Chapter six- The Alpha himself

“You won’t believe me even if I told you!.” Alex uttered.

“Try me!.” I turn to face his completely.


Alex told me how his father disowned him and how he ended up in the forest. I am very sure that the man that followed him is a rogue. I am impressed that he managed to kill a rogue when some werewolves cannot. I am so furious that I wish I have a teleporting power to make me appear before Alex’s father and destroy him. I wonder why I can’t feel Kane getting angry.

“Kane?” I called him.

“What?”. He fired. I don’t understand what is making his blood hot these days.

“Why aren’t you angry with Alex’s father?”. I asked him.

“That’s because we are supposed to be thankful to him because he he haven’t done that, we won’t have meet our mate!”. Kane pointed out. He does have a point.


“I always have a point! That’s my I am the wise one and you are the dumb one!”. Kane mocked me. Sometimes Kane act as if he is my competitor and not my wolf.

“Pride comes before a fall!”. I remained him.

“Says a foolish person!”. Kane fired at me. I immediately block him. I don’t have his time. Let me focus on my mate.


“That is a very shitting thing to do! I am sorry you have to experience that.” I console him.

“That’s fine.Taifun has never acted like my father for a minute!”. Alex said making me to seat straight.

“Wait Taifun as in the lord of the hunters?” I asked.

“Yes do you know him?”. Alex asked me.


By the goddess! I am mated to the enemy’s son! Fu*k me!


I honestly don’t know how to react to this knew piece of information. So I am not only mated to a human but to a hunter’s son. Why didn’t the shaman inform me of this piece of information.


“Do you know my father?” Alex asked.

“Od course every werewolf knows who Taifun is!”. I uttered before I realize what I just did. I just informed him that I am a werewolf.

“Wait you are a werewolf?”. Alex asked. There is no point of denying it and so I nod my head. Alex then shifted away from me.

“Is that why I am here? Because you want to use me and take a revenge on my father?”. Alex asked.

“What? No! Where did you get such ideas from? I did not know Taifun Is your father until moment ago!” I defended myself. I can’t believe I am defending myself. Jason will laugh if he sees me like this. I usually just ignore any accusations. But then this is my mate we are talking about here.


“Then why can I here? Are you trying to make me your sex slave?.” Alex asked making me to laugh. A sex slave seriously? I can have any werewolf I want at my beck and call ready to please me.

“I must admit, you have wild imagination!”. I said in between my laugh.

“Well you can’t blame for thinking this way. I woke up lying next you and you have already kissed me twice this morning!”. Alex pointed out.

“Why are you making it sound like I forced you? Tell me, did you enjoy the kiss?” I teased.

“I did! It just, I .. o forget it!”. Alex pouted. He looks adorable doing that. I stood and move to him and peck him before coming back to my seat.

“You are so adorable kitten!.” I stated making him to blush.

“How much do you know about wolves?.” I asked him.

“Well a lot! There are many books about wolves in the camp and so I read them!.” Alex said.

“Do you know about mates?.”

“Yes! Soulmate bonded by the moon goddess!.” Alex explained.

“And how will mate recognize each other?.” I ask looking at him.

“Well, they will feel sparkles when they touch each other, they will always want to stay next to the other. They will…” Alex paused as if he realized something.

“No way!.” Alex murmured. “We are?” He looked at me.

“Yes kitten we are mates!.” I confirmed his thoughts.

“O my!” Alex said and sank into his seat.


“You don’t seems happy about that revelation!.” I uttered feeling hurt from his reaction.

“What no! I am just surprised. I honestly never imagine myself with a wolf!.” Alex explained.

“Okay what now?.” I asked him. The cards are in his hand. No matter how I am happy about finding my mate, I will never force myself on him if he chose to reject me.

“I don’t know! Aren’t you angry that I am Taifun son? I am sure every werewolf hate him! And here you are mated to his son!.” Alex exclaimed.

“Why should I be angry? You are not you father. Moreover you told me he had disowned you already! But just for the record, are you also a Hunter?.” I needed to know peradventure he is one and he prepared in case a pack is going after him.

“No I am not! That’s the reason why my father disowned me! I keep messing up with his plans of attacking werewolves pack. He grew tried and decided to get me out of his way!.” Alex explained and i let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding. One problem solve! Ninety nine more to go.


“That’s good to here! We are now good to go!.” I smiled at him.

“Is which pack do you belong to?.” Alex asked me. It actually good that my mate knows about werewolves already. It going to save me a lot of strength.


“The River Blue pack! Have you heard of it?.” I asked him.


“Of course. It is said to be one of the biggest and most powerful werewolf pack!.” Alex stated.

“That’s right!.” I smiled at him. I am not sure he have realized that I am an alpha.

“Hey you also have the same of with you Alpha! I heard that he is very ruthless and heartless! Is it true? That he threats his pack members with an iron hand!.” Alex said. Nice to know that this is what the hunters have been saying about me.

“I don’t think you got your information from a correct source. Ruthless? Maybe and that is when it is necessary. Apart from that, the pack members are been treated nicely.” I said.

“Why are you taking it personally? You must really admire your Alpha or maybe you are the ALPHA HIMSELF?”. Alex screamed the last part.
