Chapter 27- found

Alpha Adonis POV


“Welcome, although I never knew you were interested in older women.” Lucy said as she smirked at me.


It took me a second for my brain to boot what she meant.



“What! No. You are misunderstanding the issue.” I defended myself. I had hooked up with people older than me before, but not as old as that omega. She looks like she could be my mother’s age mate. There is no way I could be interested in her.



“No need to go all defensive. I would not judge you.” Lucy said.


“There is nothing to judge. I just want an explanation on the note she slipped to me. Here, take a look.” I said and passed the note to Lucy.



“I always knew I am the smarter one between the two of us. You are such a dummy. What if the omega didn’t want Lucy to know about this? Or what if Lucy is among the people hiding our mate? You do know that you have just put his life at risk right?”. Kane questioned me.


As much as I hate to admit, he is right. But then it’s too late. Lucy had already read the note.



“I am here- Alex! Is this from the human you came to look for?”. Lucy asked.



“That’s what I want to find out.” I answered.


“Why am I not aware of this? What's going on?.” Lucy asked with a frown on her face.


What’s going on? I should be the one asking her that.



A few minutes later, the woman came in looking scared.



“What’s your name?.” Lucy asked her.



“E-Elsa!”. The woman stuttered.



“Good Elsa, please explain to us what you mean by this note.” Lucy muttered as she waved the note over the head.


Elsa kept her head down and didn’t say anything.



“Look at me when I talk to you.” Lucy ordered and Elsa raised her head up.



“Good. Now tell us what do you mean by this note? Don’t even try to lie to me or you wouldn’t like the consequences.” Lucy warmed.



“H-He … A-Alex…..” Elsa stuttered but didn’t say anything reasonable.



“You..” Lucy started to say but I cut her off.


“Lucy, it's okay. I think you are scaring her. Let me do the asking.” I insisted.


Lucy threw Elsa a deadly glare before she lay low.


“Good afternoon Elsa, how are you doing?”. I asked her in a calm voice.


“I- I am fine t-thank you.” Elsa mumbled.



“That’s good. So about the note. Did Alex give you the note?.” I asked her.


And she nodded her head. And I sighed in relief.


“Is he here in this pack?.” I asked her.


Elsa stared at Lucy for a minute before she bowed her head without saying a word.



“She is afraid of being punished!” Kane mumbled.



“Listen Elsa, can you tell me the truth? Nothing is going to happen to you. You won’t be punished. Right Lucy?”. I asked, looking at Lucy.



“That’s right. You can say it.” Lucy proclaimed.



“Where is he? Did you meet him?”. I asked her. My patience is really wearing out. I don’t want to get furious at her.



“Listen Elsa. You don’t want to see me get angry and so cooperate with the easy way or I choose the other way around. Which way did you prefer?”. I asked her. I could use my Alpha Aura on her and get her to answer me if I wish.


“In the dungeon.” Elsa announced.


“The dungeon? Who dares place someone in the dungeon without notifying me first?”. Lucy growled.



“Do you know the cell he is in?”. I ask releasing my alpha aura so that she won’t lie.



“Yes.” Elsa answered, bearing her neck in submission.



“Good. You will take me to him then.” I instructed.



Lucy and I got up from our seats.


“I will tell the driver to get the car ready.” Lucy instructed.



“Why don’t we just go in my car? Since you know the road, you can sit in the front and direct me.” I suggested. The less people know about Alex, the better.


“Sure let’s go!”.

We arrived in the dungeon. It was already noon. Lucy got us lanter lights and we walked as Elsa led the way.

I am not sure if she is leading us in the right direction. We are walking towards the isolated side at the back of the dungeon.


There were tall grasses everywhere and it looks as if this place is not in use.



“Are you sure you are leading us to the right place? This side looks as if it has not been in use for years?.” Lucy asked, voicing out what is in my mind.



“Yes.”



After walking for a while, we walked down the stairs and it led to an old cell.


“How did Alex end up here? I am surely going to kill whoever placed him in here.” I swore as I looked around.



“He is in here.” Elsa said pointing at the old cell.



“How do you know about this?.” Lucy asked Elsa.


I ignored both of them and moved closer to the cell. It was so dark. I doubt if someone is in here.

“Alex! Alex, are you here?.” I called out in a loud voice.



“Alex? Alex?.” I called out.



“Adonis?” I heard a faint call.



“Yes. It’s me. I am here.” I yelled.



After a while, I started to hear footsteps coming closer. And in no time, Alex appeared in front of me.


“Adonis. You came!.” Alex happily exclaimed.


“Of course. I will always come for you.” I uttered.

I scanned the light over him. He looked okay apart from the little dirt on his clothes. I breathed out in relief as I finally calmed down.


“How did you end up here?”. I asked him.


“It’s a long story. How did you find me? Did Elsa told you I am here?” Alex asked.


I became confused for a moment how the hell did he know Elsa. What is actually going on here?



“Yes she did. Let me get you off here and then you can tell me all about how you ended up here.” I instructed.


I closed my eyes, I took a deep breath and growled. My fangs came out and I used it to break the lock.


Immediately the door broke, I pulled Alex into a hug not minding that we have an audience.


“I missed you Kitten.” I whispered into his ears as he smuggled into me.



At that moment, I heard footsteps coming from the cell. So I guess Alex wasn’t the only one trapped here.



The figure soon came into view and I heard a gasp from behind.


“Uncle Rick?” . Lucy exclaimed in shock.
