Book 2: 21- A Nightmarish Truth

Black.

That's all that surrounded Elias Woods was blackness. He was no where, he saw nothing, he could hear nothing, and when he tried to speak, nothing came out. There was just nothing.

Then in that darkness shined a light and then came a voice. The beautiful voice of his daughter Daria. She was calling out to him and laughing the way she use to laugh and Elias followed that light and that beautiful laugh of his pup. He wanted to see her, he wanted to touch her to hold her to beg her for forgiveness that he knew he didnt deserve but was going to do it anyway.

But the more Elias walked, the more he started to notice that he wasn't alone. He looked to his side and saw an identical copy of himself standing right next to him. The only thing different was that his eyes were pitch black. Elias knew that this was Axl, it was just like when him and Mila got trapped in that place after bonding for the first time.

Again Daria's sweet laughter echoed through the darkness and she called out to him again. Elias looking to the light and he could see and out line of his daughter. Looking back at Axl, Elias was terrified as Axl had a sinister smirk on his face. Then Axl looked at Daria and back at Elias. Elias already knew what was going through Axl head but he wasn't going to let him this time.

Elias made a run for Daria, determined to get to her first. But it seemed as if he was moving in slow motion and Axl ran past him. Elias was steps behind Axl, he could see everything. He saw how happy Daria was to see Axl, how she tried to give him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Then she saw how Axl wrapped his hands around her neck and began choking her.

Once again, Elias begged for Axl to stop but he didn't. Once again Elias watched as the face of his pup turned colors as she began to lose consciousness. Again he watched as the sadness crossed her face and it filled him with dread. And again he watched as he himself choked the life out of his own pup, unable to stop himself he just asked the question of why and he got the same answer.

"She wouldn't give up the information."

And Darkness filled in all light as Axl laughed, his sinister laughter echoing throughout the darkness.

Elias jumped up out of his sleep panting and drenched in sweat. It was that dream again. He's always had that dream, ever since that day. That dream has come every night keeping him from getting a goods night sleep not that he thought he deserved one. Maybe he deserved to be haunted for the rest of his life after all, he did kill his pup with his own hands.

He could feel Axl clawing at his mind, begging to be let in, but after what happened there was no way in hell he was giving him any kind of control. But for some reason Axl seemed to be going crazy in his head.

"Having difficulties sleeping?" He heard a voice ask. A heavenly voice he hadn't heard of in such a long time. But was also dreading at the moment. Elias turned, and under the light of the moon, stood his beautiful wife and the mother of his children.

"Mila." He said breathily as he started to get out of the bed. He was ecstatic, but as he saw the frown on her face he knew that she didn't feel the same.

She knows, she knows, she knows

Echoed throughout his head and his heart started to pound. But he was going to play this off, he had to because what if she didn't know....right?

"Where have you been?" He asked her "I've been soo worried about you, I've missed you."

"Oh I've been around." Was all Mila said. "You don't have to know."

Elias gave a dry chuckle. "What do you mean I don't have to know. I'm your mate, and your husband. I love you Mila." He said as he took another step closer to her.

"Yes you showed me just how much you love me." Mila said and he froze in his spot, his eyes wide with fear. "Yes, I know all about you killing our daughter Eli."

Eli was stuck, he didn't know what to say. He couldnt say anything, so he just dropped to his knees and started sobbing.

"I'-I'm so so so sorry Mila" he cried "I have no Idea what happened I just-just couldn't control him. And he wouldn't let go. He- we both just love you so much we just wanted you back that's all. But you know how head strong Daria is."

"So you prove your love by killing our daughter?"

Elias cried some more. "Please forgive me. I'll do anything, anything you want just name it and I'll do it."

Mila grinned at this. She was going to make him pay for killing her daughter. All the love she once had for him was now gone, and right now she wanted revenge.

As she walked towards Elias she knelt in front of him. "Really," She asked "You'll do anything?"

He nodded rapidly with out thinking and Mila smiled at him. Bringing a hand up she brushed back his bed hair and he smiled a small reassuring smile.

"Then I want you. To give me your soul." She said her face dropping to a scowl.

Elias barely had time to react. The only thing he could to was be confused and it showed on his face as Mila grabbed him by his throat bringing him up with her as she stood and lifted him in the air.

"Yes, I want your soul."

Something was off.

Damen and Deo didn't know what it was but something was off. After their whole deal with Cain and Lilith and their siblings just a few hours ago their whole house has been on lockdown. But now something was off.

"Something's not right." Damen told his brother and Deo nodded. "We have a barrier set up right?" Deo nodded again. Then what the hell could be this feeling?

"Lets go check on dad." Deo suggested and Damen agreed. Quickly the two brothers made their way to their fathers room. With out knocking they just opened the door and was shocked at what was going on. Their mother had their father a few feet off the ground by his throat. Automatically Damen went into defense mode while all the feelings of Deo missing his mother hit him like a wave.

"Mom" Deo said and Mila looked at the two boys.

"Not now boys, I'll deal with you two later. Right now it's time for your fathers punishment." Mila said and she looked back at Elias. "Well what do you say?"

Elias thought for a second but nodded his head.

"Wait, What did you just agree to?" Damen asked.

"Your father has agreed to give me his soul for me to forgive him for killing Daria." Mila answered.

"No!" Deo yelled "You can't do that, please."

"Oh now you help, but you didn't help when your sister needed you now did you."

Guilt filled Deo once again, hearing his mother say it made it ten times worst for him.

Damen growled and went to move, but a black fog started to cover both of the boy and automatically they started to feel weak.

"Tisk tisk." A deep voice said from the Fog. "You boys are so disrespectful to such a beautiful woman."

"What the fuck." Damen groaned out.

Dante stepped out from the dark corner of the room. "Such disrespectful brats, you should be lucky you got to come out of that."

"Well Elias, your punishment starts now." Putting her hand on Elias's chest she leaned forwards and placed a kissed on his lips. But this wasn't a romantic kiss, this was the kiss of death as slowly she started to suck out his soul. When she was done, she just dropped his limp body onto the floor.

Walking over to Dante, Mila placed a deep sensual kiss on his lips. Dante wrapped his arms around her body and pulled her close to him as their kiss deepened. When she pulled back they just smiled at each other and Mila walked out of his arms.

"I have to go and visit my father and Daria," She told Dante "You know what to do."

Dante couldn't help the sadistic smirk that crossed his lips. "Of course, I get to torture the man who stole my woman. This can't get any better." Mila chuckled as Dante disappeared into the darkness.

Before Mila could leave Damen spoke up. "Wait Daria's not actually dead?" He asked and Mila smirked.

"Of course she's not, She is my daughter after all." Was all Mila said before she too disappeared in smoke.

Damen and Deo just sat there. What the fuck actually happened? Did their mother really just kill their father? Does this mean now that their Alpha's of the Empire for good.

But before Damen could get too excited, the boys heard a groan and they looked at their father. He was starting to move. Rushing over to him, they helped him sit up. He rubbed his head a bit and looked to be completely out of it.

But after a few minutes, he looked as if he was alright and the boy heled him stand.

"You alright dad?" Deo asked. But he said nothing.

"Shit I thought mom killed you." Damen said and at this he chuckled a deep dark chuckle.

"She couldn't kill me, I'm the true alpha." he said and as he looked up at Damen and Deo they both a gasp. A confused and surprised look on their face as a pair of pitch black Eyes were staring back at them.

"Axl?!?"
