Chapter ten- His mate

Alpha Adonis POV

I just finished having my bath and decided to take a rest when Jason mind linked me.



“Adonis, where are you?.” He asked me.

“In my room? Why did something happen?.” I ask him wondering why he is distributing my peace.


“Well I am in your cabin. There is a boy…” he started to say but I cut him off.

“What the f*ck are you doing in my cabin without my permission? I am on my way and if you harm the boy, you will regret it!.” I said and closed the mid link.

I quickly got up from bed and all atoms of sleep disappeared from my eyes. I rushed out of the pack house and entered my car and started to drive towards the cabin.

Damn Jason and his unnecessary curiosity. He must have guessed that something was up with me deciding to stay at the cabin and so he went to check things out for himself. The next time I build a private cabin for myself, I will make sure that Jason won’t be aware of the location.


Immediately I reached the cabin. I jumped out of my car and rushed for the front door. I didn’t even think about knocking, I just entered.

God help Jason if he touches Alex's head.
Surprisingly, I entered the house and found Jason and Alex seated opposite each other. It was as if they were having some kind of discussion.


“Jason!.” I glared at him before I turned my attention to Alex and asked in a soft voice; “are you okay? Hope he didn’t scare you too much?”.

“N-No i am fine!”. Alex stuttered in a low voice but I wasn’t still yet satisfied with his answer.


“You didn’t scare me, did you?.” I asked Jason in a high voice.


“Wow! He gets the soft voice while I get this!.” Jason pointed out and I gave him a harder glare.


“O please you heard the boy, I didn’t do any harm to him. By the way, stop with the glare, it doesn’t scare me. You should know that by now!”. Jason uttered indefinitely.


“If that is the case, explain to me why he keeps stuttering?”. I asked him.



“Not my fault, he has been doing that since I came here. I thought he was stammer!”. Jason defended himself. I knew that arguing with him would lead to nowhere and so I decided to ignore him for now.




“Alex, are you sure that you are alright?”. I asked him.



“I am fine Alpha!.” Alex answers me and I growl.



“Alpha? That is not my name is it?.” I asked him. I had told him yesterday to call me with just my name.


“No Alpha Adonis!.” Alex answered in a low voice.



I placed my hand on both sides of his face and lifted his head up until he was staring at me. “Kitten you don’t want to get me angry or I will punish you right now and here!. Now say my name!.” I ordered him.


“A- Adonis!.” He murmured.


“See it was that hard was it?.” I smiled at him. I use my hand to cease his cheeks and then move it until I am touching his lips. I used my hand to nibble his lower lips and Alex subconsciously licked it. I let out a groan and pulled him close to me until he was seated on my body with our chest pestered together.


I laid my head on his shoulders and inhaled into him. His scent is now becoming very addicting to me.


“Did you miss me when I was gone?”. I whispered into his ears and licked his earlobe making him shiver and close his eyes. I smiled at his reaction. It is nice to know that I am not the only one having these feelings and emotions.



I rubbed my chin into the side of his face and asked him again when he didn’t reply “Did you?.”


“Yes!.” Alex answered and I bent my head over and kissed him on the neck. Alex let out a slight moan as he used his hands to hold on my shoulder tighter. I love how his body always responds to my touch.

I stopped kissing him and raised my head to stare at him. His eyes were closed with his head tilted to the side while his mouth was slightly open. The way he looks now is what makes me devour him.


Just as I bent to kiss him on the lips, someone cleared his throat. Alex's eyes flew open and sat straight and started to blush.

I turn to glare at the intruder in fury. I have forgotten that Jason was around and I am sure Alex did too.


“Sorry to spoil your mood but I wasn’t ready to watch real live porn!”. Jason muttered, making Alex blush deeper while I on the other hand found him annoying.


“Why didn’t you quietly leave then? You would have saved all of us at this moment!.” I fired at him
.


“How am I supposed to guess that you will take it to an r-rated level?.” Jason asked.

Sometimes I wonder how I ended up being friends with an idiot like him.


“So can you take your leave now?”.


“Nope! We have to talk!”. Jason muttered.


I raised my brows at him; “about what?”.


“Well the fact that you are mated to a human!”. Jason mind linked me.



I looked at him and then at Alex. I knew that Jason would be smart enough to understand that Alex is my mate. That is why I didn’t want them to meet at first.


“Alex, excuse us, Jason and I have some issues we need to talk about!.” I excused ourselves from his presence and went to the other room. You could choose to keep mind linking each other here but I don’t want to make Alex feel uncomfortable.


We can also choose to speak out right but then Alex will hear about our discussion and that may cause a problem between. I had told him that this generation doesn't care if Alpha is mated to a human but that’s a lie. The old tradition still remains.



“So what are you planning on doing with the boy?.” Jason asked once we moved away from Alex hearing.



“The boy has a name!.” I said with a frown on my face.


“All the same, that doesn’t answer my question. Are you planning on marking him?.” Jason asked me.



“Well no, at least not yet!.” I honestly said.


“Good! You know the implications of you mate with a human. The other Alphas are going to feed on you.” Jason remained with me.


“Thanks for the remainder, I am already well informed of it!.”



“So will you reject him?.” Jason asked.


“What? Never!.” I shouted.


I can’t possibly think about rejecting Alex no matter what happens.


“So what actually it’s your plan?.”


“I don’t know for now but I will think about something!” I said.


Something that doesn’t require rejecting Alex. Internally I said to myself,



“Okay! Whatever it is, just make sure you think it right. Remember that you are the Alpha and the interest of your pack comes first before any other thing!.” Jason said and left.

I took a few minutes to calm myself down before I went back. I found Jason wishing Alex farewell before he left.



“Are you two okay?.” Apex asked in a concerned voice.


“Yes of course, why did you ask?.”


“Well both of you seem tense!.” Alex pointed out.


“It’s nothing! Are you hungry?.” I asked him to change the topic.


“A little bit.” Alex uttered.


“Okay then let me make us something to eat!.” I said and headed for the kitchen.


“Is it normally for you to cook as an Alpha?.” Alex asked me.
