Chapter 33

Rebecca was laying on the cold ground. Only one day left on the full moon. But tonight the moon is shining as brightly as it can...
"Ahh, Please make it stop! I can not bear the pain. Please make it stop or I will die." Rebecca was crying out, but no one heard her plea.
"Please, anyone? Please make it stop! I am begging, ahh, I can not tolerate the pain anymore..." Her eyes were turning to white then coming back to normal. The saliva came out of her mouth. Her hands were tightly clenched in fists. She was taking deep breaths, the tears running wildly over her cheeks. The chains in her hands rattled, the iron was burning her skin.
But, no one heard her plea in this dark cage. Rebecca lay on the ground hiding her face and body from the direct falling moonlight. The pain was unbearable but it was her own choice. She has to feel it all... She has to get through all the pain to break the mate bond. But, will she be able to survive the agony and pain?
As the light from the moon fall upon her body, she felt as if someone set all of her body on fire. She was crying and shouting in agony.
"They said it was easy, They lied to me! I can not do it. I will die rather than feel this agony. Please, let me out of here. I don't want to do it. Please, get me out... I wanna die." The burning was intensified, and she felt her head pounding hard. Her eyes widen the blood starts coming out of her mouth. She was choking on it. Her heart-wrenching cries shook the ground.
No, it can not be her redemption.
It was a mere mistake, she didn't do it on purpose. She didn't know anything about Crysler. It was not her fault, she took the blame on her head. She thought it will be easy to break the mate bond, but she want to die now...
Rebecca accepted the advice of the elders. It took a whole day to come to this decision, now she can not back away. Her heart is pounding in her ears. She is taking deep breaths. Rebecca is far away from the pack, she is in a cellar and one of the elder wolves appeared and started the ceremony to break her bond. They left her alone in this dark dungeon.
On the other hand, Crysler is at the border with Simon. He felt it, the pull towards Rebecca. But he can not go, he is here to strategize the plan for a counter-attack on Wolf Alpha Pack. But suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his chest. The pain is almost unbearable, a cry of pain came out of his mouth.
"ugh..." He cried and put his hand over his heart. All of Crysler's body is burning in seething pain.
"What's going on with me? What is happening?" His mind was not working, his senses were getting blurry and his body become numb.
"Go to our mate." He heard his wolf in his head.
"Mate is not fine. Go to her..." The wolf again cried. Crysler falls to the ground.
"Rebecca, where is she?" He groned in pain.
"I need to go to her..." He murmured. His eyes burning as someone threw iced water in them and he can not close his eyes.
Simin look at his condition. He came running towards him.
"Where is Rebecca?" He whispered. It is very difficult to even talk or think...
"I don't know about Luna. But you are not looking well." Simon said.
"I am fine, Go and look for Rebecca." Crysler cried. He tried to get up but due to the pain in his chest. He fall back.
"Crysler, I will go look for her, but first what happened to you?" Simon sat on the ground beside him. He saw Crysler's eyes turning white, the black from his eyes was gone. He was taking deep breaths.
"OMG! What happened to him!" Simon freaked out.
He called the warrior wolves to come and help with Crysler. They all took him to the hospital. Crysler was breathing heavily, his body was so cold and he was all wet in his sweat. Simon checked his pulse. They were losing him.
"Guys, come on. We have to hurry to the hospital. Or he will die." He shouted.
It was almost done. Rebecca lost her senses, it was her wolf howling in pain. If the human side of her will break the mate bond. The wolf will resist it. And the fight between them was still on... Rebecca was trying to break all ties with Crysler. But she didn't realize it will not only kill him but her also... The process was almost complete when someone burst into the cellar. The man rushed towards Rebecca. He pulled her out of the trance and break the chains around her body.
"Rebecca, open your eyes. Look at me... Rebecca!!!" The man shouted looking at her body going numb. He shook her body grabbing her from her shoulders.
"I told you, not to do anything stupid. What have you done? My daughter..." The man cried looking at her losing all her senses. Rebecca's breaths are fading, her heartbeat is getting weaker and weaker. And her body is as cold as ice. She finally closed her eyes and lost consciousness.
