"MA!"

Elicia:

“Kitten, please look at me.” Elias pleaded with me as my blurry eyes opened to a panicked Elias as his ambered orbs scanned along my face, looking for a hidden answer as my phone beeped and buzzed along the coffee table.

“It’s Rex.” Roger grabbed my phone, answering it as sobbing and sirens blared through the speaker.

“Rex, what’s happening?” Desmond spoke quickly, swiping the phone from the table as my legs sprang to life, jumping over Elias and the couch. Tumbling to my ass with a solid “ouf!” as soft chuckles, echoed around the swirling room of Christmas cottage and wet dog as Maxine walked in with a fresh mug of coffee.

Her smiling face faltering as her gray-hazel eyes grew large with concern, choking back a silent sob behind her fist as Izzy waved for her to take a seat.

“Randi’s been shot. It was Bain.” Rex’s words sent the final sword stabbing through my heart as everything exploded into a fiery kaleidoscope of colors, feeling my body erupt with a rushing tidal wave of electricity and heat.

Clenching my heart in pain as hot palms pulled me into a blazing blanket of muscles and heat, sobbing out as Rex’s sobs matched my own heart ache.

“Rex, honey. Where are they taking him?” Izzy spoke calmly as my sobs racked every inch of my body, fearing the loss of my “Friend and brother from another mother” as Randi’s megawatt smile triggered a strange sensation deep within the dark recess of my hidden heart.

“St. Thomas’ Hospital.” Rex took a heavy inhale with a shaky breath as the hollowed clanks and clatter sounded in the background as sirens screamed their dreadful cries to the heavens.

“Okay, I’ll send Mama Eve, she’s the closet.” Izzy spoke quickly as Desmond texted with a lightning-fast reply, while the guys carried me towards my room in an emotional distress as the panic intensified with each step.

Clenching tightly to Roger’s chest as Ben and Chris drew a hot bath adding my acai berry bath bomb quickly grabbing extra towels, while Elias helped undress my trembling body racked with heavy sobs.

“W-why can’t h-he just leave m-me alone?” Sobbing heavier with the last word as Roger kissed my head softly, handing me over to Elias sitting in the bath as they quickly removed their sweats, sliding into the steaming bath.

“Here Butterfly.” Ben spoke softly as he pulled my hair up into a messy bun with gentle fingers. Roger and Chris lathered up sponges, grabbing a foot massaging and kneading the muscles into submission, while Elias rubbed soothing circles along my back as my sobs slowed to hiccups and sniffles.

“Kitten, Randi will be okay. Remember he’s “Randi” and Mama Eve is an excellent Doctor.” Elias brushed my soggy bangs from my cheeks, tilting my puffy face towards his as his soft lips eased my panic to a slow simmer.

Pulling back with steamy lips as his amber orbs swirled with a dark desire, looking over my shoulder with flushed cheeks as Roger, Chris and Ben stared back me with pouty lips as their eyes swirled with the same desire. Tucking my head down behind my fist as their soft chuckles eased me further from panic, but something darker, more primal boiled to life as my body roared to life with a trembling rush of electricity.

Noticing the Wdjat with a new symbol underneath, tracing it gently as a low growling purr rippled through the water as the four released a shaky exhale behind fluttering closed eyes.

“You got a new tattoo?” Looking at Elias’ contorted expression as his amber orbs peeked from under his long lashes, smirking with a “yes and no” nod, confusing me with his answer.

“Temptress, what do you remember from last night?” Roger rubbed my left calf with firm fingers, but gentle enough to work out the jelly sensation that weighed my muscles down.

“Well, apparently something happened between us, but I don’t remember anything after the glowing bodies under the blacklights at the club. It’s like a heavy fog rolled in and blocked me out from remembering what exactly happened.” Looking between their puzzled expressions as Elias shifted me around so my back laid flush against his chiseled chest, running his hands along my arms with a mewling moan that triggered a slurry of curses and low snarls.

“Elias?” Izzy’s voice spoke softly from nowhere, looking around not seeing her at the bathroom door. Confusion settling in as the guys perked a brow at my expression.

“Yeah, ma?” Elias replied but he never spoke, spinning around backing up a little to a shocked and confused expression from Elias.

Running my hands over my face, inhaling the steam that rolled from my palms as Elias leaned forward with his brothers, studying my spooked state.

“How’s E, did she calm down?” Izzy spoke again with a softness that pulled at my heart, missing LC and Bailey deeply as four hot palms, gently stroked along my back and arms, looking for answers that were currently unavailable.

“Yeah, but she’s silently freaking out about something.” His voice sounded concerned, jerking away from their touch as my mind spun uncontrollably into a foggy haze.

“Why can I hear you speaking, when you’re not…with Izzy?” Covering my exposed chest as the guys slid around to one side, while my body drifted to the opposite side with a blank look of terror.

“Shit! How the Hell can she hear our link?” Roger spoke excitedly as their amber orbs swirled with a wild hue of green laced deeply against the rich amber, tilting my head towards Roger as his straight face ticked with a grin.

“You heard that?” Ben pointed towards Roger as they shared curious expressions between them.

Nodding “yes” to the question with a strange heat creeping up my spine as my body shivered under their intense gazes.

“How can this happen; we haven’t marked each other?” Chris looked at his brothers with a strange gleam laced across his swirling orbs as my body grew hotter with each second.

“Link? Marked?” Whispering out the words to myself, watching the bubbles sparkle and disappear against the cooling water as the air sucked from the room, snapping my eyes to Izzy standing with her hand over her mouth, suppressing a snicker as the guys cupped their junks beneath the bubbly water.

“MA!” All four shouted out in panic as she grabbed the robe draped over the vanity bench by the closet.

“Oh, hush it! Seen one, seen them all.” She waved off their bashfulness as she held out her hand to me, lifting me with a soft smile as the soft robe enveloped my body in a layer of white cotton and fresh linen scent.

“Boys, your dad needs you. E, honey, I don’t want you to freak out, but Mama Eve and Rex are bringing Randi back here. Okay?” She rubbed my arms smoothly as the guys stood from the bubbly bath water, quickly draping their hips with white towels, sparking a strange déjà vu to occur.

The creeping heat boiling over as Izzy gasped in shock, stepping back a step as the guys froze in place staring at my confused expression as Izzy quickly turned me towards the mirror. Jumping back in fear as my eyes glowed a crazy whiteish-blue, blinking in disbelief as they stared back at me with a calming sensation as the heat rolled through my veins.

“THAT! That’s what happened last night, causing me to bring her back here.” Ben spoke in a rushed tone, snapping my gaze towards them feeling this pull towards their marks. Stepping towards Ben as his eyes swirled wildly with his brothers, lifting my fingers with a slight jerk as they inhaled sharply at my movements.

“Grow some “Balls”.” Izzy hissed lowly, smirking at their scowls as my fingers inched closer to the Wdjat, barely touching it as images flooded the congested haze, groaning out against the rushing sensations of euphoria. Pulling back quickly with a screaming cry as my flesh sizzled and burned like a branding iron had been plunged into my chest over my heart.

Stumbling backwards into Izzy’s cool embrace as the guys rushed forward, laying me gently against the cool tiled floor. Izzy grabbed a cold washcloth, wiping it along my forehead as my body trembled violently against the sheering pain that pricked along my flesh.

“Sweetheart, breathe.” Izzy inhaled deeply, releasing looking at me with those jaded eyes peppered with tiny red flecks along the iris. Placing my trembling hand over my chest as my heart hammered violently under my ribcage.

“E!” I swore Randi just called my name, causing the panic to overlap the shock as my breathing spiked erratically.

“He really knows the best time to show-up.” Chris chuckled darkly, looking at him with a pointed stare as they leaned over, helping Izzy to calm me down.

“E!” Randi slid to a stop, griping the doorframe to keep himself from tripping over the threshold, scanning around the room with a perked brow of amusement.

My hammering heart hopscotched a few beats, before everything collided and smashed violently together against my skull like a crystal vase shattering to pieces.
Smacking him with the last of my strength as he kneeled to hold my hand, smirking darkly at the cracking echo as the kaleidoscope of colors suffocated the world into darkness.

“Fucking Wanker!”
