Chapter 30

Rebecca was burning with anger. Her eyes were filling with water. She ran upstairs, Rebecca didn't go into her room. But she went towards her office. She locked the door and sat down with the door. Rebecca grabbed her head in both her hands.
'What have I done? What will I do now?' Her head was pounding. The scene from earlier roaming in front of her eyes. His smirk. The girl with him, everything about him looked evil. And the proofs that Zach showed Rebecca.
'Why was I so blind not to see it? Everyone warned me. All of them did warn me. But, I was a fool to trust him. I have put all of my pack members' lives at risk.' The tears dripped down her cheeks. AND the first thought that popped up in her head was about Simara.
"I have to talk to Simon. I can not let Siamra out from the cellar." Rebecca got up from the ground. She ran towards her desk and then dialled the number of Simon from her office phone.
"Hello, Yes, Simon? Where are you?" She asked.
"I am going to do what you order. I have taken the papers and I am going to release Simara." Simon informed her.
"No, No, don't do it..." Rebecca said. Simon can hear the panic in her voice.
"Rebecca, are you fine? What's going on?" He asked concerned.
"Just don't release Simara. Don't send the papers to elders. Come to my office." She said. Simon heard the fear in her voice.
"Okay, I am coming..." He said than ended the call. Rebecca then dialled Julie's number.
"Julie, where are you?" She asked.
"I am at the border patrol. Where are you? Why do you sound so upset?" She asked.
"I am back home. Julie, come home. Right now, don't talk to anyone. Just come to my office." Rebecca said than ended the call. She drops down on her seat. Her heart is pounding in her ears.
"He is going to kill me!" Only the thought of it is creating so much pain for Rebecca.
"DARK!" She muttered. At the same time, someone knocked on her office door. Rebecca immediately looked towards the door. Her eyes filled with fears, her body shaking. She gulped. Rebecca got up from her seat, wiped the tears from her face, she came towards the door. Rebecca grabbed the handle of the door her hands were trembling. She unlocked it.
"Rebecca, are you fine?" Simon is standing outside her office. She took a deep breath and then let him come inside. She closed the door.
"What's going on?" He asked. Rebecca didn't say a word.
"Let Julie come here... She will be here at any moment." She said. Her voice sounds so grave. After waiting for a few more minutes, Julie reached the packhouse. She ran upstairs towards Rebecca's office. Crysler was sitting in the lounge and looking at all of this, he didn't understand anything at all.
Julie entered the office. She locked the door and Rebecca came toward Julie. She hugged her and started crying. Rebecca was crying like a baby.
"Hey, Hey, Rebecca, what happened? Why are you crying?" Julie was patting her back. She was trying to calm her down.
"Julie, he..he..is,,," Rebecca couldn't complete her sentence.
"Moon, who? What happened?" Julie wiped her tears. She looked toward Rebecca's face.
"Julie, Crysler...he is,,," Rebecca again cried but stopped.
"Okay, calm down. Luna Moon, please. What's going on?" Simon also came towards them, he grabbed Rebecca's hands.
"What about Crysler?" He asked. Julie made Rebecca sit on a chair. She went and took a glass of water.
"Moon, drink up." She said then wiped the tears from her face. Rebecca sniffed and then took a few sips of water. She looks a bit calm down. Julie and Simon are sitting in front of her, looking at her in concern.
"Moon, now tell us, what is wrong?" Julie asked. Rebecca sobbed and then start telling both of them what happened at the mall.
Julie and Simon both went into shock. Their eyes bulge out of their sockets.
"What are you talking about? No way, it can be, he can not be DARK," Simon said. But his voice was shaky.
"Maybe, Zach is planning something, how can it be true? Crysler can not be that..." Julie also said in disbelief.
"I don't know what to do? I don't know what will happen now?" Rebecca said, the salty water came to the surface of her eyes.
"Our pack is going to get attacked? But why? We don't have any beef with Shadow Moon Pack." Simon said.
"I don't know what's going on, I messed up very badly this time. Zach was right. I don't deserve to be Luna of the pack." Rebecca cried.
"No, don't say that Luna, Please," Julie said.
"We still don't know if Zach was telling the truth. It can be a misunderstanding. We have to confirm if he is the same wolf." Julie said.
"I need to go talk to Simara. I have to ask her, she is his sister." Rebecca said.
"No, Rebecca, it will be a risk," Simon said. But Rebecca shook her head in a no manner.
"I will take this risk, I can not let anything happen to my pack. There is going to be an attack on our pack soon... We have to get ready. We have to do something about it. But first, I want to confirm his identity." Rebecca said then got up from her seat. They both also followed her, she opened the door of her office.
Rebecca came downstairs with Julie and Simon. Crysler is still present in the hall. She didn't even look at him. Rebecca left the pack house with Julie and Simon. All of them came towards the cottage.
Rebecca asked both of them to guard the entrance. She went inside. Rebecca went towards Simara's cell.
"Simara!" She called. Simara was sitting on the floor. The shakiness in her voice was not hidden from Simara. She looked toward Rebecca.
"Yes what is it? Luna Moon!" Simara questiined.
"I want to ask you something..." Rebecca said gulping down the ball of tears that formed in her throat.
"Yea?" Simara also felt the tension on her face.
"Crysler, Your brother..." A sob erupts from her lips.
"What about my brother?" Simara also looked worried.
"Is he DARK, THE DARK?" Rebecca asked.
And Simara's eyes widen with shock.
"How did you?" She stopped.
"Tell me, is he?" Rebecca growled.
"Yes, Luna Moon. He is DARK." Simara said. And Rebecca felt as the air left her lungs. And the ground opened and she fall into the void.
