Chapter 26

Rebecca heaved a sigh! She went towards the closet. She took out a bag from it, she went towards the study table. Rebecca grabbed a key from her bag. She unlocked the locker of the study table and then took out some papers. Rebecca looked at the content of the paper, she sat on the chair and then signed the papers. Rebecca took out her phone. She texted Julie, that; she is going out of the pack with Crysler.
Rebecca then dialled Simon's number. He picked it up.
"Hello, Yes, Simon. I am heading out with Crysler. Where are you at?" She asked.
"Ahan, okay. It's fine." She heard him say something from the other side.
"Yes, I want you to take the release papers from my room. Send a copy to the elders. So, they will know about my decision." Rebecca said.
"Yes, I have signed them, we can get Simara out of the cellar." She said then hummed. After that, she said goodbye and ended the call.
On the other hand, Crysler dialled Lucy.
"Lucy, I will be in town in an hour and a half. Be right there..." He said.
"Okay, I will be there..." She said than ended the call.
Rebecca shoved her phone and keys into the bag. She finally moved out of the room. She walked out of the pack house to see him waiting for her sitting in the car. Rebecca slid inside her black Porsche Cayenne. Crysler kissed her on the cheek. It startled her, but she smiled, Crysler started driving towards the town.
Rebecca is sitting quietly watching outside the window. She is enjoying the view of the deep beautiful forest on both sides of the road. It feels so good coming out of the pack after months. They both are still in the pack territory. But out from the woods.
Crysler is driving the car with his full concentration on the road. Rebecca is not happy with it because she wants his attention. Crysler doesn't want to mess up anything. As he is going to meet Lucy. He doesn't want Rebecca's scent to linger on his body. Lucy will lost it. He can not afford it because he wants information from her, he doesn't want to give the impression to Lucy that; he did something with Rebecca.
"Crysler, you are so quiet?" Rebecca asked.
"It feels strange to go out like this..." He said. But his eyes were on the road. He didn't look towards her, she internally cursed. Rebecca wants her attention and he is avoiding looking at her, she is looking so beautiful. Crysler might lose control of his feelings. She turned her face to look towards him.
"Strange, why?" She asked. He smirked.
"I am going out shopping with my mate. Trust me, these were not my plans. I never thought I will be doing anything like this ever..." Crysler said.
"So, what were your plans?" Rebecca said. Crysler cleared his throat.
"I had something in mind. I will tell you at some point. It's not the right time, I don't want to spoil the chill mood." He said. Crysler gave her a brief look than his eyes back on the road. Rebecca hummed.
"Crysler, it feels so good to come out of the pack. I don't remember when I last visited the town. I spent most of my time looking after the pack and solving problems. I have forgotten all the charms of living freely." She said. Crysler looked at her face, his heart clenched at the sight of distress in her eyes. She is so young for all these responsibilities. But she didn't give up. Rebecca has sacrificed all the fun and joy of her life to fulfil her duty. AND these little things make Crysler fall in love with her more and more...
He grabbed her hand igniting the sparks in her body. She looked at him.
"Rebecca, you don't have to be so harsh on yourself. I can understand all the burden on you. But you also need some break from it. AND, now I am with you. I am standing beside you in all the dilemmas. Rebecca, I promise to you. We will do it together." Crysler said with a smile on his face.
Rebecca hummed. Rebecca feels very secure with him. As if he is there no one can even lay a finger on her. A feeling of reassurance is what she needed the most in her life. AND she found it in Crysler. She thought to tell him about the warning from Zach. But, she didn't say anything because she doesn't want to ruin the mood. AND the moment is not right, but she will tell him eventually. Rebecca knows his reaction will be bad.
"Crysler, I am happy. Once you will be a member of my pack and get along with the pack members. It is the best thing that will happen to me in all these years. I will tell them that I found my mate. It will be so amazing." Rebecca said. Crysler smiled. He grabbed her hand taking it to his lips and kissing her palm.
"Rebecca, I am happy for both of us. I promise you will forget the bad memories of your past soon..." He said. Rebecca nodded her head. She knew he is talking about Zach. She then again started looking outside the window.
Crysler didn't disturb her thoughts. He diverted all his attention to driving the car. They both come out from the pack territory to a residential area.
The area is open for anyone; because it is a no pack or human territory. So it is open to all supernatural beings. The people living in this town know about the supernatural beings living in the forests surrounding this town.
But everyone is living peacefully. A treaty is held between the town and packs to not harm anyone. So it is a peaceful territory open to everyone.
Marcus drove the car towards the last restaurant in line. It is a fancy one with a big logo of BREAKFAST BURRITO'S. He stopped the car in front of it.
"Rebecca, it is one of my favourite restaurants for breakfast. I love the taste of the delicious pancakes. I hope you like it too." He said then get out of the car. Crysler walks out of the car towards her side then opened the door for Rebecca. He held forward his hand. She grabbed his hand then came out of the car.
Rebecca is admiring the view around, suddenly her eyes fall upon a man standing behind Marcus. Rebecca's body went rigid. Her eyes stuck on the man. Zach is watching both of them, he is standing far away. His eyes fall upon her eyes. Zach is looking very furious.
Rebecca can feel his eyes staring directly into her soul. A wave of fear rushed inside her body. The hate and anger are evident in Zach's eyes.
Rebecca saw the red in his eyes. Why is he mad? She noticed his stare on her hand that is held by Marcus. She gulped trying to leave Crysler's hand. But he held her hand tightly. Crysler's eyes are glinting with another expression. He put his hand on her back making her body close. Rebecca's face went pale. She wants to hide to run from Zach's death glares. But she has not any place to go. Crysler hasn't seen Zach yet. AND Rebecca doesn't him to see Zach. Crysler didn't notice the colour of fear run along her face. She made her composure back to normal.
Zach is here. Her mind starts buzzing. She has to be very careful with Crysler. She doesn't want to create any scene. She doesn't want Zach to do any stupid moves or to fight with Crysler.
They both entered the restaurant. A man greeted Crysler.
"Crysler Dark, Welcome, Welcome, you come after so many days. May I ask who is the beautiful lady beside you?" An old man moves out from the counter. A smile on his face.
"Thank you, Moroni. Yeah, She is Rebecca. Luna of the Royal Moon Pack. She is my mate." Crysler introduced.
"Rebecca, he is the owner of this restaurant. Moroni is the best cook in this town." Crysler said shaking hands with him. Moroni smiled and then shook hands with Rebecca.
"Welcome, Luna. I am happy to see both of you. You both look good together!" The old man said smiling. She smiled back. He motioned them to sit at one of the tables.
Crysler walk ahead, and she started following him. He let her sit, then he took a seat. He is sitting opposite her, Rebecca's face is towards the glass wall. Crysler's back is towards the wall.
Rebecca peeks outside the glass wall. She gulped looking at a smirking Zach standing near their car. His eyes are fixed on Rebecca.
