Chapter 45

Jacob grabbed his head into both hands. He sat on the sofa, his head is aching badly. His eyes are red and he is trying to control his wolf powers. The shadows of the past lurk in front of his eyes.

Crysler attacked Rebecca. No one there was expecting it. Jacob felt his heart stop when he saw his daughter collapsing on the ground. The blood coming out from the back of her neck, and she is losing consciousness. Jacob can hear her heartbeat fading away. And the words of Crysler were so clearly heard by everyone... He attacked her to end Rebecca's life. Everyone there was in shock, even the Wolf Alpha was not expecting anything like it. He thought Crysler will not harm his mate.
Now when Crysler ended Rebecca's matter, Wolf Alpha was shaking in fear. His eyes are widen in shock and his body couldn't move. Crysler went and hugged Lucy to celebrate his victory. The territory of the Royal Moon Pack now belongs to Alpha Crysler Dark. Jacob ran towards Rebecca's lifeless body. He can feel her body getting cold.
"Rebecca, Rebecca, open your eyes..." He murmured. But she didn't move or even flick. The tears rolled down Jacob's cheeks. He touched his daughter's face, his hands were shaking, but he can not cry out loud. He never thought at the end of this conflict, he will see his daughter's lifeless body.
Before Wolf Alpha can make any more moves or mess up the situation. Crysler challenged him to a fair fight as they both promised. All of the wolves there have seen the victory of Crysler. They all accepted him as their Alpha. Crysler fought Wolf Alpha bravely, AND everyone there knew the result of the fight already.
Crysler killed Wolf Alpha. He ripped his body apart.
All of the anger, the feelings of revenge and the grief of the deaths of so many innocent people.
Crysler ended all of it by ending the life of Wolf Alpha. That night he becomes a true Alpha. He didn't only win one pack, but he is also the Alpha of Shadow Moon Pack. The most powerful Alpha of this continent.
Jacob already knew the truth about Crysler being killing the rogues and helping the packs with his power. Every Alpha in the continent knew about him and that was the reason no one dared to say anything bad about him. Or do anything against him. Crysler was the only one brave enough to stand up against Wolf Alpha. So, all the other Alpha's respected him and let his position spread as Crysler wanted it to be. His fear was the only thing that kept the rogues nervous and scared of him. His efforts were so great and his hard work paid off. He was able to free all the packs from the rogues. So, the members of those packs marked him as their Alpha. Jacob respected him also, but tonight when he saw him ending his daughter's life. All of his feelings towards Crysler changed.
How can he respect a man that will kill an innocent girl? Yes, she was the luna of the pack. But they would have thought about something to handle this matter. It was not necessary to harm Rebecca. And she was his mate. How can Crysler do it? Jacob was so mad at him.
Crysler ordered the warrior wolves of Shadow Moon Pack to go back to their pack alongside Lucy. He also ordered them to bury the body of Wolf Alpha and spread the news that Crysler Dark is now their Alpha. The Royal Moon Pack members were still in disbelief and shock. They have to accept it. Rebecca is no longer their Luna. And they can not deny the power of Alpha Crysler. So, they accepted the first order given by him.
"I want all the warrior wolves to take the bodies of their lost ones and bury them with respect. The medical team will tend to the wounded ones... Move everyone away from the grounds to the houses and hospital. I don't want anyone to linger here anymore. It's and order." Crysler said in his Alpha tone. And all of them have to obey it. They turned around but then stopped and gave respect to their luna and left.
"Julie and Simon. I want both of you to be here, don't go right away." Crysler said. Julie was crying looking at Rebecca's body. And Simon was holding her in his arms to calm her down. He was also crying.
"Come over here," Crysler said to Julie and Simon. They also came close to Rebecca's body.
Everyone was gone. Jacob was sitting beside Rebecca's body holding her cold hand. Crysler came towards him, he was going to hold Rebecca's hand when Jacob pushed him away.
"You stay away from her. You did this to her, you killed my daughter, she was your mate. How can you do that? You monster!" Jacob shouted. His eyes were red, his hands clutching in fists. Crysler took a deep breath.
"Listen to me," He said. But Jacob growled.
"There is nothing to say anymore... You get out from here. Stay away from her body." Jacob snarled. His wolf is getting out of control.
"Please, Jacob, listen to me or I have to do it without you," Crysler said. But He shook his head. He can not let this man do any more harm to his daughter.
"You will not do anything..." But before Jacob can say anything else. Crysler was standing in front of him, his hand were on Jacob's neck. And he pressed a spot on his neck. After that Jacob doesn't remember anything, it all went dark.
The next day when Jacob opened his eyes. He was in the hospital bed. A nurse was tending to him. And before he can do or say anything. Simon came into his room.
"Jacob, there is a message from the Alpha," Simon said.
"Where is my daughter? What had he done to her?" Jacob questioned.
"Rebecca is fine. He didn't kill Rebecca." Simon said. And Jacob can not believe it.
"What did you say? But she was dead! I checked her body was cold. Her heart stopped! How is this possible?" He was in shock.
"I don't know the details. But Crysler spared her life but took away her memories. The memories of her being the Luna of Royal Moon Pack till last night... And he doesn't want you to tell anything to her, it's an order. If you will not obey it, Alpha will not back away this time and kill Rebecca." Simon gave him the details. And Jacob curled his hands in fists.
"And you bastard! You stood there and heard him say all of it. Did you forget that Rebecca is your friend? Where are your loyalties now? What are you doing?" Jacob roared. Yes, he is relieved that she is alive. But he took away Rebecca's memories, why did he do that? What is going on? This is not fair to Rebecca.
"Yes, Rebecca is my friend. And this is why I am doing this, my loyalties are now with my Alpha. Right now you have to go away from here with Rebecca. And she can not come back until she will get her memories back by herself. So, please for the sake of her life leave this pack." Simon again gave him a whole lecture and then left the room.
Jacob sat there thinking that what is going on? First, he tried to kill Rebecca then he took her memories. And now he is ordering her to leave her own pack.
Crysler Dark, you are no good for my daughter. I will take her away from here. And I will make sure of it that she will not come back here. I will protect Rebecca. And I will not let her remember anything about you. It will be good that way.
After that night, he took Rebecca away from the pack. She was also in the hospital. But moved here secretly so no one in the pack know about her condition. Jacob took Rebecca to the Sunshine Bay Pack. He lives there with his wife and now their daughter will live with her parents.

Jacob opened his eyes. It was all fine, Rebecca was happy here. Yes, she asked questions about her pack. But Jacob avoided talking about the pack and its Alpha. And now suddenly, Rebecca has started to doubt the situation. And her questions and the longing to go back to her pack are getting stronger. And Simon dropped here suddenly, Jacob has to do something to prevent all of it. He can not let Rebecca go back there and put her life again in danger.
