37- Talk Between Angels
The Rouge Empire
Michael and Nuala were getting ready to finally be apart of the council. They knew that they wouldn’t automatically be accepted in, one because she was a female ruler and he was an angel, Well Ex-angel. And the other fact because they run an empire that she started herself, they weren’t apart of the others they were their own people with their own set of rules, and she knew that some of the other council members wouldn’t like that.
Michael was changing in to his dress shirt when a feather of an angels wing fluttered through the window. On that feather was a message for him to meet the owner of that feather outside of the barrier of the rouge empire. Michael thought about it for a moment, and was going to deny it, but then he thought if he could talk to this angel and reason with him then maybe just maybe they wouldn’t have to go to war.
Quickly he got finished dressing, wrote a quick not to Nuala telling her he would meet her there, and then he was off.
It didn’t take long to get to the location, it was a field filled with nothing but flowers and a pond, what can go wrong here right?
He only waited for a moment before he came face to face with the owner of the feather.
“Hello Michael,” he started his large white wings tucked neatly behind his back. He wore a white tunic with a gold rope tied around his waist that held a sword, and a pair of gold sandals on his feet. His hair was soft to the touch and light brown and he had blue eyes.
“Gabriel,” Michael said with a sharp nod.
Gabriel gave a playful frown “You don’t look to happy to see me Michael”
“What do you want Gabriel you’re the one that called me out.” Michael said.
Gabriel just sighed. “I want you to come home brother,” He stated “Heaven is not the same without you, father is not the same with out you, I’m, not the same with out you.” He said. “Father even agreed to return your white wings to you. Isn’t that wonderful you’ll be an angel again and together you and I will cleanse this world of all it’s filth.” He was excited to have his brother back. Gabriel was closer with Michael then anyone else. When Michael was banished from heaven, Gabriel cried and cried for days on end.
Michael stiffened and clenched his fist. “I’m sorry Gabriel but I cant do that.”
Gabriel’s happy expression slowly turned to one of confusion. “Why?” He asked lowly. Then his face turned to one of anger and hatred, because he knew the answer. He knew why Michael wouldn’t come back, the same reason why he was banished in the first place. “It’s because of that woman isn’t it.” He stated.
“I love her Gabriel,” Michael stated with nothing but love in his voice. “And if loving her is a sin and would keep me from heaven, then so be it.” He then turned to walk away. He honestly didn’t know why he came out, as if he could talk Gabriel out of attacking everyone he thinks of as filth.
Gabriel started to shake with anger, he hated that woman who took his brother away and he hated his brother for not wanting to come back home and wanting to stay with that woman. And if he had to kill Michael to keep them apart from each other. “Then so be it” He said lowly to himself.
Grabbing his sword, he charged at Michael, trying to stab him in the back. But Michael quickly side steps and punched Gabriel in the stomach.
Then Michael Flew in the air. “What do you think you’re doing Gabriel?′ Michael asked angrily “Attacking someone who taught you how to fight, Ha, your form is still sloppy.”
Angry Gabriel charged at Michael again this time aiming for his head, Michael seeing the attack coming uses his wings to block and knock the sword out of Gabriel's hand. He then rushes into Gabriel knocking the wind out of him and causes him to fall to the ground.
“You can’t beat me Gabriel, especially not now I don’t play by his rules anymore.” Michael said as he hovered above Gabriel. He was shocked and confused when Gabriel started laughing.
“That’s funny,” He said gasping “Because neither do I.” The sky grew dark and the clouds boomed with thunder. Michael turned slightly only to be struck with lightning.
Gabriel laughed as Michael fell to the floor unconscious. Then he dragged his body to the pond and threw him in, locking him in a water cell. Michael groaned as the water hit his body. He looked up and saw Gabriel standing at the edge of the pond a smirk on his face.
“Well I gotta go, got a council to destroy.” Then he flew away.
Michaels eyes grew wide as he remembered everyone that was going to be there. But how the hell was he going to escape the water cell?
