Chapter 37

Rebecca is still in shock. The fighting around her, the chaos and the havoc didn't get her out of the impact of this news. She just heard everything from Lucy. The mystery of Crysler Dark is unfolding slowly. Rebecca never felt fear from him, Crysler always protected her, he was there for her, and he couldn't see the tears in her eyes. But she didn't understand him.
Rebecca could believe a person like Zach. But she couldn't have a little faith in her mate. She was not able to see his truth. AND now hearing it from someone else, she is feeling regret.
Crysler tried to make her understand that he is there for her, that no one can harm Rebecca, but he didn't trust him.
Rebecca put him through so much pain. He is on the verge of death because of her, She didn't realise when she started crying. Now, he is in the hospital fighting for his life because of Rebecca. Rebecca heard a cry of a plea, she turned around to see one of the wolf warriors from his pack crying in pain.
"I have to be strong. I can not let my commanders die because of me. Rebecca, get a grip on your emotions." She reminded herself that she is in the middle of a battle. Rebecca ran towards the warrior. She killed the rogue wolf that was going to attack him.
"Thank you, Luna!" The boy said.
"You are injured, go of the battle." She instructed him then turn around to see Wolf Alpha and Lucy fighting in their wolf forms.
"I have the chance to fight him, I will not lose this battle." Rebecca thought, she ran towards both of them.
Wolf Alpha is so strong, that Lucy can not handle him alone. She has to help him. Rebecca came to a halt when she reached near them. Wolf Alpha felt the presence of someone, Lucy also felt it. Their fight stopped.
Both of the wolves shifted back to their human self. Rebecca is glaring at the man.
"How dare you attack my pack?" She growled. Her eyes glowed goldenly then turned red.
"So you are the infamous Luna of this biggest territory! I like your pretty face. I wonder what a little wolf-like you can do against me?" Wolf Alpha laughed.
"A little wolf like me is enough to rip your head apart from your neck," Rebecca said with disgust.
"Oh, so daring, you bitches can not do anything against me. I have killed so many like you in the blink of an eye. What is so special about you?" Wolf Alpha cursed.
"Rebecca, what are you doing here? Get out from here." Lucy shouted. Rebecca turned her eyes towards Lucy.
"I will not run away from the battle. I will kill this bastard, tonight will be the end of his disgusting life." She growled.
"Rebecca, you can not fight him. He will kill both of us. Go away..." Lucy shouted. She was already tired from battling Wolf Alpha. But Rebecca didn't hear any of Lucy's words. Rebecca shifted into her wolf. She didn't wait another second and charged on Wolf Alpha.
The man shifted into his wolf in a second, he dodged Rebecca's attack very smoothly and then counterattacked. His paws dig into Rebecca's rib, she howled in pain. But before he can do any more damage, Lucy also attacked him. She was successful in it.
Lucy bit his hind leg, and he growled and kicked her away. Lucy's back hit a log and she dropped down to the ground. She is injured. Rebecca saw it.
Wolf Alpha then again focused on Rebecca. She is back on her legs, the blood coming out from her wound. He attacked her again, and she dodged it. Rebecca's paws dig into the side of Wolf Alpha. The wound was deep and he back away.
"You bitch!" He cursed and then ran towards Rebecca. He bit her leg, and Rebecca's wolf fall to the ground. His speed was so much that Rebecca was not able to back off. His paw is now placed on her neck, his red eyes turning black.
Rebecca can feel the pressure on her throat, he is trying to stop her breathing. She can not breathe. His nails dug into her throat, the blood come out from her skin. All the strength from her body vanished away, she shifted back to her human self. Rebecca is coughing blood, she tried to get away from Wolf Alpha.
But the man also shifted back to the human, he grabbed Rebecca by the throat and pulled her up from the ground. Lucy saw this, she get back on her feet. She was going to attack him, but he turned around.
"One step towards me, and I will end her life." He warned. Lucy knew he is not warning her, but he will do it. So, she stopped.
Wolf Alpha then looked toward Rebecca, her eyes getting watery, and her vision getting blurry.
"Look at me. I am your death. I told you, I have killed the naive like you in the blink of an eye. I came here for Crysler, not for you. But if you will get in my way. I will destroy you." He snarled near her face.
"I am itching to kill you. But beauty like you, I can not let you die, not until I get what I want from you." He laughed looking at Rebecca with his nasty eyes. Rebecca felt a shiver run down her spine.
"Leave me." She said it with difficulty. He smirked and then turned around towards Lucy.
"Now, Now, where is your Crysler? The saviour of both of you, where is he hiding? Is he scared of me?" Wolf Alpha said then laughed loudly.
Rebecca is in his grip. He is clutching her from her shoulders, and the silver knife is pointed toward his throat.
"Why is he not here? Is he not gonna kill me or save this girl?" He laughed.
"I am here." A voice came from the back of Wolf Alpha.
