Chapter 38

"I am here," Wolf Alpha heard him. He turned around with Rebecca in his grasp. Crysler was standing behind him with a strong look on his face. His glowing eyes went stony when he saw Rebecca's condition. The scratches and wounds on her face and body. The dried blood on her shin and neck. Her shirt is blooded from one side of her stomach, and the knife is pointed toward her throat.
Rebecca looked towards his face, her eyes scanning Crysler. He is fine. He is alive. Relief washed over her body. This is not a dream. Crysler is here, now no one can harm Rebecca. He will not let anyone hurt her, only looking at him is giving her a feeling of protection. He didn't look into her eyes. Rebecca can sense, that he is still in pain.
Crysler clutched his hands in fists, he closed his eyes then took a deep breath, opened his eyes again, and then look towards Wolf Alpha. Crysler is trying to control his rage. If he will act hastily, it can go bad for Rebecca.
"Crysler, oh, so finally, you are here. I thought you ran off or you will not come out to face me." Wolf Alpha said giving him a good look. A shiver ran down his spine when he saw Crysler's eyes turning red.
"What is the hurry? I think we should talk a little, I get to know very interesting things about you from Lucy." Wolf Alpha said then smirked. Crysler looked towards Lucy, she is injured and tired.
"Lucy, are you fine?" He questioned. She shifted back to her human self. There are wounds all over her body, but she is healing fast. Crysler has ties with her, so he can feel it.
"Yes, Crysler, I am fine." She said. Rebecca saw him looking at her, he looks so concerned about Lucy.
"So, you were doing all of the planning behind my back, I thought, Lucy was working for me. But no she was on your side forever. I admit you are very smart." Wolf Alpha said.
"Lucy was always with me because she trusts me, and she loves me. She has promised to be on my side forever. But the reason behind her betrayal of you is the fact that you killed her parents. AND you destroyed her pack as you did with me." Crysler's voice was so firm without any fear.
"I never thought my one mistake will do me such trouble. I would have killed that little boy in that little pack. So, It wouldn't have been such trouble for me. Crysler, you gave me a lesson, next time, I will not leave a single a children alive." Wolf Alpha snarled. His grip tightens on Rebecca's shoulders. Crysler felt his heart lose a beat, he can not let Wolf Alpha do any more harm to his mate.
"That we will see..." Crysler smirked.
"How did you do that? You killed all of my rogues in the packs! It is not possible. You can not take away my power from me." Wolf Alpha is now panicking.
"It was so easy. Those bastards didn't have their eyes open for me. AND I wiped them out in the blink of an eye. I am so happy that I made a very fierce reputation. My name was enough for them to start shaking and panicking. Those packs are free from the grasp of a monster like you." Crysler said then chuckled.
"But I received the reports that everything was going smoothly..." Wolf Alpha said.
"All those reports that were sent to you. It was my work. Lucy helped a lot!" He smiled and then look toward Lucy.
"I was not able to save my pack and my parents. But I saved all of the others that were going to get destroyed by you. You were a little careless, and that was your biggest mistake." Crysler said.
"When I came into your pack. You would have interrogated me a little more... But it's too late now, I am here. AND tonight this will be a fair fight. Let's see your true power." Crysler laughed and then start coming toward him.
"Stay away, you stay away from me or I will kill her." Wolf Alpha warned.
"You were always a coward. First, you hid behind Lucy so you can defeat me. Now, this girl. I don't care about her, you can kill her, but it will not change your fate. I will kill you." Crysler growled. AND his words felt like someone putting a dagger through Rebecca's heart. Her eyes start burning, and her vision gets blurred. She looked towards Crysler.
'He doesn't care about me!!!' She cried. The tears fell on her cheeks. Crysler can feel her pain, every tear of his mate is falling over his chest. But he can not let Wolf Alpha know that Rebecca is his mate or he can use it against Crysler.
"Haha, you think, I am a fool?" Wolf Alpha laughed manically.
"I know this girl is your mate." Wolf Alpha smirked. But the expression on Crysler's face didn't change.
"So, what?" He retorted.
"What do you mean by that?" Wolf Alpha sounds surprised.
"Yes, she was my mate. But last night, she broke the mate bond. AND I also broke it." Crysler dropped the bomb on both Wolf Alpha and Rebecca's heads. Her eyes widen with shock and disbelief.
"But how can you be alive after it?" The shaky voice came out of Wolf Alpha's mouth. Crysler just smirked.
"I have enough strength to endure any type of pain. It was nothing, other than that, I never had any feelings for this girl. I always loved Lucy. AND I still love her so much! She is the only person that I care about in this entire world. I just used her to get into this pack, so I can get this territory and fight with you." Crysler laughed. His eyes now totally changed into black, and his aura is darker than before. He then said.
"The fight is between both of us, so we should hurry. Let her go and fight me." Crysler pointed towards Rebecca. For the first time, he looked into her eyes. He saw the effects of heartbreak, the immeasurable amount of pain in her eyes. He looked away, he can not get weak. Not now, Wolf Alpha saw Crysler's attention diverted. He threw away Rebecca and ran towards Lucy. But it was too late.
Crysler Dark was faster than any wolf. Before Wolf Alpha can get his hands on Lucy. Crysler grabbed his arms, and break his bone. A howl of pain erupts in the wild.
"Hands off!" He warned.
