"RISE."
Roger:
Dodging the flying lamp base as Elias flipped the sectional over with a growling snarl, quickly grabbing his arms subduing is thrashing rage to the ground, while Ben and Chris shielded the children from getting hurt.
“Take a deep fucking breath.” Snarling into his panting face, feeling our link pulsating with a manic surge of swirling emotional distress between our own emotional states and this crazy connection to Elicia as her emotional state went from scared and panicky, to calm and relaxed then BAM! out of nowhere, psychotic adrenaline.
“get off-OF ME!” Elias roared out, slamming his head into my nose, unfazed by the sudden cracking crunch as hot sticky crimson splattered along his face and floor, struggling to lock my hands together behind his thrashing head as Max and JR jumped in pinning his legs down.
“Elias! Get your shit together.” Max growled out like he would do during our training in the facility, side glancing my brothers as their heads snapped around with sinister smirks.
“Fuck you, Max!” Elias snarled out as our links ruptured with a surging blast of murderous rage, slamming his face back down as his muscles flexed and constricted along his body.
“What the Hell is going on?” Izzy slammed the door open as they entered through the back door, after seeing off the fire crew and speaking with the Fire Marshall about the explosion.
“Honestly, I have no fucking clue mom. Our emotions were already frazzled but then our links started erupting with Elicia’s emotional distress, and right now…it’s murderous.” Catching their curious stares over my shoulder as Elias snarled and huffed against the hardwood flooring.
“Okay! I spoke to LC and Derek; they’re gathering the coven to start a location spell to see if we locate her. Dominic is with Atlas at the high coven. Lady Morgan and she are contacting every person they know to get feelers out in the open.” Randi hot footed in from the front door with Rex still pacing along the driveway, looking kind of pissed at whoever he was talking to on the other line.
“Eli and Lexi are contacting our informants as we speak. We’ll find her.” Max spoke firmly, shifting his hand to reach into his pocket as his phone pinged with a message.
Finally getting Elias to come down from his emotionally driven high as another surge of distress ripped through us, screaming out in agony with my brothers as our links opened to a strange fogginess. Elicia cried out in pain as a sharp-stabbing, ricocheted along my left thigh bone as Elias jerked back suddenly, tossing us from his thrashing body.
“THEY HURT HER!!” His ear-piercing roar aggravated the fogginess as another surge of paralyzing bone snapping, rocketed through our bodies, watching Chris and Ben drop to their knees in tears, feeling the surging panic as her cries grew wilder.
“Izzy, get the kids out of here.” Mei jumped over the shattered heap of couch, kneeling down with her eyes blazing a golden hue as her hands laid gently along my forehead.
Hyperventilating with the crushing feeling of my chest choking the air from my lungs, plunged us into a slurry of incoherent mumblings as our lips trembled in agonizing pain and panic.
“Oh, God! There breaking her.” Mei’s eyes snapped up to a stunned Max as his by-colored orbs swirled demonically with a blackness darker than Hell itself, jerking violently as the next surge of nerve-numbing pain sliced angrily along our spines as “Everybody Knows” by Sigrid played out somberly.
Blinking back the stinging tears as they pooled heavily at the corners of my eyes as Elias roared through the house, slamming his fists through walls, smashing everything possible in a skull splitting rage. Shivering in pain, lifting my arms to my chest in a crippled mess of limbs like a defenseless hatchling after they have fallen from their nest. Tossing back in a screaming cry as everything swirled away in a blazing canvas of red and oranges, snapping my arms out as the hardwood splintered and crack under my gripping claws.
“We need to get them outside. They’ll kill us all with those flames!” Mei voiced firmly, screaming out in agony as Max slipped his massive arms under my convulsing body. Witnessing my brothers in the same agonizing situation as reddish wisps, snapped erratically from their backs and shoulders.
Shouting out as the cold breeze whipped violently against my Napalm infused flesh, vomiting the slimy contents from my stomach as the grass blades pierced and shredded along my palms. Feeling the gritty earth push under my nails as the ground wept with my piercing claws, dropping to my side in a pathetic attempt at a fetal position. Reaching for my brothers with a shaky hand as Desmond laid them to my sides, huddling together like many nights growing up.
“They broke her spirit.” Elias cried out in our link as everything whooshed away, leaving us standing in the middle of a desert as the sandy earth swirled and whipped along our gold dusted flesh. Examining our white linen kilts and heavy belts molded and decorated in beautiful hues of indigos and reds over hand crafted gold. Thrusted wildly through the desert, halted inside a massive stone temple of smoothed stone and hieroglyphics as the hand carved torches flickered and danced seductively along the stone walls.
“moraqba al-khasin.” (My Watchmen) Her angelic voice spoke from the flickering ceilings and hallways as we stood at attention like Warriors as her curvaceous silhouette, drifted behind the wall of crimson sheers as the flickering torch light danced wildly along her golden skin.
“melektana.” (Our Queen) swinging our left arms behind our backs as our knees touched the ground, slamming our right fists over our hearts as she slithered her hand along the silky sheer material. Pulling it back to reveal our Temptress with long, straight black locks decorated in glistening beads of gold as the floating red disk danced gently between her horns.
“RISE.” She motioned with her fluid hand, curling her fingers into her palm as she side-stepped down the stairs with a graceful motion like a dancer.
My brothers stood firmly from my peripheral as her gorgeous body, shimmered and danced behind that revealing kalasiris of beads and golden material, clinking softly against the stone steps depicting her Godly status as she stood before us majestically.
“Now is the time to rise from the ashes.” Her words swirled wildly along our bodies as the overwhelming sensation “to protect”, roared from our chests as her arms welcomed our fiery desire for this Goddess, our Temptress, as her body and soul consumed every ounce of our turbulent emotions.
Thrusted back into darkness as screams and shouting echoed along the shadows, drifting slowly into the warm feeling of being desired and cherished.
“Roger! Don’t you fucking dare go into that light.” Mei’s voiced growled through the shadows, hearing my brothers laughing at her scary tone that always made us hide behind Max as our personal “Mate Shield” against her warring temperament.
“Sorry! No light here. Just…darkness.” Laughing out with my brothers as my eyes scanned the silky darkness of our subconscious.
“Dude! If she heard you right now, she would be beating your ass in the ring.” Ben chuckled darkly from behind as they slowly appeared one-by-one.
“Don’t forget Max.” Chris plopped to the silky ground, laying back like he usually did when he was thinking, noticing Elias tracing his Wdjat and the symbol of Hathor as glimmering droplets fell from his chin.
“Is he seriously crying?” Chris snapped up in shock, draping his arms over his knees.
“We all are.” Wiping my chin with my fingers, brushing my thumb along my fingertips as the droplets coated my nerves in a salty coolness.
“What did she mean by “rise from the ashes”?” Elias looked up from his chest with a glimmering hue of golden amber, laced brightly across his eyes.
Remembering her majestic display of Divinity as the memories of the other night flooded back with gasping growls, jolting back in a staticky discharge as the darkness grew heavier with each breath.
“I guess we’ll just have to find out.” Ben palmed Elias’ shoulder as the darkness took control, plunging us into the calming embrace of nothing.
No longer lost and tormented.
