36- Talk Of War PT: 2

It didn’t take long for the 6 Alpha’s and their beta of the Wolf Empire to fill the meeting room. Eli sat at the head of the table with Mila by his side.

“Now I called this emergency meeting so that we can discuss what was happening inside the Wolf Empire.” Eli said speaking loudly and clearly, everyone was quiet. “As we all know the abnormal situation about Alpha Townsends Pact, after discussing the matter with a few alias of mine. I have come to the decision that there is a traitor amongst our people.” Everyone started talking at once, all words of agreeance with Eli. Eli raised his hand, and everyone grew quiet. “Now, as Alpha’s and Betas of the Wolf Empire you represent your pacts and your options matter to me, so tell me what you think.”

Everyone started talking all at once again until a loud voice boomed over the rest of them. “I believe you are correct Alpha King Elias,” Alpha Townsend spoke loudly. He was a large man with a brown army cut, his body was all muscle and he reached at least 7ft with dark eyes. “There’s now way in hell that the Purifiers would know to attack at that place at that moment with out the help of someone from the inside. Plus the fact that they didn’t really do anything dangerous was completely out of the ordinary for them.”

Eli just nodded in agreeance.

“Do you have someone who you believe could be the spy?” Another Alpha asked.

Eli stood up straight and his face harden “In fact, I do,” he started “I believe that the Ex Luna Queen Dianna had something to do with it.”

Everyone started talking again, words like ‘What a bitch’ and ‘figures’ filled the air.

Then someone raised their hand.

“Beta Marco you have something to say?” Eli asked. Beta Marco was the beta to the BlackMoss Pact. A pact that laid right at the edge of the Wolf Empire borders.

“Well I also believe that Dianna did it.” Marco said, Eli and everyone was quiet as they waited for him to continue. “Well, you see about two nights about when I was doing my rounds, I saw Dianna cross the border onto the unmarked lands. I wanted to help her because she helped me once when I was a child so I waited for her. It was about an hour or two before she came back. When she crossed the border she turned and was looking at someone I didn’t see who it was but soon she just went back to the mansion.”

Anger coursed through Eli’s veins, Mila sensing it gently touched his hand which seemed to calm him down as he turned to his Beta. “Beta Ryan, I want you to find Diann and bring her to the cells, if she is the spy I will definitely get answers.” With a sharp nod, Ryan got out of his seat and left the room.

The rest of the meeting was filled with talk of doubling defenses and training their warriors more. Being prepared for anything at any time, Eli always said.

“Elia!” Ryan panicked through mind link.

“What is it?”

“Dianna’s gone, I looked everywhere for her and when I did a closer check of her room, I found Kal’s body in the closet, his throat was slit.”

“Shit”

“Alright make your way back now!” With that Eli cut off the connection and the anger that he felt was all to real as he slammed his hands on the oak table, Everyone grew quiet.

“It’s time to put your skills to the test now men, Dianna has escaped, I don’t know when the next attack is coming or who’s going to be attacked. But I do know this we are one so we must fight as one. We will not let these murderers get the best of us we will over come this and become even stronger. I want you all to set a curfew, for the citizens, 7pm. I know it’s early but until this problem is solved then our people’s safety is our top priority.”

Everyone cheered when Eli finished his speech, they all shook hands and parted ways getting ready for the big war that was to come.

“Come on Mila lets get ready for the council meeting.” Eli said as he helped Mila out of her chair to prepare for yet another meeting to attend to.
