23- The Elders And The Replacement

THIRD PERSON POV:

She raced down the hallway not caring about the weird confusing looks she got from the staff in the mansion. Dianna hadn’t seen Elias in a month maybe even more. And in that time she came to a conclusion, she really wanted her mate back. It wasn’t about a possesiveness because he was with someone else or anything like that. It was, after spending such a long time away from him, not seeing him, not talking to him even if they were always arguing. She realized just how much she really wanted to be with him.

Now that she heard he was back she was rushing to see him. When she made it to his door she pushed it open only to see him behind his desk working on paper work. A small smile appeared on her face before she covered it up.

“Elias.” she said and he looked up at her. “Your back.”

His face was blank as he looked at her.

“You were gone,” She started as she stepped more into his office letting the door close behind her. “Your father took over and I tried to ask him where you were but he said it was none of my concern and that changes were going to be made.” She said laughing at the last part.

“And he was right,” Elias said. His voice held no emotions. Even though he was beyond pissed off at her he didn’t want it to show. He had something else in plan, something that he knew would break her and he would laugh at her reactions, he entwined his fingers and leaned forward on the desk. “Where I was doesn’t concern you, Some changes are going to be made, and I can assure you, you will not like any one of them.”

“I’m your mate Elias, why wont you tell me where you were at, Why wont anyone tell me where you were at?!?” She yelled, she could feel her temper rising, as her anger was starting to take over. How dare he? She was the Luna Queen, she had a right to know.

“Like I said there are going to be some changes that you aren’t going to like.” Then he looked down at his watch. “In fact, you saved me alot of trouble of finding you, there’s an important meeting that we need to attend.”

With that he stood up and walked past her, and she knew she had to follow him. She didn’t know what to expect as they walked down the halls to the conference room. When Elias opened the door, what she saw there angered and scared her.

The room was large and looked like a court room. The five elders were the oldest wolves in the Empire. Mildred, William, Sara, Jameson, and Harrison. They all sat behind the bench.

Mila sat patiently in front of the elders. They all seemed to be talking among each other, they would glance over to her from time to time, and give her a little smile and nod. Both her and Elias’s parents sat behind her.

The door opened and Elias walked in, Dianna trailing not far behind him. Originally Mila would have gotten jealous, but seeing the color drain from Dianna’s face was way more than amusing. When she made eye contact with Elias a wide smile appeared on her face as well as his. Immediately he made his way over to her and kissed her on the cheek.

Dianna felt nothing but hatred for that woman as she watched her mate show public affection to another woman, then sit down next to her. Dianna sat as far away from them as she could.

“Alpha King Elias,” William started “He looked of a man no older then 50. But everyone knew he was older, The oldest out of all the Elders in fact. His short hair was black and held grey strands, the only wrinkles on his face was the ones nears his eyes and mouth. To say fairly, he was a handsome man. “You have called us here for an emergency meeting, well, what is the emergency?”

Elias stood up and moved to the middle of the floor. “Elder William, Elder Mildred, Elder Sara, Elder Jameson and Elder Harrison. I apologize for calling you out on such a short notice. But this is a very important matter?”

“We appreciate your apology Alpha King Elias, But you still failed to tell us what this matter is.” Elder Sara said. Her long brown hair was pulled back into a braided ponytail. Her face was ageless and held no make up. The only way you would be able to tell her age was in her tired brown eyes.

“Yes, Well the matter is,” Elias paused dramatically “The removal of Luna Queen Dianna from her position.”

There was gasps and the elders started to talk between each other.

“On what grounds?” Elder William asked.

“Exactly nine days ago, Luna Queen Dianna in the middle of the night went to a witch by the name of Joanna. A witch who is known for her talent in love charms and spells. Luna Queen Dianna asked the witch to make her a potion in which will charm me into falling in love with her and forgetting about my affections for Princess Mila, breaking us apart. I believe that in itself is a crime.” Elias stated proudly as he eyed Dianna with anger.

Dianna’s heart was pounding in her chest as she heard all the Elders gasps and talk in low voices. The only thing she was thinking was how the hell did he find out?!? But she wouldn’t give in, she was going to fight this and that’s exactly what she did.

“That is a lie!” Dianna yelled “You may be the Alpha King Elias, but how dare you try to put dirt on my name and call me a liar.”

“Alpha King Elias, this is a very serious accusation, do you have any proof that these events took place.” Elder Harrison asked. His long hair was silver and his eyes were brown his eyes held few wrinkles but was ageless.

“In fact I do, the witness herself is here today, So that she can tell you herself.” Elias said as he looked at Dianna. The fear on her face was clearly read as she just realized that she just got caught.

“Alright bring in the witness.” Elder William said.

The doors opened and in walked in Joanna. Her red hair pulled into a high bun showing of her caramel skin that hid under a red and black sleeveless dress. Behind her followed another woman dressed elegantly in a Light blue Off the shoulder dress with black design. Her long wavy white hair was up in a half bun and the rest hung down low to her knees. Her skin was beautifully tan and her eyes were violet as she held her head up with pride and power. A tall muscular man trailed last. His golden blonde hair was wavy and came down to his shoulders. His eyes were the color of the sky and he glowed just like an angel.

Lucifer sat back and eyed the man, he let out a small chuckle as he recognized him right away, how could he forget. And now he was here on earth just like him. He wondered what gods right hand man did to lose his beautiful white wings.

Joanna stopped beside Elias. “Elders, I am the Witch Joanna.” She introduced herself.

“It is nice to meet you child,” Elder Sara “I assume you know what you are doing here.”

“Yes I do, Elder Sara.”

“And you understand what would happen it turns our that you were lying right?”

“I do Elder Sara.” Joanna answered.

Elder Sara looked behind Joanna, “And may I ask who are you?” She asked the two extras that followed in behind Joanna. The woman and the man walked up beside Joanna. “Good evening Elders, I know that we showed up unexpectedly but giving the situation I couldn’t let one of my own show up without any guidance.” She paused and let the Elders looked between each other. “My name is Nuala Evergreen, Queen of the Rogue Empire.” There was gasps between the Elders as well as in the room the loudest one coming from Mila. She was one that always wanted to meet the Queen of Rogues. She made a mental note to meet with her after this trial maybe even have dinner with her. Be friends, the best of friends, the thought excited her as a huge grin appeared on her face.

Elias couldn’t help but give Mila a strange look as he watched the mother of his children go all google eyes over another woman.

“And this is Michael, a fallen angel.” Nuala continued. The whispers continued but then there was a chuckle coming from behind them. They turned their heads to see Lucifer with a wide grin on his face. Michael just grinned with him and turned back around.

“I hope you wouldn’t mind our sit in as well.” Nuala said.

The elders looked between each other and just nodded, and Nuala and Michael took their seats. Michael and Lucifer making eye contact as he walked by, a grin on both of their faces.

“Any way, Joanna about these events concerning Luna Queen Dianna.”

Joanna nodded then told the Elders all the events that took place that night. Dianna shaking with anger couldn’t believe she was being ratted out by a witch, but then again she knew they couldn’t be trusted.

“This is very interesting information, Ms, Joanna but do you have any proof.” Elder Harrison asked.

“In fact I do.” Joanna stated then she reached into her bag and pulled out the brush that Dianna gave her and the piece of hair she cut from Dianna. “Luna Queen Dianna said that this brush belonged to Alpha King Elias, and that is a piece of her hair.”

That was all the evidence that the Elders needed.

“Luna Queen Dianna, do you have anything to say about this?” Elder William asked.

Dianna was quiet she had nothing else to say, what else could she say, she had been caught red handed. There was nothing else she could do. So she just sat there. The Elders just shook their heads.

“Alpha King Elias, if we grant this request, The Wolf Empire will need a Luna Queen.” Elder Harrison said.

“I already know that,” Then he stretched out his hand to Mila and she took it. “Mila Descoundres, the princess of Demon Empire. I plan on making her the Luna Queen. She has the manners, the respect,” he paused dramatically “she’s my chosen mate and the mother of my future pups.” His hands went over her stomach as he said this.

There was gasps, and Dianna couldn’t believe what she was hearing her mate got another woman pregnant was just too much. Her eyes were wide is shock when she realized her face was wet. She touched her own face and realized that, she was crying.

“Is this true Princess Mila, Are you with child?” Elder Sara asked.

Mila was almost afraid to answer, but she knew she had to show that she had what it take to be Luna Queen which meant showing pride and no fear.

“Yes, it is with triplets.” Mils responded.

Dianna felt her face become wetter. She always wanted children and now that mate stealer was taking everything from her. Her mate, Her title, her life. Mila was getting everything Dianna wanted and Dianna knew it was all her fault, she just didn’t want to admit it.

The Elders looked between each other as if having a secret conversation. “You do know this will be the first Hybrid child in history right?” Elder William asked.

“Ye-” Mila started before she was interrupted.

“Actually that is not true.” The all turned and saw Queen Nuala stand up.

“It’s not, you say?” Elder Sara asked.

“No,” Nuala said walking up to the Elders. “In my empire there are many hybrid children. Some fox and wolf hybrids, some witch and vampire hybrids and many more, with many different combinations. And some weren’t chosen mates either, there were couples that were actually mated together.”

There was whispers going through the whole room. Elias and Mila could tell that the Elders didn’t believe it.

“I’m willing to go there and check things out if the Elders are feeling unsure about things.” Elias offered “I’m sure my father wouldn’t mind standing in for a few more days.”

“And I’ll go with him” Mila said a little too eagerly “You never know there may be some one there that can give us some information on our children.”

The Elders looked at each other for a moment, then nodded.

“Alpha King Elias, we grant the motion.” Elder started then he turned to Dianna “Luna Queen Dianna you are removed from both your title and position as Luna Queen. You have no more authority or power that comes with the title and position of Luna Queen.” Dianna dropped as she felt all the extra power drained from her body. Tears ran down her face as she felt hopeless and weak.

Elder William then turned to Elias and Mila “Mila Descoundres, Princess of the Demon empire. Do you take on the duties of Luna Queen of The Wolf Empire. Will you take on the responsibilities of the people and your chosen mate?”

Mila took a deep breath and rose her head “I do.” She shuttered as she felt a whole new energy fill me it was something different and she felt more powerful.

“Thank you Elders.” Elias and Mila said.

The elders got up and then walked out the side door.

Mila waited for all the Elder to leave before she made her way past Elias almost knocking him down. “Queen Nuala” Mila said causing Nuala to turn and face her.

“Well, Princess Mila, Well Luna Queen Mila.” Nuala said giving her a slight bow.

“Wow, it’s an honor to meet you, Queen Nuala and I must say you are gorgeous.” Mila said blushing.

“Your too kind Luna Queen Mila, your gorgeous yourself.” Nuala said.

Mila just giggled wildly and blushed even more.

“If I’m not mistaken I would say that the Rogue Queen is flirting with my Mate,” Elias laughed as he wrapped his arm around her waist. “Should I be worried?” He joked.

“Oh stop it Eli, I just always wanted to meet her thats all.” Mila said not taking her eyes off of Nuala.

“I’m very flattered and I would love to have you at my Empire. We can get to know each other more. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the stay.” Nuala said a warm smile on her face.

Mila’s eyes went wide, then she turned to Eli “When can we leave?” She asked him with excitement.

“How about tomorrow, Mila, you need your rest.” Elias told her and she started to pout.

“But Eli,” She whined

“He’s right Luna Queen Mila, You need your rest, you need to save up alot of energy, because those three are going to take alot out of you.” Nuala said.

“Ok.” Mila agreed quickly “Come on Eli lets go to bed.” She said as she pulled Elias to the door. He just laughed “Good night everyone.” He said as she pulled him out the door. And it closed behind them.
