Chapter 45

They finally make their way into the library where kengsington asks if Laurence wants to be the person who makes decisions for him in the future, meaning his girlfriend. Laurence falls silent and he expresses his desire to be a part of Laurence world and promises to become the person she expects him to be. He asks her once again if she would be his girlfriend and she accepts.
A man watches Howard's 'Breathe' music video and he demands that Tiffany's information gets released to the paparazzi. The butler or servant guy suggests they should inform her Grandpa but he isn't worried. The man is none other than chris the guy she was supposed to marry.
Tiffany does her makeup in the morning to become her usual self as Laurence enters and tells her that every girl wishes to be pretty but she dresses herself down every day. She wonders which side Tiffany likes best and Tiffany agrees that every girl wants to be pretty. She figures out that she looks like Spongebob and does an imitation of him before resigning herself and saying that she chose to look that way in order to avoid her grandfather and chris, her almost fiancé, and calls her makeup her mask. she did say that she was trying not to be caught by him before.
Chris points out that she doesn't have anything to be afraid of anymore, she doesn't have to wear the makeup. Tiffany finally realizes that herself and Laurence suggest that she go to school looking pretty on their first day of the new semester. Tiffany happily agrees.
So that's how Tiffany appears in the classroom, dressed as her usual self, well now as Jessica, much to everyone's surprise. All of the guys crowd around her as they notice how pretty she is and Howard overhears everyone's remarks. He approaches a group of guys in the back and tells them that they must feel lucky there are two good looking people in the class, meaning himself, but the guys point out Laurence as the second person, much to his disbelief.
Tiffany approaches Howard and wonders if he notices anything different. Howard attempts to play it cool by just pointing out that she's just not wearing her glasses and tries to say that no one will give her a second glance if she walks on the street causing everyone in the class to turn and look at him. He wonders why they're all staring and asks if they don't have any work to do, but everyone's already done the exercises on the board. He then turns to Tiffany to help him with the equations on the board only to find out that permutations and combinations aren't chemistry.
After class Jeff went out to play basketball and Howard joins him. He's about to make a basket his way, from shooting between the legs, and tries to make one the cool way when he sees people standing there. Jeff doesn't see any fans looking for him and when Howard goes over to greet them, it turns out that they're not there for him, but for Tiffany. In a reversal, he's the one collecting letters and flowers for her.
They eventually find Tiffany surrounded by a ton of guys. He separates her from the rest of them and tell them not to harass her, but they're all there from separate clubs, there to express just how much they respect Tiffany and how much her works in those areas, piano, drawing, and ballet, touch them. Howard can't believe what he's hearing and they ask him to move out of the way so they can learn from her.
Howard calls Daniel to ask him if he's going to do anything about Tiffany since she's gone back to being pretty. He tries to create a scenario where Tiffany being pretty would be a problem but Daniel doesn't see any problem since the public will be happy to hear that Tiffany has gone pretty and even throws out her possibly becoming a celebrity. Unable to her any longer, Howard just holds out his phone as Daniel continues to talk.
since Tiffany ran out of her engagement party she hasn't seen or heard about chris because she was hiding from him. But either way, it seems like he wants to damage Tiffany's.
Andrew decide to stick with Bernice through everything, vowing to be there for her. That he want to become someone important to her as he stays by her side through the difficult periods. he's positively trying to change her mind about her future, unlike susanne who was only filling her mind with delusions she was attempting to make real. Andrew knows that Bernice shouldn't be hung up on one man and he confronted susanne about basically being something toxic in Bernice's life.
On the other hand, Howard was pretty jealous and hilarious. He doesn't know what to do with himself now that Tiffany went back to being her original self. He didn't dislikes the fact that she went back and changed her appearance but he's probably just experiencing shock because he's not used to her getting such attention from the people around her. Therefore rather than being happy about it he probably feels a sense of insecurity.
The time Tiffany came to the school, she never really showed Howard her original self. So at that time no one figured that it's Tiffany when Jessica has clearly made appearances before but no one noticed that it was her back then. Tiffany just didn't wear the makeup and just wore her regular clothes as Tiffany, Instead she went back to wearing a white dress, in typical Jessica's fashion. it shows a better sort of like combination of her two identities when she kept her outgoing clothes and kept her true appearance.
Laurence and kengsington were now honest with themselves. Kengsington decide to confess his feelings for her telling her he likes her and ask her if she want to be the one to choose or make decisions for him in the future.
