Good Puppies
Chris:
The music intensified with her movements as she leaped and spun through the air like she had wings, landing gracefully as the music faded away with a strange tingling creeping through my veins.
Bailey was right as “Who are you?” by SVRCINA thumped through the property like we were literally the music itself as her movements became more emotional. Throwing out every troubling thought or emotion as her body erupted into a ghostly embrace of dancing smoke and sparkling energy snaps.
“I think I know what her power has been all this time?” Clearing the dry lump from my throat as my voice cracked out in a strangled croak, looking between my brothers and their facial confirmations as my chest began to tingle with a swirling warmth. Placing my palm over my mark as the warmth electrocuted my nerves into a frenzy of rolling static shocks, hearing her humming voice in link as she dived further into the music.
“We’re looking at it now.” Elias grinned ear-to-ear as she paused in her movements to drink some water, almost like breaking the trance as we finally moved from our seats, abandoning our now cold coffee as she walked over to us with a bright smile.
“I’m a little rusty, but it felt so good to get it all out.” Her smile matched Randi’s super megawatt level as her tanned skin, glowed and shimmered against the early-noon sun rays but failed to warm the changing winds that blew in over the open pastures.
“Let’s go inside to talk.” Roger held his arm out to her as she hooked it with a peppy bounce to her step, grabbing her small tote bag as Maxine slipped in the house first, quickly preparing a fresh round of coffee as we took seats in the living room. She grabbed a spare blanket from the rack along the side wall of the kitchen entry, draping it over the chaise before she sat with us waiting like good puppies before sitting along the floor and sectional to her right.
“Here we go. Fresh coffee!” Maxine sung happily as she placed the serving tray on the circular coffee table made from a thick chunk of hickory, passing Elicia her fresh mug as she placed a warm, lingering kiss on my cheek.
“How did you sleep?” Her hot whispering breath fanned wildly along my neck, coughing into my fist snapping my eyes to her piercing hazel-blues as they shimmered brightly under the natural light of the windows.
“g-Good! And you?” Clearing the dark rasp from my throat as her smoldering smile embraced the rim of her mug, tossing me a quick wink before she turned her attention to the laughing banter that roared through the living room as Amelia and LC joined us.
“Aw, boys. How was breakfast?” LC smiled brightly as she hugged Elicia with a giddy chuckle as her intense gray-blues stared us down with a silent challenge.
“Pubescent pre-ejaculation for a THOUSAND!” Roger roared in laughter through our link, causing Ben to squeeze his mug with white knuckles.
“Stimulating.” We laughed out loudly, looking at our little mate as her face turned bright red, dropping her face into her palms with a grunting groan. Roger brushed his finger along her toned calf, hidden beneath those tight black leggings that emphasized her curves in all the right places.
“Someone’s hungry.” Ben growled out in our link as her head snapped up with a shocked expression, shifting her legs only to increase the sweet aroma of her arousal as Roger and Ben purred over their shoulders from the floor.
“Bad, Kitty-kitty.” Elias growled darkly causing her chest and face to blush darkly as her heartbeat fluttered wildly like that of a hummingbird, fist bumping him as LC and Amelia grabbed seats along the sectional next to Maxine and Bailey.
“The Fucking Firing Squad.” We chuckled out together with Elicia as she relaxed back into the plushy cushions with a heavy exhale.
“So, what are you kids planning for today?” LC smiled devilishly as she sipped her coffee, side-glancing Amelia as they silently communicated a hidden agenda.
“Well, we wanted to ask Elicia her opinion on maybe…house hunting.” Holding her intense gaze as her hazel-blues grew large and bright, but the supernova smile confirmed our suspicions on the matter as she jumped up, clapping her hands together excitedly as Ben held her mug in his extended hand like a table of muscle and ink.
“Wait, but what about the horses, and Maxine, Sue, and John? We can’t just leave them. Don’t get me wrong I love the villa and the land, but a new house for a new chapter is awesome.” She quickly halted her excited enthusiasm, pointing to the horses grazing in the pastures and Maxine sitting with a bright smile, wiping away a stray tear that formed in her swirling gray orbs.
For sixteen years, we were raised to not feel any emotion, only concerned about ourselves and the self-righteous scumbags that used us to protect them and their “Toys”, only to be sucked into a sinister world of self-hurt and sex training. Remembering the first time our father had us witness his so-called “breaking-in” session with a brunette girl, maybe twelve-years-old. Her tears and crying screams only made him more vicious in his punishments, but the overpowering feeling of being in control was intoxicating.
“CHRIS!” My brothers stood overtop me with snarling expressions as Elicia hugged her knees tightly to her chest, rocking back-and-forth as she tried to calm her panicking sobs.
Instantly mortified, reaching for her but halted as she smacked my hands away, scurrying over the sectional as she stared at us in shock and disgust. Pleading to my brothers for forgiveness. I never intended for her to find out like that, and so suddenly, but we had to talk about it at some point in time, just not right at this fucking moment in time, while we were arranging to find a new house together and getting her settled back into normalcy.
FUCK!!! Me and my fucking thoughts. Damnit to Hell!
“You-you…are monsters.” Her whispering voice shattered every fiber in my body as my brothers crumbled into hunched heaps of angry growls and curses, side glancing me with death stares.
“Elicia, baby girl.” LC spoke calmly as she looked at Amelia with a strange, perplexed expression that only fueled the thumping anxiety in our link. Exhaling in defeat, rubbing my hands over my face into my damp locks, knowing I had to fix this quickly.
“Hummingbird…” Sneaking a calculated look at her facial expression, before continuing as her hazel-blues swirled wildly with a ghostly sheen of white, swallowing the bolder that choked the air from my lungs.
“Don’t FUCK this up more than you already have.” My brothers glared at me from their hunched positions along the sectional.
I’m starting to get annoyed with this whole “linking” bullshit.
“Like I don’t FUCKING know that.” Snarling back at them as Elicia stepped back slowly, trembling, nervous as her eyes darted around the room, looking at LC like she had been betrayed in some unspoken way.
“She knows nothing about us, just what is known publicly.” Holding a relaxed hand out towards LC on the brink of tears as she looked at Elicia with so much love and understanding but knew not to push back, because the swirling pain and emotional distress was evident not only in her eyes, but in our links as well.
I could see my brothers nod in confirmation from my peripheral, standing slowly as her pupils dilated into endless pools of glowing blackness as her foot slid back in response to my approaching stance.
“Easy. My poor Kitten is frightened.” Elias cooed in our link, snapping my eyes to him in a “what the fuck” expression as he stayed poised and collected, studying her closely with his hands clasped together across his knees.
“Try to stay calm. We would never hurt you, but we will hurt whoever hurts you, whether it be foe or familiar.” Exhaling heavily against the low, hissing snarls that swirled around the room, inhaling sharply as her frightened stance flinched in fear.
Triggering a warning growl to slip loudly from my chest as the ladies gave me the “look” like I had insulted them, when I was the one fucking annoyed with the situation of having to explain our fucked up and damaged pasts with a GOD-DAMN-FUCKING-PEANUT GALLERY!
“Careful, Butterfly might fly away.” Ben spoke with a softer tone in link, causing my raging thoughts to simmer uncontrollably, eye murdering him as he looked up with a smirk, winking back like a smartass.
I’ll smack it straight off his fucking face.
