Chapter 55

Crysler is fallen to the ground near the cliff. The light of the full moon is falling on both of them, it is creating a song of sadness around them. She is looking at his body losing the light of life. Rebecca is feeling as if not only he will die. But she will never be able to live again... It is getting difficult to breathe.
Everything around the woods is crying the same sad song. AND Rebecca is feeling as if she didn't wound him. But herself. This pain is worse than anything she ever felt in her life.
Crysler's eyes stuck on her face. He is taking slow breaths. She is standing beside his body. Rebecca didn't know when or why? But she is crying. Her hand is red with his blood. His body is all teared up and blood is oozing from his mouth. A darker patch is formed on his mask. He moved his hand and asked her to come close to him. AND Rebecca dropped to the ground beside him.
"Reb..ca, remo.ve my..mask.." He coughed. She cried. Her hands and body shaking.
"I..wa.nt..you, t..o, rem..em..be.rr me..." He said it with difficulty. Rebecca whimpered with her shaking hands. She removed his mask. AND Every moment she spent with him come rushing back with his handsome face in it. A smile came upon Crysler's lips. Rebecca grabbed his hand. His face and his eyes!!! The pain in his eyes and the love in his heart. What has she done? How can she do it?
"Crysler, I am...so..sorry." Rebecca's voice is shaking. Her tears fell upon his hand.
"Don't cry..." He shook his head.
"Crysler, I can not see you like it. Please, Crysler. I am..sorry." Rebecca's face is wet with tears. The pain is too much! His grip tightens on her hand.
"Com..e clo..se.." He whispered then coughed again. She moved close to him. He murmured in her ear. His voice is so low.
"I am not dead yet! I want you to kill me. Please, end my life. It's a request, I don't want you to leave me alive. Please, do it. Prove your worth to me. Don't be a weak wolf." Crysler said. Rebecca gulped. She moved away from him and then saw his face. A smirk formed on it.
"Do it!" He said. She shook her head in a NO manner.
"No, I can not..." She cried.
"Rebecca, don't be..a..fool..You..can..no.tt,leav..e your..riv..al alive." He again said with difficulty. Crysler gulped. She gasped.
"I said do it, you stupid girl. How can you be so dumb and be weak at this moment." He shouted and growled. She backed away from him. But all of her feelings rushed apart hearing him.
"Yes, please..." He requested and closed his eyes.
Rebecca was going to do it. Her nails came out and it would have been the last attack on him when someone shouted from her back.
"Rebecca, stop!!!" She immediately stopped as she was waiting for someone to say it.
"Don't do it..." Simara shouted. Rebecca moved away from Crysler. She turned to look towards Simara. The girl was crying.
Rebecca ran towards her, without thinking she hugged her tightly. She started crying like a child. Simara was also crying like Rebecca.
"He doesn't consider us as loved ones... No, Rebecca. We don't mean anything to him if he loved us and cared for us. He wouldn't have done this..." Simara said. She grabbed Rebecca from her shoulders. Both the girls are looking toward Crysler. Rebecca saw Simon and Lucy also coming toward them. They both stopped looking at Crysler's body.
"Simara, I will die. I can not see him like this, I can not do it. I can not kill him. My heart will not be able to tolerate it." Rebecca sat on the ground.
"Why did he do this to me? Why? Why did he make me hate him? Why does he want me to kill him?" She is shouting in pain and agony.
"Please, tell me..." She begged.
AND Simara can not see her like this... She looked toward Simon.
"I can not keep my promise. I don't care if he will kill me later. But I can not see him die not like this... I have to tell Rebecca." Simara is crying. Simon shook his head in a no manner. But Simara looked away, she wiped her tears. She sat beside Rebecca and grabbed her hands.
"Rebecca, it is not your fault. He plan it a long time ago..." Simara said. AND Rebecca's eyes stuck on Crysler's body.
"What?" She mouthed it after many minutes.
"Yes, Luna Moon. My brother did it all for you and your pack." Simara's eyes again welled up with tears. Rebecca's body was frozen in her place.
'What is she saying? What is going on?' Rebecca is shocked.
"Rebecca, you remember when he promised you that he will keep you safe even if it costs his life, he always keeps his promises," Simara said. She nodded her head. All of her words and senses are lost. She wanted answers and she didn't know if she will be able to hear the truth or not...
"What are you saying?" Rebecca's eyes widen with shock. Her hands shaking.
"Rebecca, he loves you so much! You are his mate. AND He never betrayed you or cheated on you. My brother was always like it. A true hero who helped many people around him. But his good side is hidden from everyone. His sister was not aware of any of it. He helps everyone around him and he cares so much!!! But he doesn't want to be the hero of any of it. Crysler never wanted praise, glory or honour for any of it. So when it came to his love and his mate." Simara cried.
"Crysler saved your life," Simara said. AND Rebecca felt her heart stop.
"Rebecca, you didn't know about his real identity. But have you ever felt any threat or harm from him?" She asked. Rebecca cried and shook her head in a no manner.
"AND when you get to know his real identity. The night you tried to break the mate bond with my brother. He also felt the same pain." Simara said. Rebecca remembers it clearly.
"It was an effort to kill my brother. But Crysler has a very powerful wolf and he is stronger than the pack elders thought about him. He was at the border helping Simon to strategize for the upcoming attack." Simara took a deep breath.
Simon came and stopped beside both girls.
"Alpha felt your pain through the mate bond. I saw his condition and immediately knew that something is wrong. He asked me what is going on? AND I told him what you are planning to do. He was not worried about his pain. But he was worried for you, Rebecca. When your father reached you, it was too late. The bond was broken and you were on the verge of death." Simon said.
"Crysler sent me to find you at any cost and bring you to him. I sent him to the hospital looking at his terrible condition. AND I was going out when I saw your father brought you in. I rushed to Jacob and told him everything. So, without even wasting a second, we brought you to Crysler." Simon took a breath. Rebecca's eyes fixed on his face, all of her senses focused on him as she doesn't want to miss a single word.
"Moon, you were taking your last breaths. Crysler cried. I never have seen him so weak and so broken."

"Simon, what has she done to herself?" Crysler cried.
"Rebecca, please come back to me." He is touching her face. Her hands and body are getting colder.
"I can not see her like this... I want her back. I want to save her, please help me." He is holding Rebecca's body in his arms and crying.
"I can save her, Yes, I can do it," Crysler said. He looked at Simon with red eyes.
"Simon, I will give her all of my power. I will give her every bit of it. I know, she will heal with my wolf powers." Crysler said. AND Simon's eyes widen with shock and fear.
"But Crysler, you will lose your wolf powers. We don't know if it will work out or not..." Simon shook his head in a no manner.
"I don't care about my power. I don't care about anything, I just want her back. I want her safe and alive." He cried.
"But Crysler..." Simon was going to stop him. But before that, he bit Rebecca's neck holding her close. After giving all of his power to Rebecca. He kissed her forehead.
"Crysler, what have you done?" Simon shouted. But he halted when he saw Rebecca's body getting normal. Her breathing was normal and the colour came back to her face. A smile came upon Crysler's face.
"I told you, she will be fine... Don't tell anyone about it." He said. AND that was his last words. He lost consciousness.

"Rebecca, he gave all of his powers to you. Crysler gave all of his wolf powers to heal you. This is why after that big incident you felt stable. He saved your life, but his life and power were reduced. The doctor said Crysler didn't have much time more or less six to eight months of his life." Simon looked towards her pale face.
"He was going to die. But still, he wanted you to be powerful enough to handle yourself without him or any help. He was worried about the attack on the pack. Crysler wanted you to be safe. His plan worked well. But..." Simon again stopped.

Throwback
After they won the war. Rebecca's body was laid on the ground. Simon and Julie were still in shock. Everyone is gone. He is now the Alpha of this pack. He went towards Rebecca's body and then sit beside her.
"Crysler, what have you done? You killed her!!! How can you do that?" Simon came towards him. He grabbed him from the collar and then made him look into his eyes.
"Why?" He shouted.
"No, I haven't... I can not even think about it." Crysler said then pointed towards Rebecca's body. Simon saw her taking breaths. Julie came towards both of them, she grabbed Simon's hands.
"Luna Moon is fine. Simon, Crysler is our Alpha. You can not disrespect him." She said then looked towards Crysler in a questioning manner.
"What have you done to Rebecca?" She asked.
"Julie, If you saw your mate in the hands of death. What will you do?" He asked Julie. She felt so lost, her eyes looked toward Simon. She can not even think to live without him.
"I felt the same when I saw Rebecca in Wolf Alpha's death grip if I wouldn't have come on time. He would have killed her, and Rebecca is still not aware of her powers. She can not control it or fight with it. I wanted to see her strength that's why I attacked her and asked her to fight with me." Crysler again sat on the ground and grabbed her hand.
"I felt as if I will die immediately if anything happened to Rebecca. I have decided at that very moment, that; I have to make her strong. Every time I would not be around to save her, so I want her to be strong enough to fight any opponent and save herself and her pack. I don't want her to lose any fight ever again..." Crysler looked towards both of them.
"It is not necessary that a male always protects his female. Yes, he stands behind her to watch her back, but it is good to make her strong enough so she can protect herself without any difficulty. My little mate is a naive girl. But, I know she can gain her full strength with my power inside her. She just has to learn to control it." Crysler took a deep breath.
"Love and Hate. These are two very powerful emotions. They can make you strong and weak. My mate is filled with love. AND If she will go like it, she will never be able to achieve her true strength. I gained my powers with revenge and hate. A person filled with so much love can never truly hate someone... But it is necessary for Rebecca." Crysler has thought everything thoroughly.
"I know, I don't have any right to make her life decision. But it is for her good. I can trust both of you because you know my condition. Don't tell her anything about me. I had the power to seize memories. I didn't harm her but messed up with her memories. So, when she gets them back, her hatred toward me will unlock her power. AND she will be able to control my wolf powers. I know I will die, but after I am gone. Rebecca will be strong enough to stand up for all of you, and this pack will be safe. AND in her capable hands." Crysler ended his speech. Both of them were crying. Crysler smiled sadly and then instructed Simon to do what he ordered.
"One day, Rebecca will come and fight me. She will end my life. AND I want it. I don't want to die because of my failing health. But I want to die by her hands. I want to die in her arms." He smiled.
"Rebecca, I love you so much! AND I always will love you. Goodbye." Crysler said when he saw Simon taking her away from him.

"Yes, Rebecca. It is his truth." Simon is also crying. Rebecca looked towards Crysler's body.
"No, he can not do this to me. No, Crysler..." She shouted. Rebecca ran towards him.
"Crysler..." She falls to the ground beside him. She grabbed his hands and then took them to her lips.
"Crysler, what have you done? How can you love m so much!!! How can someone love this much! Crysler, please, don't leave me. Crysler, open your eyes or I will die. Crysler, I promise you If anything happened to you. I will end my life. Crysler, answer me." Rebecca wailed. Her loss is too big, If tonight she will lose this man. She will lose everything... Nothing in this world will matter anymore for Rebecca.
"Crysler, please, I beg you. Please, open your eyes. please, look at me. Just once, please..." She put her head over his chest. Her tears fell over his heart.
"Hmm!" He hummed slowly. Rebecca straighten up, she grabbed his face in both her hands.
"Crysler!!!" She said. He opened his eyes very slowly and looked towards her...
"Is this a dream or am I dead?" He asked.
"No, I am not letting you go anywhere..." She said wiping her tears.
"You have to be alright, Crysler, you have to come back to me. I want you for me." Rebecca said then put her lips on his.
"I will do the same as you did for me, AND I also don't care if I will die because of it." She whispered in his ear.
Rebecca put her lips on his neck then kissed his flesh and without thinking for another second, she bit his neck. She closed her eyes and a lone tear dropped on the bite mark. Rebecca also felt dizziness and she dropped over his body. They both closed their eyes and fall into darkness.
