One Week Later

The Wolf Empire

CORY POV:

It's been a week since we seen our father. A week since we seen Daria or Gabriel. A week since we seen our mother and a week since Deo and Damen took over the Wolf Empire.

Being that Daria's gone, me and Lori had to take over at watching over the siblings. We couldn't depend on Damen or Deo. It was like something snapped in them the day that Daria, disappeared. They didn't seem to care about anything anymore, the only thing they are interested in was taking over the Empire from dad. And then starting a war against grandpa.

It doesn't seem like Dad is putting in too much effort to stop them either. He never comes out of his room or participate in the empire decisions. He left everything to them, and so far things aren't going well.

It's only been a week and Damen and Deo already cut off all communication with the Demon Empire as well as the Rouge Empire. They are blaming the grandpa for mom, Daria and Gabriel disappearing and saying that he probably kidnapped them and hid them somewhere. Things really aren't looking good and it won't be long before Damen and Deo declare war on grandpa and the way they are trash talking Grandpa. They'll have all the pacts on their side.

"Cory are we really going to do this?" My younger twin Lori asked. Me and her looked exactly alike. We both had light brown hair with streaks of silver running through it. Her hair was more curly then mine though and she kept it cut short like a pixie cut. My hair was more wavy but I had it cut short as well. Both of our eyes were Violet, and our skin was olive. We were both almost the same height I was only an inch taller then her. Lori was just becoming a woman, so her body was just starting to develop curves. I on the other was starting to develop muscles from working out with my friends.

"We don't have a choice Lori, if we don't look out for us Drake and Lani then no one will." I told her as we waited for Drake and Lani in the room we shared together.

"We could always just wait for mom or Daria to come back." Lori said and I shook my head.

"It's already been a week Lori we can't wait any more." I told her. Sighing Lori nodded her head. She knew I was right, we needed took look out for us now. WE had to.

It wasn't long before the door opened and Drake came in carrying Lani in his arms, then closed the door behind them. Drake and Lani was a different pair, the looked nothing like the rest of us. Drake was a split image of our grandfather Lucifer, thick short wavy light brown hair, grey eyes, and tan skin. And Lani looked like our grandmother Lilith who preferred us to call her Lili. She had long curly red hair, amber eyes and tan skin.

Drake was pretty mature for a boy of the age of seven, he could be pretty serious at times. But other than that, he was pretty cool and easy to get along with. Lani was adorable and loved to have fun and was pretty much a flirt. It was in her nature after all Lani was more demon then wolf as was Drake. What also made Lani special was the fact that she could see the future.

Me and Lori on the other hand were more Wolf then Demon. But that didn't mean we agreed with the Wolf laws.

"So what's this meeting about?" Drake asked as he sat down on my bed. Lani on his lap her head on his shoulder as she looked at us.

"Me and Lori was just thinking that maybe the Wolf empire isn't safe anymore." I told them.

Drake nodded as he stroked Lani's back. "I agree. I feel like Damen and Deo will be coming for me and Lani soon just because we look like Grandpa Luie and Lili."

"Me too Drakie" Lani said "Theres going to be a war soon Drakie."

Me and Lori's eyes widen. I knew it, I knew there was going to be a war.

"Do you know between who Lani?" I asked her.

"Hmmmm." Lani thought for a second.

"Grandpa and Daddy."

"I knew it." I said "Listen the decision I made for all of us is the decision to leave the wolf empire and to go live with in the Demon empire with Grandpa Luie."

"You want to leave?" Drake asked and I nodded.

"That does seem like the best option and it's not like Grandpa Luie wont accept us." Drake said.

"What do you think Lani?" I asked her.

"Where ever Drakie goes I'll go." She said proudly.

"Alright then it's settled, Everyone pack some clothes and lets meet back here, ok." I told them and they all agreed.

"Wait," Drake started and I gave him a questioning look. "What about Damen and Deo, you know they'll never let us out of the empire."

"Don't worry everything's planned, we'll be able to leave the empire without any problems. Lets just keep it on the down low, away from the alpha twins alright?"

Everyone nodded in agreement. Picking up Lani, Drake carried her to the door, as soon as he opened it, there stood Damen and Deo.

They glared as they looked at everyone, but we all kept a straight face, especially Drake.

"What's going on in here?" Damen asked. "A sibling meeting?"

"How come we weren't invited, I mean we are your older brothers." Deo spoke next.

Clearing my throat, I spoke up as I walked next to Drake and Lani. "Well since you two took on the role of Alpha from dad, we thought you guys would be two busy."

Damen just nodded and then walked into the room Deo following behind. "So what was this meeting all about?"

"Nothing much," I started with a shrug "We were just thinking of coming up with ways to make dad happy again, that's all."

As soon as I said this Damen's head snapped towards me. "Why are you trying to make him feel better?"

"Why wouldn't we want him to feel better?" I asked Damen. He was acting suspicious. "I mean he is our dad we would want him to feel better."

Damen looked at me and crossed is arms. "Dad is exactly where he wants to be, don't go bothering him."

"So dad wants to be in a dark room all by himself, instead of socializing with his own kids?" I asked crossing my own arms, why wouldn't they want us to talk to our own father.

"Why do you want us to stay away from dad, is it because you and Deo want to stay in power? And where is Daria and Mom I know that you two know." Lori said walking next to me. She always says what everyone is thinking. You can say she has no filter if you will.

Damen glared at Lori while Deo just looked guilty. "Just mind your business Lori and stay way from dad, you may want to or else you might end up just like Daria."

"What happened to Daria?" I asked.

Damen gave me a devilish smirk "You really want to know?"

"Of course I do."

"The truth is, Daria wont be coming back anytime soon." He paused dramatically "Because dad killed her."

Everyone was silent as shock took over all of us.

"He's feeling guilty right now, so he won't be able to handle his alpha duties, we'll be taking over. So stay away from dad or you'll be next."

With that Damen and Deo walked out of the room closing the door behind them. Leaving us with questions about our father. Did he really kill Daria? Does that mean he killed mom too?

"Don't worry," Lani said in an soft voice as she hugged Drake "Dari's not dead. Well not anymore at least."

"What happened to her?" I asked.

"Grandpa Luie helped her." Was all she said and I nodded.

"Everyone, go pack some clothes."

Drake carried Lani out the room and left.

Me and Lori on the other hand was already packed and ready to go.

"I'm gonna make a phone call." I told Lori and she nodded her head.

Taking out my phone, I held three for the speed dial. It rung a few time before the woman or the other end picked up.

“Hello.”

“Hi Lili.”

“How’s the plan Cory?” She asked.

“Everyone’s on board,” I told her “We almost got caught by Damien and Deo but we played it off.”

“Good let me know when your ready and I’ll have a portal ready for you guys.”

“Ok, I’ll let you know.”

"Be safe Cory, You and your brothers and sisters."

With that, our grandmother hung up the phone. I was going to make sure we got out of this Empire alive. One way or another.
