Chapter 20

Crysler grabbed Zach from the collar of his shirt. He pushed him towards a wall and then punched his face so hard that the blood start oozing from the side of his lips. Zach saw the stars dancing in front of his eyes. He was not expecting this attack and he was not ready to fight back.
"How dare you touch her?" Chrysler growled. Zach struggled, he was able to get out of Crysler's grip.
"What is wrong with you? Stay away from me." Zach pushed Crysler away from him. He was taking deep breaths and he wiped the side of his mouth.
"Rebecca, what is going on? Who is this man?" Zach shouted. Crysler growled.
"How dare you touch her? And how dare you talk to her in that tone!!!" Crysler's eyes were glowing violet. His hands curled in fists. He was again going towards Zach but Rebecca came in between both of them.
"Stop it, Crysler that's too much! Just stop it." She shouted then went towards Zach.
"Zach, are you fine?" Rebecca looked at his face in worry. She was going to wipe the blood but Zach stopped her.
"Zach, I wanted to tell you about Crysler, he is..." She stopped, her eyes filled with tears.
"You get out from here..." Zach shouted looking towards Crysler. But his eyes were stuck on Rebecca's face.
"I said, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE..." Zach shouted and pushed Crysler out of the door.
"You don't touch me," Crysler growled. Zach closed the door of Rebecca's office. She is now sitting on the sofa. Zach is facing around in the small space.
"What is going on? Rebecca, who is this man? What is he doing here?" Zach questioned.
"Zach, I wanted to tell you, but u didn't listen to me." She sobbed.
"Rebecca, please stop crying. Tell me, what is going on?" Zach's tone was so harsh.
"Crysler is my mate. But, there is nothing between us. I just meet him two days ago..." Rebecca explained.
"Two days, Rebecca, two days and you didn't think it was important to inform me. He is the reason, you were not picking up my call." Zach accused her, and Rebecca shook her head.
"No, Zach, you are thinking wrong..." She said. Zach growled. He grabbed her by the shoulder made her stand on her feet then looked into her eyes. Zach's eyes were glowing red.
"I am not wrong. That man dares to come inside your office and punch me in the face. How can he be so possessive about you if nothing is going on between you two?" Zach snarled. His grip was so harsh. Rebecca felt his fingers digging into her flesh. She winced.
"Zach, you are hurting me!" She sobbed. Zach left her shoulders. He turned around.
"Explain it to me, what is happening in your pack?"
"The girl that ran from the lack with the vault money. I was worried about finding her, And two days ago we tracked her. I went to catch her and find him there, he is her brother..." Rebecca explained.
"I had my doubts about both of them, I couldn't decide whom to punish so I bring them back in the pack," Rebecca said. The tears flowed down her cheeks. Zach turned around, his hands clutched in fists.
"And you dragged him here with you without thinking? Are you crazy? Or is it only because he is your mate?" Zach again blamed her.
"No, Zach, please... It's nothing like that," She grabbed his hand. But Zach pulled her hand out from her grip.
"You know what Rebecca everyone is right about you. You are not worth running this pack. You don't even know how to handle these types of matters..." Zach was cut in mid-sentence. Crysler again barged inside the office. This time, he didn't back away. Crysler grabbed Zach from his throat. His hands curled on his neck and Crysler applied so much pressure that Zach started choking. His eyes came out, he was coughing badly.
"Enough of your language with her, say sorry to her right now or I will cut your tongue," Crysler ordered. Zach saw his eyes were full of black. He saw the monster lurking out from them, Rebecca came he put a hand on Crysler's arm.
"Crysler let him go, please." She begged. Chrysler turned around. He was going to growl but looking at the tears in his eyes. He calmed down.
Crysler threw Zach on the floor and then kicked him in his ribs. Zach winced in pain.
"This man, you are going to get married to this man?" He doesn't respect you. He doesn't even know how to talk to you? He doesn't trust you? How will you have spent your whole life with him?" Crysler asked Rebecca.
"And you were hearing him insulting you? Rebecca, you have to speak for yourself. He doesn't have any right to speak to you in that tone or accuse you. You don't have to explain anything to him..." Crysler's voice was loud and clear. There was no harshness in his tone but he was talking to her smoothly.
"And this bastard will say sorry to you right now..." Crysler grabbed Zach from his hair. He made her look towards Rebecca.
"Say sorry to her," Crysler growled.
"I am sorry, Rebecca. I am sorry!" Zach said. Rebecca sobbed. She put a hand over her mouth.
"Let him go, Crysler." She said. Chrysler pushed him out of the office.
"Rebecca, you will see the consequences of this did respect. I will not let you go away with this," Zach warned. Crysler roared.
"You bastard, you come back here and I will slit your throat. You touch her again and I will cut your hands. She is not alone, I am with her now and no one, no one can lay a finger on her..." Crysler shouted. Zach gulped and then ran down the stairs.
"Crysler, what have you done? He will go tell my parents. I will be in big trouble." Rebecca was crying. Crysler came close to her and then wrapped his arms around her body. Who knew he can be so gentle! Rebecca put her head on his chest, she was crying and he was caressing her back to calm her down.
"No will lay a finger on you, Rebecca. It's my promise to you, that I will not let anyone harm you." Crysler said. At that moment he realised that he is fallen in love with a girl. He can not do anything to stop his feelings for her, Rebecca is his mate. And this connection is far more precious than anything in this entire universe.
