"Don't Fear Me, Butterfly"
Ben:
“Maxine, where’s Elicia?” Nodding to them to follow me towards the far wall under our office viewing window, finding Roger at the bar with Ezra escorting Dani’s friend, Patrick, out by the neck laughing joylessly.
“She’s not responding to my texts and it’s going straight to voicemail.” Randi looked up from his phone with swirling red orbs, grabbing my collar as my body slammed into the wall with an angry thud.
“WHAT DID YOU DO?” Randi snarled hissed in my face, smelling the sweet aroma of tequila as Rex and Maxine grabbed his arms, pulling him back enough to breath the smoggy club air.
“Nothing. Dani snuck in and “fucking” kissed me as Elicia appeared in the crowd. Bristol took care of Dani, but when I turned around she was gone.” Tugging at my locks in frustration as my brothers appeared raving mad.
“Before you go fucking “Bat-Shit-Crazy”, let me check a few spots first.” Maxine darting along the dark corridor towards the loo as Dom sauntered over with a gloomy expression and blazing red orbs.
“Why the Bloody Hell are you still messing with that chick?” Dom was beyond livid as we stepped into the access hall leading up to our office with our heads hung in disbelief that within a short time, everything exploded in our faces.
“We’re not. We stopped messing with her and Patrick a year ago. The girl in mentally unstable.” Elias deadpanned with a dark scowl laced across his face as Dom gave him that “Oh Really” look like when someone doesn’t fully believe your words.
Elias was telling the truth. Dani and Patrick were our last “trainees”, and we haven’t used the “basement” since then. Our sexual encounters have been one night stands here at the club with visiting customers to avoid another “Dani and Patrick” situation.
Which is strange now that I think about it, we haven’t had sex for a while.
“Well, if I knew you “boys” swung like that then we could have partied a long time ago.” Randi laughed darkly with Rex, snarling lowly at him knowing he was trying to lighten the mood but failed horribly.
“Our concern right now is finding her, especially with Bain creeping around with no idea where he is at.” Roger punched the dark gray wall, cracking the smoothed concrete finish into a small crater.
“Speaking of “Bain”, Mom talked to Aunt Mei. Peyton has some kind of “barrier block” preventing them from finding any information, but Lady Morgan and a Lady Clay are working on a reversal spell to assist in cracking the barrier.” Dom exhaled heavily as he looked up to the ceiling painted black to hide all the pipes and wiring.
“Ben?” Maxine’s voice spoke rushed from behind as she stood in the cracked door with an even scarier expression.
“Where is she?” We shouted out in a rush, stopping mid-step as she pointed to me with a stern finger.
“She’ll only see you. Now Move!” She flicked her finger, motioning to get my ass in gear as my feet followed her command before my brain could catch up to the fact, she only wanted to see me.
“Fix this.” My brothers growled out coldly as the thumping bass ricocheted off my pounding heart, quickly sliding past the line of hazed women waiting to use the loo.
“THE LOO IS CLOSED.” Closing the door to the modern black on white room with opal flecks shimmering gently under the recessed lighting, hearing the faint sniffles echo from the last stall.
“Butterfly.” Leaning against the stainless steel divider, facing the wall of mirrors as her curled up pose, reflected coldly against the lively mirrored room with her head resting on her crossed arms as they held her knees tight to her squatting stance.
“Don’t! Don’t “Butterfly” me.” Her words sliced deeply into my heart, sliding down the smooth metal divider, matching her pose but relaxed as her sniffles intensified.
“I was stupid to think...” She mumbled into her arms, wiping away the tears that fell from her covered face, only able to see her from the waist down.
“Stupid about what?” Curious to know what she meant, hoping it had to deal with our mate bond but at this moment in time, all I wanted was her to stop crying and smile that beautiful, carefree smile.
“Forget it. It was foolish thinking. I’m here to have fun, so why should I care if you were making out with someone else. Not like “we” are a thing.” Her words were cold and calculated as she shuffled to her feet, adjusting her matching stilettoes as she shimmied her tanned legs to smooth out her bunched up dress.
Hopping to my feet as the bolt clicked open to reveal her red puffy eyes and waterlogged cheeks, stepping forward but halted my movement as she turned away with her hands held up.
Her blue hazels dull of emotion as she washed her hands, cleaning up her face with a quick hand as she avoided eye contact with the mirror.
“Butterfly.” Speaking softly as she whipped around with a raging inferno burning brightly behind her glassy orbs.
“Butterfly! You dare to call me “Butterfly”! Hell, I don’t even know why I got upset, you and your brothers are all the same. Sweet and caring but in reality you’re conniving, horny, douchbags that will “FUCK” anything that walks. Sorry but not sorry, Ben.” The coldness of her words, ignited a nasty “demon” to awaken as my emotions swirled out of control, grabbing her arm firmly as she tried to walk out the room.
The sharp crack of her palm against my cheek, reverberated ugly against the smooth surfaces as her body began to shake with a fiery heat.
“ENJOY!” Her menacing tone, spooked me back a step as her eyes blazed to life in a glowing whiteish-blue, pulling her into my chest as we “poofed” back to my room at the villa.
I would rather deal with this privately then expose her to the public setting of the club, because those glowing eyes scared even me, and we were trained fighters with some serious dark baggage.
Releasing her struggling body as her eyes grew wide and panicked, backing away as her eyes darted around the room decorated in grays and reds with my gaming PC highlighted by changing LED lights facing out towards the lake.
“H-How d-did we get back here?” Her voice trembled in shock as she backed herself into a corner, hugging her arms tightly to her waist.
“Never corner a scared animal” Max’s words spoke firmly in the back of my mind, walking slowly to my bed as her eyes dilated like a petrified creature lost in this massive “Shit Hole” called Life.
“Don’t fear me, Butterfly.” The words came out softer than I imagined, but the loud gasp and wild eyes scared me more as she looked at me in some kind of weird, confused daydream.
Holding my hand out to her as she slowly stepped away from the wall, slipping off her heels with shaky hands as her body flushed a deep crimson, connecting our gazes as she looked up with a small smile.
“What?” Asking confused at the sudden flip in her mood as she sat gently next to me, fusing her heavenly scent with mine as she pulled a pillow from the headboard exposing her succulent thighs as her dress slid up with the movement.
She hugged the pillow tightly to her waist, looking down at the dark stained flooring as she silently argued with her internal thoughts and fears. Studying her sharp expression as those blue hazels, slowly slid up from the floor to mine as the oxygen in my lungs disappeared.
I could “Die” at this very moment and be happy, knowing she stopped my heart.
“You have a lot of explaining to do, but first…” Her gentle fingers trailed along my jaw, tossing the pillow from her lap as her supple lips embraced mine in a heated dance of swirling emotions, gently laying her back against the plush cotton comforter.
“Where are you?” Elias growled out in our link as her delicate fingers worked each button free, refusing to break from our passionate embrace.
Slipping the thin material away from our panting chests with a playful purr, feeling her warm palms set ablaze my burning flesh as they smoothly invaded the final layer with a gasping inhale.
“BEN!” Roger growled out in link, pulling back with a snarl as my “Butterfly” laid gracefully underneath my trembling body.
FUCKING COCKBLOCKERS!
“WHAT! WHAT! WHAT?” Shouting back in annoyance as Elicia sat up with my sudden shift back to my heels, ripping the tank from my panting torso as her fingers rolled and lifted the silky royal blue material from her mouthwatering curves.
Oh, Thank the Fucking Gods!
Her perky breasts, laid gently against her smooth honey skin balanced beautifully with a set of darkened pink nipples and areolas. Silently groaning in a euphoric bliss as her fingers slowly unbuckled the black leather belt, snapping the button as her blue hazels erupted into a burning rage of lustful desire.
Moaning darkly as her hands slipped along my groin, looking at her through hooded eyes as that smooth smile tugged at the corners of her plump lips.
“Really.” Chris mocked the word annoyingly, growling darkly as her fingers slowly clicked the zipper free, cupping her cheek in my shaking palm as her tender lips parted with a mewling moan.
Triggering the “demon” to awaken with a rushing wave of static heat.
