BOO!
Elicia:
Why do I keep blacking out? I mean, yeah, I’m super pissed at Randi for scaring me and poor Rex. Scanning around the living room through the tears that blurred all the curious faces into Picasso’s, blinking back enough to see everyone silently conversing with twitching lips and pitched brows of frustration.
“I’m so sorry, E.” Randi gently rocked my trembling body into a calm fluttering, trying to make sense of my confusion and clouded thoughts.
“What happened last night?” Everyone’s angered voices growled and snarled out of nowhere, sitting up staring at Randi’s confused expression as the room remained silent, except for the light, giggly laughter of the children playing with Izzy in the kitchen.
“E?” Randi questioned softly as his soft greens flickered between my spooked pose and the others staring at me with questioning expressions. Inhaling the soothing Christmas cottage scent mixed with a strange cross of wet dog and earth, examining Randi’s disheveled appearance and the strange pinkish scar-like mark on the side of his neck as his cool hands rubbed gently along my arms.
“Elicia, sweetheart?” Mama Eve spoke softly, leaning forward from her poised position in the wing back as her delicate hands cupped the etched glass with a reddish-ambered liquid gently ghosting along the balled-ice.
What is wrong with me?
Sliding from Randi’s lap as his hands slipped to his thighs, staring at me with a questioning brow and smirk, looking around the room like I was trapped in some kind of a haze as the gentle neighing of the horses called to me.
“Excuse me.” My voice whispered weakly as the four brothers leaned forward to stand, holding my hand out to stop them.
“Alone.” Inhaling sharply at their sad expressions as my feet led me through the warm villa of antiques and calming color palettes, slipping on my muck boots as the crisp air consumed my trembling body.
“WHAT DID YOU DO?” Izzy’s natural singsong voice, roared from the house as the soft grass crunched and molded to my steps. Feeling lost, confused of my surroundings. Slipping into the barn where Lady Luck and Aries casually grazed on their hay, swishing their tails lazily from their stall as Aries poked his gorgeous black maned head through his stall door.
“Hey Handsome.” Running my hand along his jowl, down into his muscular neck with a soft neighing and head bump in response. His glassy ink-like orb staring at me like he could see into my troubled soul, soothing it enough to allow me some solace.
Lady Luck hoofing the stall floor with a neighing shake of her head as she grazed on her half-exposed hay in mouth, leaning her smoky-gray head out the stall door with her large chestnut orbs watching Aries and I silent communication.
“Hey Beautiful.” Smiling at her head nod as she agreed with my comment, reaching over to pet her snout with a pouty scoff from Aries.
“Oh, stop it jealous.” Laughing softly at his pouty face as Lady Luck nudged my shoulder, nibbling on my shirt collar. Relishing in her silky coat against my cheek as she leaned into my embrace hugging her neck with a heavy sigh.
“What is happening to me? I feel so lost like something significant is missing.” Pulling back from her warmth, staring into those soul catching chestnut orbs, rubbing along her snout as she nuzzled into my hands with a comforting neigh.
Noticing the radio playing “Una furtiva lagrima”, savoring the soothing tenor voice of Luciano Pavarotti as Lady Luck and Aries both settled into a gentle trance with me. Giggling softly as they nudged each other in a loving manner. Rubbing along Aries snout as enthusiastic neighing drew my attention to Milky Way bucking and running around, while Rex laughed lightly at his cute little display of excitement.
“Oh my god! How sweet.” Laughing softly, watching Rex reach through the fencing to rub Milky Way’s head, looking just as conflicted as me with his soft expression of hurt and disorientation.
“I understand Rex.” Patting Aries jowl with a soft kiss to his snout, receiving an energetic buck of his head with a squealing whine of content.
“Okay! Okay. Come here Handsome.” Reaching up, cupping his jowl for another kiss.
“Aww, how sweet.” Freezing in fear as my heart hammered wildly behind my ribcage, turning slowly as the silky silhouette snaked through the shadows of the barn, feeling Aries and Lady Luck stiffen under my palms as his menacing amber orbs blazed through the shadows.
“Bain.” Whispering his name in shock, gripping the latch bolt behind my back as Aries stomped and hooved at the ground, snarling with flared nostrils as Lady Luck kicked at her stall door.
“BOO!” Bain stepped out from the shadows, flicking his fingers out spooking the horses and me into a panicked tornado of neighs and erratic breathing. That smug smirk, causing his dimples to peak out against the evil glint laced darkly across his amber orbs as his biker boots, scraped along the concrete flooring dusted gently in drifting hay and dirt.
“You need to leave right now. You’re trespassing on private property.” Straightening my back, squaring my shoulders as his amber eyes blazed wildly with a coldness. Sinking back into the solid pine and rod-iron stall door as Aries nudged my shoulder with a dark huffing of hot air fanning out along my exposed neck.
Bain’s approaching footsteps halted as dark, rumbling laughter spilled from his lips making him appear like a Psychotic Lunatic fixing to peel the flesh from his victim.
“Oh, you worried your “Fuck Toys” might get hurt. News Flash Elicia, you’re right. They will, and I’m going to love every second of it. But first…” His cold timbered voice sent a rippling shiver up my spine, quickly unlatching the latch bolt grabbing Aries’ mane as he burst through the stall door with Lady Luck charging head-on at Bain. Hopping two-steps, swinging my leg over Aries’ flexing back muscles as he galloped through the barn past Bain dodging Lady Luck’s bucking stomp.
Gripping tightly to his mane as Aries barreled for the back door, looking back at Bain slapping Lady’s snout as she bucked back, kicking her hooves in his face as he gracefully dodged each attack. Turning back around just as a female jumped out from behind a stack of hay bales, spooking Aries into a rearing-halt tossing me back onto the concrete with a heavy cracking thud. Balling up in pain, blinking away the black spots dancing along my sight as the female smacked Aries hind-quarter sending him galloping back towards Lady Luck, while Bain shooed them out into the pasture.
“Aww. Boo-hoo, is the little Tramp going to cry.” Her grating voice pitched darkly as her boot encased foot, stomped down onto my ribcage, groaning out against the sharp stabbing pain that clenched tightly along my muscles.
“Dani.” Bain’s cold voice stopped her mid-stomp as her hazel eyes held a silent plea to allow her but smiled triumphantly as he motioned for her to come to him. Rolling over slowly, clenching tightly to my ribs as their sickening moans and slapping of lips, triggered the silent gagging as they pulled apart with dark swirling pools of desire.
“But Baby, I was having so much FUN playing with her.” Their swirling pools of desire, now laced with evil as they looked at me with tilting smirks of malice.
“In due time, sweetheart. First…” Bain placed a kiss to her forehead, pouting as he let go to kneel, trapping me in those cold ambered orbs that once drank in every inch of my being, now staring at me with a hidden secret.
“Go Fuck Yourself, you spineless prick!” Spitting in his face as Dani lunged over his shoulder, halted by his arms as she thrashed and kicked to break free only to be subdued into his whispering taunts along her ear. Her hands yanked his head down into her eager lips as they dry-humped one another, looking around for anything as a crushing boot slammed into my jaw, knocking me semi-conscious.
Hoisted over his muscular shoulder as Dani flicked my nose with a teasing snicker as they slipped out the back door, slammed into the truck bed as it sped away through the rolling fields along the eastern side of the property.
BOOM!
The sound of whining horses, and chunks of debris peppered my slipping consciousness as everything halted to nothingness.
