Book 2: 23- A Declaration Of War

Third Person POV:

Wolf Empire

Axl sat in his office, in a chair behind his desk. He just stared at the three men in front of him. He had asked for everyone to come and greet him. After all this would be the first time anyone has really seen the Alpha King in days. But Only the three men showed up. Damen, Deo and his Beta Ryan, all were highly confused about the whole situation. How could there be an Axl with an Elias? But no matter how much they wanted to ask, no one dared say anything to the dominant Alpha king in the room.

You could say that Damen wasn't too happy about the whole situation no matter how much he didn't understand it. He wasn't counting on his father coming back from the darkness of depression. Nor was he counting on him coming back as only Axl. Axl was the worst to deal with, he wasn't as understanding as Elias.

Axl growled out breaking the silence.

"I said I wanted everyone here," He growled out angrily. "Where the hell are the rest of my pups?" He asked everyone.

Beta Ryan was the first to speak up, "Honestly, Alpha King Axl, I have no idea where everyone else is. The last time I checked they were having a so-called sibling meeting." Beta Ryan knew exactly what he was doing. He was pushing all of the heat off of him, and onto the twins as Axl looked at the twins.

"A Sibling meeting?" He questioned the twins an amusing look on his face.

"Yes," Damen spoke up "But we weren't invited."

"And why was that?"

"Our dear brothers and sisters believe were difficult to deal with."

"And where are they now."

"They left in a portal to the demon empire with Lilith and her boy toy Cain," Damen explained as he growled out Cain's name. Axl found his amusing. He knew something must have happened in order for him to be pissed.

"So all of my pups are in the demon empire?" Axl asked and Damen and Deo nodded their heads.

"I don't know how Lilith got in, we set up a barrier that should have stopped the demons from entering," Damen said and Axl gave him a confused look. "When dad was out of it, Deo and I took over and cut off all communication with the Demon Empire."

Axl was quiet as he stood up, he walked over to his bar and started pouring himself a drink. Swirling his drink in his cup, he walked back to his desk and sat back in his seat. Everyone was silent, until Axl broke that silence once again.

"So," He started as he looked into his drink. "Communication was cut off with Demon Empire, A stronger Barrier was put in place to keep the demons out, Yet Lilith came in a portal, and took my pups from their home. I believe that's called kidnapping what do you guys think?"

Damen couldn't help but smirk. He knew exactly what was going to happen and right now him and Axl was finally was on the same page.

"What do you suppose we do then Alpha King Axl?" Damen asked and Axl was silent again as he became deep in thought. Then a sinister smirk appeared on his face as he downed the rest of his drink and pick up the phone pressed speaker and started to dial a number. The phone rang, and on the third ring a deep voice answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Demon King Lucifer, This is Alpha King Axl and I believe you have something of mine," Axl stated and there was silence on the other end. It took a few moments before Lucifer answered.

"Axl?" Confusion laced his voice.

"That's Alpha King Axl and you have something of mine that needs to be returned," Axl answered.

"I have nothing that belongs to you or will ever be yours," Lucifer growled out his voice laced with anger.

"Of course you do," Axl answered. "My pups and my mate. I want them back..... All of them."

Lucifer let out a loud deep-throated laugh. "They'll never be yours, I shouldn't have given my daughter to you in the first place."

"If you don't return my property, be prepared to face the consequences."

"Your property?!? Is that all you think of them?!?" Lucifer yelled through the phone.

Axl just chuckled.

"And consequence?!? Do you really think you can cause me any harm?" Lucifer laughed. "You can try but you wont succeed."

"Are declaring war?"

"If that's what it takes to wipe the scum of you off the face of this earth, then so be it."

"Then war it is."

"Don't worry I'll make sure to make your death nice and painful." Lucifer chuckled darkly before he hung up the phone.

Everyone was silent in the room. But this time Beta Ryan broke the silence.

"Alpha are we really going to war with the Demon king?"

"If that's what it takes, no one is going to disrespect the Alpha King and get away with it. I'll make sure to use them as an example."
