Chapter 35 - The End of a Story Often Comes Out of Nowhere

Tony pursed his lips and stood in the doorway as the Smith family came over in full force, with Janet pointing directly at her and cursing.
Kathy cowered in the corner, her face white and not saying a word.
"How come you're not the one who got hit! If you had died, it would have been over."
The shrill cursing provoked the displeasure of the surrounding doctors and nurses, and it was only after a few words that Janet stopped for a while, but still stared straight at her.
The nurse in the operating room came out and said with a grave face, "The patient is bleeding profusely and needs a blood transfusion. Which one of you is the patient's family."
She immediately stepped forward, "I am I am, doctor take me there."
"Do a blood test first, then prepare for the transfusion." The nurse took a look and led her over.
When the blood test was done, she was surprisingly not timid either. The nurse spoke idly, and only after a while did the results come out, "The blood type doesn't match, please get the child's father to come."
Janet was a bit confused, "What do you mean?"
"Miss Smith belongs to Rh-negative blood, your blood type does not match." The nurse explained.
Janet had paused, unable to listen to the words that followed.
Rh-negative blood, no one in the Smith family had panda blood. It was like she thought of something, when Alice was born, her mother blood type is Rh-negative blood.
……
No...... she could not believe that her daughter, whom she had loved for more than twenty years, would be someone else's child. Alice, her Alice, had been abandoned by her for more than twenty years. Janet could not accept it for a moment, and her blood surged, surprisingly, she also fainted.
Kathy was gone, a twisted farce that seemed to end abruptly, the funeral was rushed, probably because the Smith family had discovered that Kathy was not the Smith family's biological daughter.
When Janet woke up, Alice was standing in front of her, looking at her face, and realizing how similar she was to herself. But after all these years, she hadn't even noticed.
"I'll leave now that you're awake." Alice stopped thinking about her and left with a cold look.
Janet was a little apologetic, and didn't know what words to say as she watched her leave.
Alice looked at the door and tried to pretend she hadn't seen her. But Tony thought otherwise and gazed at her back, asking, "Why are you hiding this from me."
Alice did not understand.
He took out the notebook that he remembered was full of dishes she had recorded, all of which she had worked hard to accumulate, and Tony found this time and looked at the names on it, and everything instantly became clear.
She loved him so meticulously that she didn't leave a trace, and she hurt her heart all over.
Now looking at her, surprisingly, he also began to choke in his throat, unable to say words.
But Alice just took a look and smiled: "So here it is." All those pink scents that belonged to her were recorded in a single stroke on this.
"I'm sorry." He suddenly apologized. He loved Alice after all, otherwise he wouldn't have thought about her like a tide after she left for no reason, nor would his heart have been like water when Kathy left.
Alice paused, suddenly only feeling ridiculous. Looking at his appearance, there was still some resentment in his heart.
"If being sorry worked, I probably wouldn't be standing here." She walked up to him and took the notebook over, casually flipping through a few pages before saying, "We're already divorced."
"I know."
He raised his eyes and looked at her with deep affection, "We can get remarried."
Alice felt ridiculous, but her face was expressionless, "I've already given you one chance. There is no next time."
She turned to leave, tears instantly falling like rain. The notebook in her hand was thrown in the rubbish bin outside the hospital.
Three months later.
"Hello, the Supreme Deluxe Pregnancy Package you ordered has arrived. Please open the door and sign for it." The female voice alert in the phone rang out.
Alice was a little helpless, and in her heart she almost guessed that it was Susan's who had ordered it again. There was no one in the room, so she could only caress her stomach and slowly go to the door.
She was greeted by a standard baby daddy outfit, Tony holding a notebook and smiling, "Hello, I'm your personal pregnant housekeeper, Tony."
