Chapter 35

Rebecca opened her eyes. She saw her father standing in front of her, she slowly turned her head to find herself in the hospital room. She is in a hospital bed! Her senses are working properly.
"Dad!" She mumbled. Her father nodded his head.
"Rebecca, how are you feeling?" He asked. Rebecca put a little pressure on her head. She is feeling barren as if something from her insides has been empty. She is not feeling any pain in her body, just a very heavy feeling as she wants to cry.
She tried to get up. Her father helped her sit on the bed.
"Dad, I am fine, how did I get here?" She asked.
"I came at the right time and brought you here, Rebecca, are you alright?" Her father asked her once again. She closed her eyes but nodded her head. A weak and sad smile came upon his face.
"Rebecca, what were you thinking doing that? I told you not to do anything foolish." He sounds concerned and disappointed.
"Dad, I didn't know, I thought it was the right thing to do, where is Crysler?" Rebecca asked. her father took a deep breath.
"He is also in the hospital. His condition is not good." Jacob said.
"Dad, was I wrong?" She questioned.
"Yes, Rebecca, you know the ways of the elder wolves. You were the one who was opposing their old ways to handle problems. Rebecca, you wanted to change the pack for good. AND you did what they asked you to do! It would have done no good to you." Jacob said.
"Dad, but Crysler Dark. You know about him, how can I protect my pack from him?" She cried. Jacob grabbed her hands.
"Rebecca, there are many ways to solve this problem. It is no good risking your life. You are the Luna of this pack if you will die. Who will protect it then? AND About Crysler. I know all about him." Jacob said. There is something in her father's eyes that she didn't understand. Rebecca looked at her father in wonder.
"But there is another problem. The pack is going to be under attack in a few more hours. The Alpha of the Shadow Moon Pack is going to take your territory from you. I told you to do the precautions, did you do it?" Jacob questioned. His words dropped the bomb on Rebecca's head.
"In a few hours?" Her face went into shock.
"Yes, Rebecca. There are only a few hours left to strategize everything..." Jacob was cut in midstance.
"I was out for?" She questioned.
"You were out for a whole night and half-day." He informed Rebecca.
"OMG! Dad, what will I do now?" She panicked.
"Rebecca, don't panic. Where are you, comrades?" Jacob asked.
"Yes, can you please call Julie and Simon," She requested? Jacob nodded his head.
"Okay, pack doctor said you are fine. AND You can go home. I think it's better if we leave from here." Her father said. She nodded her head. But the thought again crossed her mind.
"What about Crysler?" She again asked.
"Rebecca, don't worry about him. Right now, you have to think about defending the pack. AND fight for it. I am waiting for you outside." Her father patted her back and then left the hospital room.
"But, Crsyler is also involved in this. How can I forget his strategy with that girl? I have to do something about it too." Rebecca thought, she changed and then came out of the hospital room. She saw her father standing with Julie and Simon in the corridor. Rebecca hurried towards them. Julie saw her coming, she ran towards her then hugged Rebecca.
"Luna, are you alright?" She asked. Rebecca hummed.
"Yes, Julie, I am fine." She sadly smiled. Rebecca saw Simon going into another hospital room.
"What's going on?" She asked Julie.
"It's Crysler," Julie said. Rebecca felt her heartbeat dropping.
"What about Crysler?" She asked.
"The Doctors are saying his heart rate is getting weaker. AND his wolf is not responding. His brain is also not working properly. His condition is getting worse." Julie informed her. Rebecca's felt as if someone snatched the ground under her feet. She felt as if she will also die. Rebecca gulped.
"Luna, your plan worked. I don't think in this condition. He can do anything bad. We are safe." Julie whispered in her ears. AND Luna Moon felt as if someone is dipping lava in her ears. It was her plan, she is responsible for his condition. Rebecca's hands curled into fists. She controlled herself, it is not the time to be weak. She has to be strong. After hearing her wolf and his father's reaction to Crysler. Rebecca is certain they know more about Crysler than Rebecca. She saw Simon come out of Crysler's room. She wanted to ask how is he? But she restrained herself. I am the Luna of The Royal Moon Pack. This is her responsibility to protect this pack.
"Okay, Dad, let's go back to the packhouse. Julie and Simon, you are coming with me." She ordered. They both nodded their heads.
All of them head out of the pack hospital. It took a few minutes to reach the packhouse. Rebecca halted in the huge hall. All of them stopped.
"Julie, the first orders from the elders were complete. For now, we don't have to worry about Crysler Dark. Now, tell me, did they give you the plan of defence and counterattack?" Rebecca questioned.d
"No, Luna. They said they will send the plan after they will discuss it and completed it. But we haven't heard anything from the elders." Julie informed him.
"Damn, those old bastards," Jacob growled.
"Rebecca, they will not do it because you are the mate of Crysler. The first thing that came into their head is to get rid of both of you." Her father said.
"Dad, what are you saying?" She asked.
"You don't know them, okay, I don't have time to tell you everything, right now, time to think of a plan." He said. Rebecca punched the nearby wall. She is feeling so helpless.
"Luna, we have a plan of attack and defence," Simon said. Rebecca looked at him in wonder.
"What, bot how?" She questioned.
"It was Crysler. He came up with the plan. AND I am so sure, it will work out." Simon said.
"But, how can we trust him? You know, who he is..." Rebecca shook her head in a no manner.
"Simon, tell me, what is the plan," Jacob said.
"But, dad," Rebecca said. But he stopped her.
"No, let us hear it." He said. Simon nodded his head.
"Luna, we have already emptied all of the houses. The woman and pups are secured. The borders are secured with extra security on all three sides. Crysler told me the other pack will infiltrate from one side of the borders. And he thinks it will be from south of the pack. Because our defence is weak there, but now we know their strategy. So, we let them think that the security is weak there, and let them infiltrate, but our most skilled warriors and all of us will be hidden there waiting for them to attack. As they will do, we can not only defend but attack at the same time." Simon said and took a breath.
"It is a huge advantage for us. Luna, we have to trust Crsyler here because we don't have another choice or plan." Simon said. Rebecca was still thinking about it.
"Okay, we will act as this plan. Now, let's head out." Jacob said. AND Rebecca looked at her father in disbelief.
"Dad, what if all of this is his plan?" She questioned.
"We have to trust Crysler. He is our only hope." He said then head out of the house.
