Chapter thirty four

Alpha Adonis POV

“His mate.” I answered.



“His what?.” Jason asked in a shocked voice.



“I am sure you heard me the first time.” I answered him.


“Damn! I can’t believe that Albert found his mate before me.” Jason lamented.


“Well lucky him. Let's go over. It’s as if they are done talking.” I said and moved closer to Albert and Lily who were now hugging each other.



“Everything cool?.” I asked Albert. Although by the smile on his face and the hug, all things went.



“Yes Alpha!.” Albert answered.



“Good! Here is the sleeping portion. Please be smart about it. Act normal so that you won’t gather unnecessary attention to yourself..” I advised Lily as I passed the portion to her. I wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to her even for the sake of Albert.



“I understand.” Lily answered and collected the portion.



“Take this. There is a tracker on it. We can see your movements using it.” Albert said and put a clip on Lily's head.



“Be safe Lily.” I said to her with a small smile.


She gave Albert a slight hug before she ran back towards the direction of the camp.



“Are you sure we can trust her?.” Jason asked.


Albert turned to glare at him.


“It was an honest question.” Jason said in his defense..




“Shut up Jason. Let’s wait for her, if the plan doesn't work, we can go on with plan B. We can go ahead with plan B.” I informed them.



“So are we going to sit here and wait for two hours doing nothing?.” Jason asked.



“Nope. Did you guys find anything useful on the survey?.” I asked them. Hoping to get something that can actually help us.



“Actually I did. So behind those trees is a cave. I think they are keeping some prisoners there. If we can take the guards down, we can rescue the prisoners and have them fight the hunters with us.” Jason suggested.



“Not a bad idea. How sure are you that you want the attention of the people on the main camp?.” I asked him.



“There are only a few guards there. If we lay an ambush on them, we can launch a quick attack.” Jason explained.



“What do you think about it?” I asked Albert.



“It’s a good idea. I mean it’s better than doing nothing.” Albert said.


“Good then. Let's head there.” I ordered.


We discriminately walk to the caves. It was surrounded by a lot of tall trees and so it was visible from afar.


We saw a few guards surrounding the mouth of the cave. We made a plan and decided to attack them one by one.


Since werewolves have inhuman speed, it will be easy for us to easily snatch a guard without the others noticing. Albert went first..

He ripped a guard’s throat using his fangs. Before the other guards could react, we attacked them and killed all of them.

We were able to get the Keys to the locker from the pocket of one of the guards. We opened the lock of the cage and entered. The smell wasn’t very pleasant. It was the mixture of urine and blood.




We made our way deeper into the cave. There were men inside the cells. From the smell coming from the men, I could tell that they are werewolves. They also sensed that we were werewolves because they stood up and stared at us..



“Iisten, we will are here to help. We will set you guys free.” I announced to them.


“Be Careful with the rails, it’s laced with wolf bane.” One of the men informed me.


I took a wolf bane antidote from my pocket and swallowed it before I started to open the lock.


At the end, the men were about twelve in numbers. They were all from the Sky Blue Pack. They were ambushed by the hunters earlier this week.


We made plans with them on how to carry out the plan. In exactly two hours, we attacked the camp. The men were weak and so it was easy to fight them..


I found Lily and she told me that Alex is being kept in the prison in the lord’s torture camber.

I head there to find him.



“Alex?.” I called out when I entered the torture chamber.


“Alex!”. I called him again when there wasn’t a reply.


“Adonis!.” I heard him cry in dismay.



I followed the voice and found him. He was being held at gun point by his father.


“Taifun, trust me, you don’t want to do this…” I warned Alex’s father.


“Shut up, nobody tells me what to do. I don't know what your relationship with my son is or why you decided to attack me. But let me tell you, that’s the biggest mistake you will make. I will kill him and then kill you next.” Taifun threatened me as he held the gun tighter to Alex's face.



Immediately he finished talking, he let out a yell as he let go of Alex and fell to the ground. Alex immediately ran to me.


“You talk too much!.” Jason said as he bent down to wipe the blood on his fangs using Taifun’s shirt.


All this time, Jason was behind Taifun and had pierced his heart using his fangs..



“We need to get out of here now!.” Jason ran out of the building.


We went out and saw the whole place on fire just as planned. We ran from the camp and watched the whole camp burn to ruin before we headed out.



“Thank you Alpha Adonis for rescuing us. Wwe shall repay your kindness to our Alpha!.” Of the men we rescued from the cave said to me.


“Are you sure you can find your way home from here?.” I asked him.


“Yes Alpha.” He answered me.



“Alright! Stay safe!.” I said and they went north taking an opposite routine that we are supposed to take..


When they had walked out of our sight, we started to walk home. With me and Alex walking together while Albert and Lilly walked together leaving Jason to walk alone.


“I feel like a fifth wheel right now.” Jason pitifully lamented.



“It’s not supposed to be a feeling. You are actually a fifth wheel..” Albert corrected him.



“Dear goddess please, I can't handle this anymore. Everyone has a mate except me. Why?” Jason cried out.


I actually feel sorry for him. He must feel very lonely. Even his twin sister Miya had already met her mate. I just hope he meets his own fate sooner than later.


When we arrived back at the Pack, we all went our separate ways. I led Alex back to the cabin to pack the clothes I had earlier brought for him before he went missing.


“How are you feeling?.” I asked Alex.


“Honestly? I don’t know how to feel. I am so exhausted!!!.” Alex sighed.

Poor boy. I understand how he must be feeling. These past weeks have been very stressful for him.


“Why don’t you go take a rest. I will hear the bath for you.” I suggested.


Alex nodded and he laid on the couch. I went to the bathroom and prepared his bath before I picked him up and took him to the bathroom.



“Do you want me to help you with your bath?.” I asked him.


“What! No! I can do it.” Alex exclaimed blushing..



I smiled at his behavior and left the washroom. After he had his shower, I had mine and then we ate dinner at went to sleep..

Tomorrow we shall move to the pack house.

The next day. Adonis and Alex head for the Pack House. Adonis decided to give Alex a tour of the Pack.



“Your pack is so fine!!!”. Alex excitedly exclaimed as he kept staring out of the window as we drove past.


“Our Pack Alex!.” I corrected him. Once the issue with the Council of elders is settled, I will Mark Alex and officially make him my Luna…



It was around lunchtime that we arrived at the pack house..


“Wow you live here?.” Alex asked as he stared at the massive building in front of us.


“Yes and so do you now.” I said to him,


We got out of the car and found two Omegas standing.


“Welcome back Alpha!!.”” They greeted with their head bowed.


“Take the luggage inside the car to my room and then inform the chef to serve us our lunch.” I instructed the Omegas before I pulled Alex towards the entrance of the Pack house..



When we entered, I led us straight to the dining room because I was very famished.



“Your house is so big and beautiful..”. Alex commented.


“Thank you. I will give you a tour after we have our rest.” I informed him.


A minute later, the cooks came in carry our lunch.
