Chapter 20- Luke and Miya 1

Luke POV


I was in my room when I saw the car of Alpha Adonis approaching the pack house. I knew it was him because his cars are customized and only he owns the type of car in the whole world.



I wondered what brought him here. It’s not as if dad is around. My father had been trying to get either my sister Lucy or I to become Alpha Adonis Luna because according to him, that’s a brilliant way to gain more power since Alpha Adonis Pack is one of the largest packs.


Because of this reason, Lucy dislike Alpha Adonis. I, on the other hand , don't think much about it. In fact, I look up to him. I mean he is my senior with just years and he is able to make his pack this powerful. His parents died when he was sixteen and he took over the pack. Many people expect him to lead the pack to ruin but he shamed them and made it among the top most powerful pack.


Sometimes I wonder if my father doesn’t take challenges from him. Talking about my father, he is a different case entirely.


When we were younger, he used to be a nice man to us and the pack but it’s as if something in him changed and turned him into this man he is today.



I got up from my bed and decided to go down so that I could see what was happening to myself.



I met my sister Lucy on the stairway.




“Sister I heard that Alpha Adonis is here?” I asked her. Lucy acts as the host of the pack house and so I know she knows what is going on.


“Yep he is!.” She answered, sounding annoyed.



“Why what does he want?.” I curiously asked.



“Well apparently, a captive of his pack needed here somehow and he is here to get him back.” Lucy explained.


I frown as I listen to her explanation. That sounds so unreal and fake. Why would an Alpha come get a captive himself? Worst part is a proud Alpha like Adonis.


“Did you believe his story?.” I asked Lucy.


“Do I have a choice? I just want to get rid of him before dad gets back. Lucy utterd.


“Fair enough. Let me follow up so that I can say hi to him.” I told her and we went up the stairs together.


We reached the guest lounge and Lucy opened the door.

I found myself immediately frozen as I stared into the room.

I was hit with the most incredible scent I have ever smelt. It smells like wet soil and oud. I felt my whole body immediately become charged.

“ Mate!!” I shouted in a deep voice which I knew was because my wolf was in control.



Lucy shifted away from me as I went Inside the lounge in a trance. It was as if something was pulling me inside.


My mate also moved forward and we were soon standing opposite each other and looking deep into the eyes of each other.


Never did I imagine that I would meet my mate at all. I hardly leave the pack house so at the end I believed that my dad would end up arranging a marriage for me. Although secretly I had prayed and hoped to find my soul mate. Luckily enough for me, the moon goddess answered my prayers.



I let my eyes roam over my mate and I am glad at what I see. She is black curly hair and big brown eyes. She was also wearing a dress that does not conceal her perfect curved body.


Just looking at her sends an electric pulse straight into my groin area. I am very sure my eyes are dark with desire because the only thing in my mind right now is the thought of this exotic beauty belonging to me.



Lucy cleared her throat and broke the moment. I blushed when I realize that my mate and I were just eye fucking each other.



“Hi!”. I said shyly to her.


Immediately I said those words, I slowly cussed at myself. Like seriously ? I can’t believe that’s the first words I would say to my mate.



“Hello I am Miya and you are?”. My mate boldly asked me. It seems I have gotten myself a feisty mate.



“I am Luke.” I answered.

I have never had any relationship with anybody so excuse me for behaving awkwardly.



“Em… Luke, why don’t you take Lucy to your room so that both get to know each other better?”. Lucy suggested. At times like this, I am happy that I have her as my sister.



“It’s that okay with you?”. I asked for my mate's opinion.


She turns to look at Alpha Adonis who was silent that one could almost miss that he is in the room. Alpha Adonis gave her a go ahead nod.


My wolf groaned at their exchange.


“Easy there buddy! She is all yours!”. Alpha Adonis said in a teasing tone as he raised his hands up in surrender.



“Yes!”. She answered with a bright smile that almost got me on my knees.



“Okay kids! Have fun! Don’t worry about using protection. I am ready to be an Aunty already!”. Lucy declared as she waved us out of the room.


I take back what I said earlier. I am not happy that she is my sister. She doesn’t know when to shut her mouth.


“Em… sorry about earlier, is just that It’s protocol for me to ask for permission before I excused myself from the presence of the Alpha!.” My mate explained herself once we were out of the lounge room. It touched my heart that she is explaining herself to me.


“It’s fine I understand!”I gave her a small smile and we fell into silence after that.


I lead Miya silently towards my room. I was a bit nervous though. This is the first time I am having a woman in my room apart from my sister and this is not just any woman but my MATE!!!
