Chapter 18- the hunter’s son

Alex POV



Alpha Wick open the door and entered and I followed after him. I was surprised at the amazing view that greeted me once I opened the door.


It looks as if we have passed through a secret door and appeared in a secret garden.



The garden looks like an indoor enclosed garden full of different beautiful flowers. It also has a water fountain in the center.


At the far end of the room are three different doors.



“What is this place?.” I could help but asked as I kept looking around.



“Welcome to my humble abode!” Alpha Wick said.



“This is your prison cell? Does your brother know about this?”. I curiously asked.

This place surely doesn’t look like a prison cell at all. It looks like a private garden owned by an Alpha. I understood why Alpha Wick stayed here for more than ten years.


It’s like experiencing serenity all the time. No worries, no disturbance, no stress, just peace.



“Well it’s was a private hideout build by my father. He build it so that our family can hide here when there is any danger. the attackers except the Alpha family to be hiding behind a wall in the dungeon and so it’s purely safe!.” Alpha Wick explained.



“But didn’t your brother know about this place?.” I couldn’t help but curiously asked.


“Nope. He never pays attention whenever we are receiving training and so I doubt if he knows about it. And if he actually does, he has no reason to come here after all he thinks I am dead!.” Alpha Wick pointed out.



“Oh!”.



“Come let me show you around, then we can sit and eat!.” Alpha Wick said. He took me to the three doors and showed me what they are meant for. The first one is a bathroom while the second one is his bedroom and the third room is just an empty room.



After that, he led us to a bench at the side of the water fountain where we sat and ate the food Ella brought to us.



“Do you think Alpha Adonis will come for me?.” I couldn’t help but ask. That thought has been in my mind ever since Ella informed us that Adonis might be here to get himself a Luna.


“Listen Kid don’t over think this okay? And to answer your question, he might come since you did say he accepted the bond between you too! Eat your food and stop worrying!”. Alpha Wick comforted me.



“Okay. Why am I even worrying? I knew that he is not going to make me his Luna after all I am just a bloody human.” I murmured in a low voice as I took a bite of the food.


“What did you just say?”. Alpha Wick asked me. I forget for a minute that he is a werewolf and werewolves have super hearing. And so there is a chance that Alpha Wick heard me.


“Nothing!”. I quickly answered and swallowed a bit. Alpha Wick gave me a look that says he doesn’t believe me but he didn’t say anything and kept on eating.


“You never actually told me where you are from?”. Alpha Wick asked me after we were done eating.


“Pardon?”. I asked him.



“Your family. Before you ended with Adonis. Where are you from?”. Alpha Wick rephrased his question.



I stood still staring at him because I didn't know what to say.


Hey, my father is Lord Taifun, the number emeny to many werewolves.


That’s not something to say. Who knows, he might be holding some grudges against my dad or his men and take it out on me.



“Let me make a guess. You know to much about werewolves and so I guessed you might either have a relative who is a werewolf or you a hunter.” Alpha Wick analyzed making my heart stop beating.


“Judging by the expression on your face, it must be the latter but I must say you look pretty weak and innocent to be a Hunter. Why did you become one?”. Alpha Wick asked me.



“I am not a Hunter!” I defended myself. Just because my dad is something that doesn’t make that also.



“My bad! You sound defensive as if you are trying to convince both yourself and I that you aren’t.” Alpha Wick uttered.




“I am not! My dad is!.” I declared.



Alpha Wick raised his brows; “I thought hunters train their children to me hunters too? Especially the male ones?” Alpha Wick asked.


“Well you thought wrong!.” I muttered.


He is actually right. My dad tried to send me on a mission twice but it both failed and since then, he never tried that. I used to wonder why he allowed me to be literally roaming around camping doing nothing. But now I understand why he allows me.



“Things have changed then. So who is your father? Maybe I might have heard of him?.” Alpha Wick asked me.



“You don’t wish to know that!.” I answered him.



“O try me!.” He uttered.



“Taifun!.” I answered in a lower voice as I watched his expression.



Alpha Wick held an unbelievable expression on his face with a little bit of confusion; “I am sorry did you say Taifun?”. Alpha Wicked asked.


I nod my head.



“As in Taifun? Lord of the West Hunters?”. Alpha Wick asked again.


“Yeap him.” I answered.


“Wow I wouldn’t have guessed. You don’t look like a son of a ruthless man.” Alpha Wick stated.


“I know right, I get that all the time.”

Even back at the hunters pack, everyone used to wonder how come I am related to him because I don’t have a single gene of his in me.



“So how did a son of the ruthless hunter end up here as a mated to a werewolf. Does your father know about this?”. Alpha Wick asked.



“He doesn’t. He disowned me before I met Adonis.” I answered.



“Wow, a blessing in disguise! What do you do to make him disown you?”. Alpha Wick asked me.


I describe everything that happened to him. From me tempering with my father’s plan to me getting disowned and how I found myself in Alpha Adonis arms.

By the time I was done, Alpha Wick was speechless.
