The alpha held Lana firmly with his one arm wrapped around her waist while the other one covered the woman’s face. She could feel the strength of his grip and at the same time it relieved her that she was not going to die in the hands of any random vampire who would probably suck her blood dry and give her a painful death.

Lana tried to struggle after her senses calmed down and the flashback of all the dirty deeds flashed into her mind but Sahan’ grip was holding her too strong. He looked at her with piercing golden eyes that seemed to bore into her very soul as he smirked at the woman who was totally confused by now.
"Quiet,"
Sahan commanded her as he did not uncover her mouth, his voice low and dangerous. The supreme alpha appeared to be looking for some answers from her now. He lifted his hands from her lips and tightened his grip around her waist as Sahan placed his index finger over her lips playfully.
"You have no right to speak until I give you permission."
The alpha’s voice was now shallow and was barely a whisper but there was a hint of relief now in his tone as if he was happy to see her safe and sound. Whereas Lana's heart was racing as she looked up at him totally confused, fear and confusion written across her face.

She had never encountered someone bipolar like the supreme alpha like this before as if Sahan had some issues with keeping up one emotion throughout the day. Lana looked back at him while gulping the heat which was rising within her body once again. She could not defy that Sahan exuded power and dominance, and she felt a strange attraction to him despite her fear.
The man who had earlier locked her mouth stepped back, Sahan lifted his finger and in order to permit her to speak. Lana could clearly see that he was trying to get some information from her. Although there was also something else Sahan was trying to inquire about because his hands were moving across her body as if he was making sure she was not hurt.
"Where were you running to, little kitten?"
Sahan asked, his voice cold and commanding which made Lana’s body numb because she was finally caught red handed. It was not wise to deny that she was not sneaking away because the alpha’s instincts were sharp and witty. Lana could not move but her brain started running at horsepower speed while trying to find out some excuse.
"I...I was just trying to see if everything is normal now…or not."
Lana stammered from sudden inquiry, while struggling to find her voice she finally spoke up something. A meaningful grin appeared on his face as his eyes began to glow even brighter. Lana assumed that like the last time he would probably strip her and ravish her body once again. Since the same thing happened last time when he grew angry with her, and now she was bluntly lying.
"I did not…."
She wanted to stop him from doing what was in his mind, that was why she began to speak again. But before she could draft another excuse or lie Sahan began to confront her. The man leaned in a bit and sniffed her scent as he devoured the faint peculiar smell coming from her body. His breath fanned over her neck which made Lana’ heart beat louder and faster.
Lana's eyes widened in surprise and horror expecting that he was probably going to torture her by making the woman strip as Sahan leaned in to sniff her bare skin. She tried to back off by placing her palms over his shoulder, but he was too close and his supernatural strength was sufficient to keep her in the place. The heat from his body and the scent of his natural surrounded her senses, making Lana feel trapped and physically vulnerable.

"What are you doing?"
She asked while trying to sound calm and composed over his sensual attempts. Lana could feel the pounding of her heart which made her emotions surfaced over her body.
Sahan did not answer her question because there was no need for him to respond to someone who was his slave. Instead, he continued to sniff her scent and intentionally growled to scare her, taking in the faint scent that seemed to intrigue him Sahan wanted to play with her.

Lana felt a chill run down her spine with a shiver as she realised that she was completely at his mercy. As Sahan leaned in even closer, his breath hot against her neck, Lana felt a wave of desire clouding her mind as she did not wish to give in the temptation. She tried to suppress it in front of Sahan who was able to sense her emotions clearly by now but her body seemed to have a mind of its own.
Just as she was about to give in to her impulsive reaction of the body Sahan pulled away with a grinning expression knowing that she was now feeling heated. Lana let out a sigh of relief that now she would not be exposed in front of him, she felt happy to be free from his intense gaze and the overwhelming attraction she felt towards him.
"What do you want from me?"
Lana gulped and tried to seem confident this time as she asked, her voice was slightly shaky which did not go unnoticed from the alpha. Sahan did not respond right away to tease the woman a bit more since her attraction towards him seemed so obvious now. Instead, he stared at her with a look of contemplation and evil-ness on his face. After a long moment of meaningful stare he finally spoke.
The alpha's eyes narrowed as he released her body and then looked her up and down. Sahan knew that she was planning something because her body language was not that hard to sense. She was panicking, crafting lies to divert his attention and her heartbeat was faster.
"You really are a bold and brave one. Did you really think you could escape from me?"
He said with an air of confidence around him as he made another remark while trying to make Lana recall that she could not escape him no matter what.
"Did you forget who you belong to?"
Lana hesitated, unsure of what to say because he was asserting his dominance over her. She did not want to reveal the plan she had in her mind, but she knew that lying to the supreme alpha was dangerous and could end her life in an instant. Lana lowered her head while making it obvious unconsciously that she was planning something. The woman displayed the feelings of shame to ensure the alpha that she forgot her place for some time. She knew that she had made a mistake, and that her actions had severe consequences.


"I belong….."
It was Lana’s last chance to confront the alpha because this time he was the one who started it. She decided immediately and then finally spoke hoping that the alpha would definitely give her some response. Lana wanted to get an answer why he was using her as a slave and for what benefit.

“I belong to no one! Do I even belong to one person?”
Lana spoke with a slightly higher pitch making sure that the alpha would get the gist of her intentions. She did not intend to let the alpha use her as he wished to, and for that she needed to confront him. The woman intentionally mentioned the latter part to make Sahan realise that he could not sell her.
The supreme alpha raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical at her words. Lana felt a chill run down her spine at her own words. She knew that the punishment for spouting those things and to talk back to the supreme since the consequences could be severe. But she also knew that she had to face it, no matter what.


"I find that hard to believe that you belong to no one, dearie.”
Sahan playfully spoke while reaching for her blonde hairlock which made Lana’ attention waver back in the whirlpool of emotions. Lana felt a jolt of surprise as Sahan reached for her hairlock because that was not something which she was expecting from him at that moment. She was not used to seeing this side of the alpha, playful yet dominant at the same time.


"But if you try to deny my authority over you again, there will be consequences."
He released her arms while looking at her with his glowing eyes and Lana stumbled back a few steps, feeling weak and disoriented with the thoughts which had been running in her mind.
