Chapter 50

Rebecca is exhausted. She is all sweaty and she is taking deep breaths. One arm is behind her back, and the other is sore doing the pushups. She is feeling the jolts of pain in her arm. She glared at him. He is sitting on a big rock staring at her with all his interest. She is feeling his eyes on her body all the time, and the shine in his eyes. She can determine that he is smirking.
"One hundred ninety-two..." Rebecca huffed.
"Okay, that's good. You can get back up now..." He ordered. Rebecca felt relieved. If there would be another pushup, she would have collapsed. Rebecca placed her other hand on the ground and got back up on her feet.
He jumped down from the rock and then came towards her, he stopped in front of Rebecca. His eyes watching her face. He moved his hand closer to her face and tuck a wild strand of hair behind her ear.
"Don't be late again... Next time, I will not be so easy on you." He warned. She took a deep breath and nodded her head. At first, she didn't pay attention to him, but now when he is standing close to her, she lost a heartbeat.
'This man is so damn hot!' She licked her bottom lip.
He is wearing a sleeveless gym hoodie, black shorts and shoes. His face is hidden in the mask. He has a very muscular body, his hoodie hugging his chest, his biceps all on display and his strong toned legs are proof that he trains regularly. His strong hands played with her hair gently.
Rebecca gulped.
"Like what you see, baby?" He chuckled. Rebecca looked away, a blush came upon her face. He came a little closer to her face and then whispered in her ear.
"I don't mind you. It's my pleasure!" He said. AND she pushed him away.
"Can we please start the training?" She asked. He laughed then nodded his head.
"Okay!" He said.
"So, what do I have to do now?" She asked. Her muscle pain faded away slowly.
"You have to catch me but there is a twist in this training." He said.
"What?" She asked surprised.
"Yes, you have to catch me in time, that will be three hours. If you will succeed in it. I will give you the answers to any three questions, it can help you with your memories." He said. Rebecca nodded her head.
"I think I can catch you in twenty minutes..." She smirked.
"Ah, that we will see, if you did that, I will bring you back to your pack." He said. A hopeful smile came upon her face.
"If you will catch me, or touch me." He said with utter confidence in his tone.
"Okay, let's start. We can not go away or out of this place. So, this whole place is the perimeter of me running and you catch me." He instructed.
"Okay, that made the job very easy for me." She laughed.
"Let's start..." He said. Before Rebecca can even move. He was far away from her, she didn't catch his speed.
'He is too fast!' She took a breath and then focused all of her senses on him.
The chase started. Rebecca was so sure of her speed. But now when he is trying to catch him. It seems as if she is not as fast as she thinks... She can not even see him moving or changing his place. At one point she thought she caught him, but he was so sleek that he got away.
"Damn, that was close." He laughed.
"You are good but not good enough, baby!" He mocked her, and she glared at him.
"I am trying and I will catch you," Rebecca stated.
"It's been an hour, Baby, at least touch me once..." He chuckled.
She growled. Her eyes turned golden. She ran towards him once again, but he moved past her and went into the hidden cave.
"Oh, that was a mistake. You are cornered." Rebecca smirked. It is her chance can catch him. Rebecca followed him inside the cave, but he was not in there...
'But I saw him getting inside.' She thought.
"Looking for me!" She heard his deep voice from outside. Rebecca came out to find him sitting on the same huge rock.
"I think, you need a break." He taunted. Rebecca is breathing heavily.
"No, I don't need a break." She said then again ran towards him. The chase went on for three hours, but she was not able to touch him once. AND it was so frustrating.
"Times up!" He stood behind her and said in her ear. She looked so mad at herself.
Rebecca turned around to face him, she looked into his eyes. She punched his chest many times. He didn't go away or stopped her, she pouted.
"This is not fair!" Rebecca's eyes welled up with tears.
"Baby, that's not fair with me." He hugged her, and start caressing her back to calm her down.
"I can not see you crying. These eyes are very precious to me. I don't want to see a single tear in them..." His hold tightens on her body. He kissed her forehead. At that very moment, Rebecca realised that she can trust this man with her heart. She closed her eyes and hugged him back. She felt at peace.
"I thought I was the fastest wolf on the continent." She murmured in his chest. She can hear his heart beating fast.
"You are the fastest wolf on the continent, just not fast enough to catch me. AND I want you to do it. I know you can do it." He said. He believes in her and it gave her new strength.
"You think I can do it?" She asked. He nodded his head.
"Yes!" He said. Rebecca moved a little away from his body looking into his eyes to find only truth and sincerity.
"But you will not give any answers to me?" She looked so sad. He chuckled.
"Oh, You have tried very hard. AND you were exhausted before doing all the pushups. Otherwise, you would have done better. So, I will give you one answer. Ask anything you want." He said. A very cute smile came upon her face.
"DARK!" She said. He felt as if his guts dropped.
"What?" His eyes widen with fear and confusion. His pupil dilated, and Rebecca saw a flick of gold in his eyes.
"This is the only thing, I remembered thinking about my past," Rebecca explained. He felt relieved.
"Oh!" He said.
"Can you tell me anything about it? What is it? Is it a thing or related to some place... can not connect it to anything." She looks so confused.
"Okay, It can be a name." He said. AND Rebecca felt as he gave him the light to find this DARK.
"Oh, Right. I haven't thought about it like that, thank you!" She said in excitement and jumped towards him. He caught her body and holds her close to him.
"haha, I like the way you are thanking me." His naughty words made her blush. She tried to move away but he didn't let her go. "I told you not to wear anything to distract me." He whispered. AND she gulped. They both are standing near the stream of water. He grabbed her hand and pulled her into the water with him. Rebecca was not ready for it. AND she shouted.
"What the hell?" But he was laughing loudly and splashing the water at her, she did the same with him.
He came close to her and grabbed her waist. Their bodies half merged in the water.
"Just to let you know how I am feeling right now looking at you in these clothes." He said and pressed his body against her core. Rebecca gasped feeling his bulge touching her, she closed her eyes. The feeling that she wants her ignited a fire in her body.
AND after a moment, she felt his lips on her wanting lips.
"Don't open your eyes!" He said. AND she didn't open them. He kissed her for so many minutes and then moved away. The passion was evident in his touch.
"I will see you soon, baby! Take care." He whispered in her ear. AND when Rebecca opened her eyes. He was nowhere to be seen.
