Epilogue

Two months later

Alex POV

Nervous could not describe how I am feeling now.


Today is the day I will be crowned as the Luna of River Blue Pack.


Two months ago, after the night, Adonis marked me. He went to the council of elders to ask for permission to be allowed to officially make me his Luna. He told them that he was willing to face every consequence.



But then luckily enough, the council of elders had already heard about the hunters defeat and so it was easy for him to gain their approval.


And so for the last two months, I have been learning about the pack and what it takes to be the Luna.


And today I Will be crowned as the LUNA of the pack and Lily will also be officially welcomed into the pack.


Talking about Lily, she has been living with her mate the Pack’s Gamma for the past two months. She has adapted very well to the Pack and we continued our friendship from where we left out after I was banished from the hunters camp.



“How are you feeling?.” Lily asked me as we got ready to attend the coronation ceremony. We are going to attend the coronation together.


“I'm actually a little nervous, but I can handle it. I have trained so much for this moment.” I answered her with a small smile. Two months of practice, I am ready.


Liar!

A small voice in my head said.


“Alright! I am a bit nervous too, but we have each other by our side. The ceremony is about to start. It wouldn’t be good if you come late to your own coronation. Let’s get going”. Lilly said as she stood up and started making her way to the door.

I rolled my eyes at him “You keep referring to it as my coronation only as if you aren’t going to take the oath and officially join the Pack today too.”


“Whatever!” She said as we both made our way out of the room.

The ceremony was to take place at the pack assembly ground that was beside the Pack’s conference hall. Important announcement that needed the attention of the either pack was done there because the conference hall can’t accommodate the either pack members.


I was seated on the stage right next to Adonis while Lily started next to her mate who is seated at the left of Adonis.


Adonis stood up and addressed the crowd; “Greetings to you all members of River Blue Pack”.


“Greetings to you too Alpha '' the crowned echoes. There were so many people present. Almost everyone in the pack, if not all were present.


“As you all know that we have gathered today to to officially welcome Lily as the new member of this pack and also a s the mate of our Gamma. Also, we are going to crown my beloved mate as your Luna.” Adonis announced.


As soon as he said the last part, the crowd went wild in cheering.



He then beacon on Lily to move forward. Lily stood up and gracefully made her way to him.


“Repeat after me!.” Adonis commanded her.


‘I Lily pledged my loyalty to this Pack. I Promise to always put in the interest of the Pack in my heart and to abide by the rules and regulations governing the Pack and I also promise to be obedient to the commandment of the Alpha. May the goddess help me.”


Adonis said and Lily repeated after him..

After which Adonis took the ceremonial knife and pierce the center of his palms and he did the same to Lily and then joined their hands together tightly.


The whole congregation clapped their hands. Lily’s mate immediately went over with a white cloth and wrapped it around her hand as she took her back to their seat.



At this moment, my heart started beating very fast now that I know that I am next.


I slowly made my way to where Adonis was standing.

“If anybody has a valid reason why Alex should not be sworn in as the Luna of this pack, he or she should step forward or forever remain silent” Adonis addressed the crowd and everywhere went silent.

Nobody stepped forward. I released the breath I didn’t know I was holding. Even if anyone should step forward, whether his accusations were true or false, the ceremony will be pulsed. It actually brings a lot of complications. I was actually afraid that someone might expose my identity as Taifun’s son. That will spoil the whole ceremony.


Seeing as nobody was going to talk, Adonis went on with the coronation. He beacon on me to repeat to him.


“I Alex, ”

“ Promise to be a good Luna to this pack”

“Promise to always put the good will of the Pack before anything else.

“ Promise to treat each Pack member fair”

“Promise to fulfill my duties as a Luna to both the Alpha and the entire Pack members.”

“May the moon goddess help and guide me!”

I repeated each line after Adonis with determination in heart to keep each promise and vow. After which, Adonis took the ceremonial knife and pierce the center of his palms and he did this with mine and then joined our hands together tightly.


Immediately he did that, I felt strong power rushed into me. Indeed I have officially become the Luna of the River Blue Pack. I could feel the connection of the entire Pack.


Adonis raised our hands, still joined together and shouted to the people; “ Members of River Blue Pack, Behold your Luna!!”

And the people became clapping their hands shouting, “ long live Alpha Adonis and Luna Alex! May the moon goddess be with you!”



Adonis smiled and pulled me for a kiss and the whole crowd went wild with joy and there were fireworks.

Everything was just very perfect.


“I love you My beloved Luna!”. Adonis breathlessly said to me as he Placed his head on my forehead while he stared into my eyes.



“I love too my Alpha.” I responded staring right back into his eyes.


This is home!

Six months later, Alpha Adonis and I adopted a set of twins, a boy and a girl, while Jason was able to find his mate Ariel who happens to be just as crazy as him. Whereas Maya and Lily are both pregnant.

At the end of the day, everyone got their happy ending.
