Chapter 54

Rebecca remembers everything, every detail about him. All. Of his words and actions. But one thing is blurred in her memory. And it's his face. But Rebecca believes she can recognize him in no time. His scent will be enough to locate him. Her heart is beating fast, and her breath raging. She is close to the pack borders.
"Crysler, tonight, it will be you or me..." She muttered. Rebecca came to a stop. She is standing right in front of her pack. She closed her eyes then opened them again, and without thinking anymore, she came into the pack. A very relieving feeling rushed through her body.
After walking in these lands all her life, she remembers every path like the back of her hand. She turned back into her human form and then start walking towards the pack house. Rebecca looks very calm. There is no feeling in her eyes that show her inner storms. Her face is blank and her eyes focused on the path.
"Why did you do that to me? Crysler, I know I was wrong. I tried to break the mate bond with you. But I did it for my pack. Was that the reason for your hate towards me? Crysler, I was not aware of anything, it was a reckless decision. AND I was guilty of it. But did you punish me for that? Or You plan to end my life." There were hundreds of questions running in her head. She heaved a deep breath and stopped in front of the pack house. Rebecca saw Simon and Lucy sitting on the doorsteps. It feels as if they both were waiting for someone... A fire burned all her insides finding Lucy in here.
When they felt her presence they look upwards towards him.
"Moon?" Simon looked at her in confusion.
"Luna Moon?" Lucy also whispered. They both get back up on their feet.
"I want to see Crysler, call him," Rebecca said. Her voice was void of any emotions.
"Moon, come inside. Are you alright? How did you get here?" Simon asked many questions from her...
"I want to see Crysler, please call him." She again said in the same stubborn tone.
"Okay, Moon. I am calling him. But please come inside the house." Simon said. But she didn't move from her place. It was the cue that she will not go inside. Simon took a deep sigh and then went inside the house.
Simon ran upstairs. He was aware that Rebecca will be here. AND she is here, but now he is scared to inform Crysler. He is worried for his Alpha. He stopped at his office door. Simon gulped, he was going to knock on the door when it opened.
Crysler came out. He looked into Simon's eyes.
"She is here..." Crysler said.
"Yes, Alpha. She is out waiting for you..." He said. Crysler nodded his head.
"Simon, I will not come back alive. Tell me sister that I am gone for good. AND she doesn't have to get worried for me. Simara is now a good person, she always was but her conditions were bad. AND she had to be like that, but she understands everything now. I am happy that she is settled here and working as a nurse. AND tell her that her brother never did anything wrong and he was not a monster. This pack has given me so much love and respect. AND I am so happy that I was the Alpha of this pack. Take care of Julie, I wish, I would have seen your child. But I think destiny has other plans for me." Crysler stated with a beautiful smile. For the first time in all of the months, Simon can see that he also can feel everything, every emotion and every pain. He sounds worried for his sister and all of them...
"But, Alpha..." Simon said. But he shook his head in a no manner.
"Take care, goodbye!" He said then start walking downstairs.
Crysler covered his face with a mask. AND then he came out of the front door to find his beloved.
Rebecca was looking down at her feet, but when she felt his presence. She looked up. AND her world stopped spinning, her eyes stuck on him. Her heart dropped in her chest. She felt so many shivers run down her spine.
No, way. It can not be... How is this possible? How can he be him? Her eyes widen with shock.
"DA!!!" She mouthed. She can see the same glint of glow in his eyes as he is smirking.
"What are you doing here?" Rebecca asked in disbelief.
"So you recognised me?" He chuckled. His sweet tone is the same.
"What is going on?" She shouted. Rebecca came towards him and grabbed him from his collar. Lucy gasped.
"What is going on What are you doing here? Where is him?" She looked into his eyes. She wanted to snatch the mask away from his face. He came close and then whispered in her ear.
"I AM HIM"
Crysler dropped a bomb on her head. AND Rebecca was pushed into a void. A very deep and dark hole from which she can not come out.
He made her hate him and then he made her love him. Love him so much!!! That her hate was nothing in comparison to it. He played with her feelings. Her eyes start to fill with salty water. He is so precious to her but at the same time, she can not stand his presence.
"Why?" She whispered.
"I don't owe you an explanation. I will do what I want..." Crysler's voice echoed in her ears.
"Was it a game for you? Or I was a plaything for you? Why did you do that to me?" She shouted. Rebecca pushed him away.
"I told you. I don't owe you or anyone an explanation of my actions." He mocked her, and she was offended. She was so mad at him for playing with her emotions and feelings.
"Why did you want me to remember everything?" She is crying. Her hands curled in fists.
"Yes, I can give you the answer to it." He nodded his head.
"I don't know how you survived back then, but it was necessary at that time to snatch away your memories. I didn't want a crying girl and a weak wolf in my pack." Crysler said. It aired her the more for him.
"I sent you away. So, you can stay away from this pack. I am the Alpha here. AND you are no competition for me. You never were..." He chuckled.
"I thought you will never remember anything. But Zach told me that you are remembering certain things. So, I thought to help you. So, you can do something about your miserable life. Start a new life maybe, it was out of pity. AND remember that your power is no comparison to me. By the way, what are you doing here?" Crysler asked. Rebecca was crying. He is killing every emotion inside her, he is cutting his heart into millions of pieces. This pain is so worse.
But she has to be strong. So, it's my worth in his eyes. No, Crysler, I am not a weak wolf. Rebecca wiped the tears from her face. She looked directly into his eyes.
"Crysler Dark Alpha of The Royal Moon Pack. I Rebecca Jacob Moon challenge you for the title and position of The leader of this pack." Rebecca challenged him in a steer clear tone. Lucy put a hand over her mouth.
"Rebecca, are you crazy?" Simon shouted from Crysler's back.
"I was a fool. AND I think I was crazy to trust this man. But right now, I am in complete my complete senses. I know what I am saying and doing..." She said looking directly into his eyes. She can feel the smile dancing on his face as he was waiting for it.
"Okay, Rebecca Jacob Moon, I accept your challenge. We need to settle things anyway. Come with me." Crysler said then started walking towards the woods.
"I don't want anyone following us." He ordered. Rebecca wiped her face and then start following him into the woods. Crysler didn't say a single word again to her, he is just walking quietly.
Crysler stopped at a place. She also stopped and her eyes looked around. It is the same place where they meet for the first time, it is where everything started. AND It is where everything will end.
Crysler looked toward her face.
"Remember this place?" He questioned. She didn't answer but her eyes told him.
"So, are you ready? Rebecca, don't hold back or this time you will die." Crysler instructed. AND She smirked.
"Trust me, I will not hold back not until you die. I will show you that I am not a weak wolf. I am worth this position. You said you don't even consider me a threat to you or I am not even worth fighting but, you are wrong." She growled.
AND just like that, Crysler saw her eyes turning gold.
A smile came upon his face.
"Rebecca, I love you!!! AND I always will..." He thought and closed his eyes. When he opened them again, his eyes were shining red. Crysler shifted in his wolf. But Rebecca remains in her human form. His wolf starts circling Rebecca. But she is not afraid of it. The wolf is growling and bearing its teeth.
Rebecca can now switch between Moon and her power. She can balance it. Dark jumped on her, but Rebecca sleekly moved away. They both attacked each other, Crysler dodged her first punch. Rebecca didn't hold back. Every time, he moves away from her, she uses her speed to reach him and attack him.
In the training, he told her how to fight, dodge and move in a real fight. Rebecca was successful to attack him for the first time, she become more strong than before, and the wolf whined. There is a wide scar on the right side of its fur, blood oozing from it.
AND Rebecca felt a pang of hurt in her gut. She gulped and took a few deep breaths. The wolf again attacked her, she dodged it easily. She can feel he is not putting any effort into it. It feels as if he just wants to end it. Rebecca again attacked it, she wounded the wolf many times, and all of its body is injured. The fur is coated with blood, the light of its eyes dimmed. But then he changed back to his human self. In a mere moment, he was standing at her back, Crysler grabbed her wrists and seized her moments.
"That's enough, little mate." He growled in her ear. Rebecca felt a shiver run down her spine.
"I think playtime is over. Now again with the same strategy. Don't miss your chance to kill me or I will kill you. Now Luna Moon attacks me." His voice is deep and strong. He moved away from her and then stand right in front of Rebecca. All of his body is wounded and scratched.
Rebecca took a deep breath. She closed her eyes.
"Moon, I need you to help me. Just one last time, please... I am sorry, but you have to help me kill my mate." She ordered. AND opened her eyes. Rebecca ran towards him, her nails came out. He tried to dodge her attack but she switched position with Moon. AND she attacked him, her claws digging deep into his chest. AND Rebecca heard a whisper.
"Good Work... You finally matched my speed and strength." He said. She moved away from him, and her eyes widened with shock and fear. Crysler dropped to the ground.
