“About me?” I asked her confused. I would’ve thought she was talking about my reputation, but the way she was saying it had a different meaning to it.

“You left quiet an impression on my daughter.” she said taking a drink from her cup.

Now I was really confused. “I’m sorry but I think you may have the wrong Alpha?” I answered her with a smile.

She shook her head “Oh no Alpha King Elias,” She said putting inferences on the king. “I’m pretty sure it’s you. You and my daughter had quiet the ‘Shocking’ night, about two weeks ago. Hmmmm” She giggled at her own private joke, then took another sip of her drink.

I thought hard about it for a second then my eye went wide. “Your-”

“That’s right, you left quite the impression on my Mila,” She said then she looked me up and down “I could see why,”

I couldn’t believe it, I was talking to Mila’s mother, which means that Mila was a princess. What in the actual fuck.

“And your here with your, Wife?” She asked as she raised an eyebrow.

“And what does that mean?” Lilith asked me.

“I don’t love her, I haven’t loved her for a very long time.” I explained.

“And my daughter?” Lilith questioned.

“Your daughter,” I started wondering how I should explain my feelings “Your daughter is someone I have very strong feelings for. I think she’s my second chance.”

Lilith just smiled at me and took a sip of her drink. “If I was you I wouldn’t go telling her father that he’s kinda, over protective you can say.”

“Of course, what father isn’t.” I smiled at her.

“Well, I could tell you that there’s a certain someone here, on that far end of the room.” She said nodding to the right. I looked in direction and saw her, Mila. She had just walked into the room, her long curly hair was pinned up a few strands framing her beautiful face. The grey dress she wore was low cut showing off her beautiful breast, it was tight and showed off her hourglass figure. The dress came down to her feet, with a side split that came up to mid thigh.
She was beautiful, so very very beautiful. Speechless and I couldn’t stop staring at her. I didn’t even realize that Lilith wasn’t standing next to me anymore.

I watched as Mila talked with other guest. She laughed and smiled at their conversations, and I became jealous. Jealous because she wasn’t sharing her beautiful smile with me. Jealous that she wasn’t near me. All in all I was just jealous. I was thinking of the many different ways I could get her attention. Then she looked around, and her eyes found mine and I stiffen not sure what to do.

Her eyes grew wide with surprise, then a smirk appeared on her face. She grabbed two glasses of champagne and made her way over to me. I watched as her hips swayed seductively as she walked, her eyes not leaving mine.

She stopped in front of me and I felt the shocks when she hand me the glass and our fingers touched. Such bliss. “Hello Alpha Elias,” she said my name rolling off her tongue like smooth silk. Then we both just got quiet and stared at each other for a moment. A smirk playing on both of our faces. I dont know what was going through her head. She noticed Mila standing there and a frown appeared on her face that she tried to cover up with a fake smile.
“And you are?”

“Mila Descoundres, Princess of the demon empire.” Mila introduced herself.

“Dianna woods, I’m the Queen of the Werewolf empire. Also Elias’s mate and wife.” She add the last two parts just to add to her rank.

I saw a look of disappointment flash on Mila’s face “Your mated?” She asked more towards me then Dianna.

“Yes for 72 years.” Dianna responded. My hatred for Dianna right now was through the roof. I could just see the sadness in Mila’s eyes and it broke my heart. And made my wolf Alec whimper in sadness.

“Well, congratulations to you both then, and will you excuse me.” With that Mila walked away.

Dianna was lucky I didn’t hit women because I wanted to punch the shit out of her at this very moment.

She turned to me and gave me a sly look before walking off.
