Quit Being Rude.

Elicia:

“I only know that her name was ‘Prue’. Nothing more, nothing less. My father is unknown at the moment.” Crossing my arms over my chest as my stomach swirled with fluttering knots as his blue eyes softened with a misty hue.

“Prue was my daughter’s nickname. I knew your eyes were familiar, they’re your mothers.” Stunned speechless as his muscular hand cupped my cheek, brushing his calloused thumb along my jaw.

“You’ll be happy to know Rex is at my home right now. Come back with me. We have so much to discuss.” Looking past his shoulder as he motioned for the two men to approach, directing me to walk with him as the sun slowly set out over the desert valley.

His stalky build hidden beneath the flowing white material as the two guards approached with emotionless expressions, except for the shimmery hue of yellow that reflected the blazing hues of the sunset. Following their bowing movements, scowling at the tilted smirks and narrow gaze as they stood back to attention.

“Elicia this is Nasir and Aadeel, my personal guards. Nasir, Aadeel, meet Elicia, Prue’s daughter.” Pressing my fingers to my forehead in embarrassment as both men kneeled with bowed heads.

“P-Please stand. There is no reason for you to kneel.” Waving them up with my hands as they looked up with confused expressions.

Side glancing the hearty laughter that bellowed from the stalky man, motioning for us to exit the temple as my eye caught the faint flickering of the ‘Eye of Horus’ in passing. Stepping out into the warm sandy air as the skies painted over in a gorgeous canvas of pinks, reds, indigos, and fiery oranges of the setting sun.

“Where’s your vehicle?” Pointing to the empty landscape as the guards chuckled softly in their firm strides.

“Hah. No need when you can ‘poof’, that’s what you youngsters call it, right?” Smiling at his humorous smile as he held out his calloused hand, taking it hesitantly as we appeared inside a beautiful Moroccan styled home with indigo and cobalt tiling glistening majestically under the clear water of the massive fountain.

The soft Moroccan music dancing beautifully across the rippling water and smooth stucco walls, walking slowly behind the man and the guards as they led me into a large formal dining room decorated in vibrant silks and pillows. The long-embellished table greeting us with a hearty display of various foods and wines, tasting the spices as they drifted through the gentle breeze.

“Sit. Sit. I’m sure you must be hungry.” Nodding to his words as he went to pour me a glass of wine, holding up my hand to halt his pouring.

“Water is fine but is there somewhere I can freshen up.” Motioning to my dusty appearance as his sparkling eyes saddened a little.

“Please forgive my absent mind, but yes.” Smiling at his strange attitude, clapping his hands in three tight snaps as two ladies appeared dressed in dark purple Abayas’, motioning to follow.

“Thank you.” Smiling at the man as he embraced my hand, placing the gentlest of kisses against my knuckles as his blue eyes matched the smile laced across his lips.
Okay, this man does not reflect the way he has been described. Maybe I’m missing something.

Following the ladies down the hall as they walked briskly towards a set of arched doors, opening them as my eyes drank in the golden silks draped from the picturesque view of the ocean. The turquoise sheer drapes floating beautifully against the salty ocean breeze as they cascaded through the air over the various pillows positioned along the floor.

“This way.” The older lady motioned into the massive bathroom with its panorama view through the stucco arched windows, slipping from the Abayas and under clothes as the younger lady stirred in a rose scented oil to the free-flowing bath pool lined in a rich tile work of colors.

Accepting the hand of the older lady as she assisted me into the warm water, sighing out against the shivering flutter that rolled over my body as they gently scrubbed and washed my body. Pouring the refreshing rose water over my hair as their fingers massaged my scalp with soft giggling.

“shukra lek. anna (elishia) balmanasba. (Thank you. I'm Elicia by the way.)” Peeking under the wave of water as their black eyelinered hazels peered back at me with a glistening acceptance.

“Sada. Tyba.” The younger one pointed between them as they helped me from the tub, drying my hair as they rubbed my rejuvenated skin with gentle hands.

Leading me back into the bedroom, pulling out a beautiful sky blue Beledi dress like a belly dancer would wear but not too revealing, feeling the soft silk and sheer material hug my body as they chanted softly, twirling their fingers along my hair as it curled into soft waves.

“Thank you.” Nodding to them as we left the room, hearing shouting echoing down the open corridor as the ladies walked faster. Stopping mid-step as Christmas cottage smacked me in the face, stumbling over my feet as the guys stood back by the arched doorway. Rex and his father were shouting at one another as the guys froze in shock.

There muscular arms dropping from their chiseled chests, hiding my giggle behind my hand at the goofy grins that painted their faces as their brains slowly caught up with their sight, tugging firmly at their other ‘heads’.

“E!” Snapping my eyes to Rex as he rushed up to me, checking me over with concerned eyes as the man smiled brightly at me. Walking over to me with an open hand as Rex glared at his gentle gesture.

“I’m okay Rex. You four, are you just going to stand around like statues, or do I need to get my kisses from Rex?” Kissing his cheek softly as his beautiful gray-blue eyes sparkled at me, caught off-guard as four muscular men scooped me into their arms. Melting into their smoldering lips as their hands roamed over my sensitive body covered in delicate silk.

“We were so worried something happened.” Roger linked as his soft lips traced along my jawline, purring against his strong chest.

“You just vanished.” Elias nipped at my earlobe, moaning softly as his tongue flicked along the sensitive flesh.

“Bad Butterfly.” Ben captured my lips with a gentle nip to my bottom as Chris tilted my head up to him, grinning before crashing into my lips with a mewling growl.

“Get a room.” Rex chuckled behind us as he walked around the table, nodding to sit on the opposite side.

“Ahem.” Looking over to the man as his piercing blues glared at our display of affection, smiling up at those grinning faces as they led me over to the table with soft growls vibrating from their chests.

“You look stunning.” All four of them kissed my cheeks and shoulders as they slid me between them along the side of the table, while Rex sat across from us looking at his father with a confused expression.

“Thank you.” Adjusting the royal blue and gold pillow, reaching for the fresh iced water as Elias quickly grabbed it from my hand. Hissing at him.

“Rex, isn’t she just lovely?” His father asked with a soft gesture of his hand, receiving a firm nod from Rex as he examined his wine glass before taking a sip.

“Excuse us ‘Sultan’ for our apprehension to all of this, but we are aware of your ‘distaste’ with Rex.” Roger spoke formally as they checked their wine glasses along with my iced water, before handing it back to me with a narrowed glare.

“Quit being rude.” Whispering over my shoulder as the Sultan released a chesty belly laugh, sipping his wine with a tilted smirk.

“Understandable. Please call me Malik, or in Elicia’s case, grandpa.” Halting my water from my lips, looking over to Rex smiling brightly with those glowing grayish blue orbs as he sipped his wine with a regal poise.

“My turbulent relationship with my son goes back many years, but recently, something has changed my perception on the whole situation.” Smiling softly at the soft grin he gave me as his eyes misty over into a cloudy blue.

“Turbulent, hah, if that’s what you call it, trying to behead your only son after he came out of the closet. Avoiding an arranged marriage with a woman faker than the Kardashian’s put together.” Rex scoffed into his wine glass, receiving a pointed glare from his father as the guys chuckled behind me.

“Well, look at it from my point of view. I’m the Sultan for Fuck Sakes! My only son on the morning of his wedding announces he’s gay, intending to leave to become a Flight Attendant. As a father, not the Sultan, a father, how did you expect me to react when you announced it to the entire fucking wedding venue?” Okay, now it’s making sense.

“Oh that’s GRAND! Was it because I embarrassed you calling that thing a ‘walking plastic factory’ or the fact I announced being gay by kissing your bodyguard? If you had listened to me the entire time leading up to that ‘shit show’, all of it could have been avoided, but NO, the Sultan always gets his way. If mama hadn’t stepped in when she did, it would have been plastered across billboards all over the fucking world.” The lightning bolt daggers glaring from their eyes had us all on edge as we quietly sipped at our drinks.

“Your mother loved you more than anything. Would it have killed you to show up for her funeral, or were you too caught up in the next swinging dick to even care? Oh, how about when your sister disappeared? It destroyed your mother to know she would never see her children again.” Hearing the guys suck in sharp breaths as Rex’s face paled at the mentioning of his mother and sister, slamming my hands down on the table because this just went too far.

I have had it with this petty shit!
