25- Cut Off and Put In Her Place

DIANNA POV:

I couldn’t believe it, I couldn’t fucking believe it. How could he replace me, how could they let him replace me? I paced back and forth inside my room. The only thing good that came out of this, was that I was still allowed to live in the mansion. Only because I was his true mate. But I think this shit is worst because then I get to see the two of them being all lovey dovey all the time. Quickly not paying any attention to the eyes that watched me, I made my way out of the mansion.

Walking into the garage, I walked to the guard. “Give me the keys to the Benz.” I told him, my voice laced with venom. He gave me a questioning look then just laughed.

“Sorry Dianna,” He said as he spat out my name. “But Alpha King Elias said to not give you anymore access to any of the cars.”

“Then what the hell am I suppose to do?!?” I yelled glaring at him.

“Take a cab.” he said with a smirk on his face. I just glared at him, then turned on my heels and walked out of the garage.

I saw Kelly a friend of mine and asked her for a ride, she agreed. Driving to a bar, I needed to get out of there and I needed to get a drink, badly. Kelly decided that she needed one too.

“Damn girl I can’t believe that they just dismissed your ass like that.” Kelly said as she downed her drink. She ran her fingers through her red bob that looked wonderful against her pale skin. Angrily I downed my drink and slammed it back down, signaling the bartender over to hand me another drink and so he did.

Pouring me another drink I downed that as well. “Don’t I fucking know it.”

“Well at least you get to stay in the mansion.” Kelly said.

“How the fuck is that any better?!?” I yelled. “I’ll have to walk around seeing them together like a fucking happy couple, and her walking around pregnant!!”

Kelly almost spit out her drink as she looked at me wide eyed. “She’s pregnant?”

“Yeah the sluts pregnant.” I answered with venom in my voice.

“No fucking way,” She said with a chuckle “A hybrid Alpha demon baby. That’s going to be one powerful child.”

I was fucking pissed off, that fucking bitch was living the life I was suppose to be living. I hated it but what I hated most is the gut feeling that I knew deep down inside I was refusing to admit it. To admit that no matter what this was all my fault. If only I had been a faithful mate. If only I hadn’t lost my mates trust. But as I drank more and more my guilt and self pity turned into hatred. If only that demon bitch didn’t come around. If only she hadn’t seduced him. If only he hadn’t fallen in love with her. I could’ve asked for a second chance. I would have begged if I needed to.

“I’m ready to go.” I told Kelly. She nodded to me and finished her drink. I put down my card to pay, the bartender picked it up and went to scan it. Then a few minutes later came back and said something that embarrassed the shit out of me.

“Your card has been declined.” He said louder then he really needed to, an amusing smirk played on his face. “I was informed by Alpha King Elias to cut your card.” With that he took a pair of scissors and cut it in half in front of everyone. I heard whispers and the chuckles from everyone around me. My anger and hatred only grew as I started breathing heavily.

“Don’t worry Dianna, I got it." Kelly said as she paid for our drinks. I was going to kill Elias when I got back. The ride home was quiet and I knew Kelly could just feel my anger radiating off of me. She didn’t ask me any questions, she just nervously gripped the steering wheel. When we got there, I just jumped out of the car slamming the door behind me. I just stomped my way through the mansion, and made my way straight up stairs. The door slammed against the wall as I pushed it open with force.

“Elias you Son of a Bitch!” I yelled, imagine my shock when the person sitting in the chair was non other then the person I hate. The Demon bitch Mila.

She looked up at me with a confused look as she sat back in the chair, her small baby bump sticking out from under her dress. “Dianna, What can I help you with?” She asked.

No matter how much I hate to admit it, she was a beautiful woman. I just glared at her. “Where’s Elias and why are you sitting there?” I asked her crossing my arms.

She just shrugged “Last time I saw him, he was leaving with Ryan to go to a meeting with my father, and the kingdom needs someone to look after it.”

“Oh and your the one.” I said the venom in my voice was clear as day. But she didn’t seem to be affected by it.

Then a sly smile appeared on her face “Well, I know how to run a kingdom, I was a princess you know. Before I became Luna Queen, So yes I am the one.”

I was going to say something when someone knocked on the door. She told her to come in and Kyle came in. “Luna Queen Mila.” He said and she nodded. “I have some paper work for you to sign.” He said walking over and placing a folder on the desk. She opened it, and read through the pages. I just stood there and watching them.

“May I speak freely Luna Queen.” Kyle asked. She just hummed and nodded her head. “It’s about a festival.” Then he paused looking nervously back at me. Mila looked up at him then at me.

“Speak freely Delta Kyle, the only person you should be afraid of in this room is me.“She said with a smile. He nodded and cleared his throat.

“I was wondering if we could have a festival for the orphans. It’s been a while since they had any type of fun, and I think it would be amazing if we could have a festival along with a carnival.”

Mila’s eyes lit up when he spoke of it. “That would be amazing, Kyle lets get this started.”

“The financial de-”

“What ever it is we’ll pay for it.” She told him happily.

I just scuffed and then all eyes were on me. Mila gave me a look of distaste and sat up. “And what exactly are you doing here, Dianna.”

“I came to talk about my card and phone being turned off.” I told her narrowing my eyes at her. I hated her. I hated how she looked like she belonged in that position, like it was meant to be hers.

“Oh I did that.” She said eyeing me as she sat back.

My eyes just went wide. “What the fuck, Why the hell would you do that and who give you that right? You don’t have anything to do with me and Elias’s problems, your nothing but a slut that slept her way into power. And now your pregnant with Elias’s child, I don’t see any coincidence there.” I just smirked as I watched the many emotions cross her face.

She waved Kyle off and then narrowed her eyes at me. She was silent for a while as she just stared at me. “It’s no secret that you don’t like me.” She said. “And honestly I don’t care, In fact I thank you, for all your stupidity and whoreish ways. If it wasn’t for you being a slut I wouldn’t be where I am today. With a man that I love and a man that loves me. A child that we made together. Something that you will never get a chance to have.”

I just stared there looking at her in shock, I never expected her to say that. Hell, I didn’t know what to say. “What the hell is that suppose to mean?”

“You spend your time chasing something that is never going to happen. You are never going to get Eli back, You are never going to get this position back.” She just sat back and smirked at me.

“You have no rig-”

“In fact I do!” Her voice boomed loudly.

“This,” She said looking around “Is my kingdom, Elias is my man and I am carrying his seed. I have more right then you will ever dream off.”

Pissed off I stood across from her and placed my hands on the desk and glared at her. “Your nothing but a slut. And you and your bastard chil-”

It was fast almost to fast I didn’t even see it coming, it was just a blur. The next thing I knew was I was up against the wall off the ground with Mila’s hand tight around my throat. I looked at her and her eyes were just red.

“Listen you idiotic bitch,” She growled in my face. “I’m getting sick and tired of your bull shit, In fact you should be thanking me. If I hadn’t persuaded Eli to let you stay your ass would be out on the street right now.” I could just feel the anger radiating off of her. I gripped her hand hoping to loosen the grip a bit but she just tighten her grip, chocking me.

“Now you will respect me.” She said and a tear dripped down my face. Then she brought her face closer to mine, so close I could smell the scent of chocolate on it. “And the next time you call me or my children out of our name. Will be the last time you take a breath. Understand?” She said and I nodded rapidly. Then she dropped me one the floor and turned her back to me.

“Get out.” She whispered. When she didn’t hear me move she turned to me anger in her eyes “I said get the hell out!!”

Then I got up and walked out of the office and went to my room slamming the door behind me. I never expected her to do that, hell she never seemed like the type. Now I felt humiliated and my hatred was over the limit.

There was only one way to get them back, and if I couldn’t have my position or Elias. She couldn’t have him or the position. Even if I have to burn this Empire down to the ground and slit Elias throat with my own hand, she would never have what’s rightfully mine.
