Yes! Only way those slaves and other such forcefully taken pets would be served justice was to file a complaint to the alpha. But it appeared that the owners had kept their slaves away from the alpha’s reach and approach. Those people were mostly either humans or wolf-less folks who were nearly weak as humans. It made them an easy prey too just like Lana that was why alpha Sahan sent his beta Curtis to protect her back there at the ball.
Lana stood there in the doorsteps of the bathroom as she glanced at the atmosphere. It was a spacious room with the room temperature being warm, everything amazed her how it was done. The walls were covered in thick wallpapers and the huge window had curtains over them while the glass was closed. Lana did not want to know why she was being treated like a special person but she did not wish it to end.
'I hope it's not a dream, even if it is then I don't want it to end.'
Lana muttered to herself and strode inside when the ladies approached her. Upon the instruction of lady Noh one of the maids appeared behind her and helped her to get undressed. Lana was taken aback when the maid bent and lifted the dress from her feet. The dress was pulled up to her belly so that it exposed her thighs and the panties she had been wearing.
The lady became shy since no one had ever seen her like that and it was definitely a new thing for her. The maid lifted the dress and pulled it off making Lana stand there in the midst of the maids stark naked, who were keeping their eyes glued to the ground. She covered her bare breasts immediately and walked towards the bathtub while the maids hurried outside.
The lady sat in the water slowly as the warmth of the water sucked all the tiredness from her body. Although it was broad daylight and the only reason to lit the candles was to produce the heat to keep the chamber warm. Lana could potentially feel that the rose water was having some sort of special effect on her. The water seemed to have some oils too while the other kinds of itinerary was placed on the edges of the bathtub.
'This is….all of this is just so beautiful and unbelievable.'
Lana gazed outside the window and witnessed snow slowly engulfing the whole kingdom Selene. She wondered how her upcoming life would be considering that the alpha had been treating her better than she expected. But still something deep down, her gut feeling told her that something was definitely coming her way. And the feeling was not a good one!


On the other hand Lord Sahan was angrily roaming in a particular chamber, when the beta Curtis appeared in the same manner and bowed slightly. The alpha appeared to be disturbed by something which made him ooze a scary aura. His sleek long hair was tied into a low bun which emphasised his chiselled face which was creased with antsy. Alpha Sahan did not seem to be in a good mood when the beta reported upon the demand.
"Master!"
He knew something must have gone wrong that his master had summoned his presence there in that certain chamber. The alpha did not visit that place frequently but whenever he did, the place affected him to a greater extent that the whole castle became frightened. That chamber used to be the resting place of alpha’s beloved concubine, who died a horrible death for deceiving the alpha with the potion which did wonders. But everything lasted for a brief moment.
Sahan turned his head towards his beta Curtis and his eyes glowed bright golden with the dark intent. The black smoke type aura began to gather around his body once again indicating that the alpha was extremely enraged. The smoke looked like a spider's legs as it charged at Curtis, the beta was hit over his chest with a great impact that he went flying and crashed into the wall.
The beta had no clue what could make alpha Sahan act in such a way. But one thing was certain that whatever it was the matter must have held some greater importance. The alpha would never use his powers which could possibly expose his curse and identity. He was dying each day and the wise thing in such a situation Sahan could do was to save his energy. But the matter made him use a big chunk of his demonic powers to clear the beta Curtis that he needed to keep his distance.
The beta tried to lift himself up against the wall but the alpha Sahan did not seem to be in the mood of giving him any chance to do so. The bed chamber was similar to the others, except that it was not in use anymore. The alpha stood in front of the fancy wardrobe which was opened and seemed to be the possible stimulus of alpha’s rage.
"I will ask this once for all, Curtis. Who stole the dress from this wardrobe!?"
The lord was indeed angry that the smokey tentacle had been holding Curtis tucked to the wall by grabbing his neck. Alpha Sahan was not someone who showed mercy to anyone regardless gender. There was no way he was going to spare the person who stole that very pink gown from that wardrobe. No one was allowed to be inside that room, who would boldly dare to risk their lives to sneak into the forbidden bed chambers and steal something.
The beta Curtis was aware what significance that room and everything inside it held for alpha Sahan. And the very thought made him clear that he had made such a big mistake by not keeping a check on the staff members of castle. However, it was obvious that the person involved in the matter was ought to be someone insider because nobody from outside had come in.
