22- Surprises The Good and The Bad PT:2

ELIAS POV:

I’m gonna be a father. I’m going to be a father.

That was the only thing that was going through my head at the moment. I was going to have a baby with the woman I loved. I was more then excited, I was every word in the book that meant excited.

As she packed her bags, she was quiet. I didn’t really want to tell her that the elders have the power to dethrone me if they really wanted to. She has enough things to worry about, especially with her being a new mother. The stress wouldn’t be good for her or the baby.

“Dad I need a favor done now.” I mind linked my father. I didn’t mean to sound so demanding, but it was something I wanted done now.

“What is it son?”

“I need you to call the elders, tell them that we are having an emergency meeting at 7. It’s mandatory that EVERYONE attends.”

“Alright, I’ll let them all know.”

It was 5 at the moment so I know there was plenty of time for them to get ready.

We both agreed that we would see the doctor here, then see the royal doctor when we get to my empire.

“Well that should be it.” She said as she closed her last suit case. she had a total of 4 for them all fully packed with mostly dresses. I wasn’t gonna judge, because I know she loves her dresses.

“Ready?” I asked her holding out my hand she nodded nervously. “Lead the way.”

As we walked down the hall, I could admit I was getting more and more nervous by the second. Alot has happened today, First I find out that Dianna my ex mate and the soon to be ex luna tried to put a love charm on me. Then I find out I’m going to be a father, Such an eventful day.

It didn’t take us long to get to the doctors and we didn’t have to wait, we just walked right on in. The elderly woman was sitting next to the laid out chair just waiting for us, her grey hair pulled up into a bun. She wore thin glasses and a long white doctors coat. The room was a teal color with pictures of the pregnancy stages all over the walls.

“Ah Princess Mila, Alpha King Elias. I’ve been expecting you.” She said a warm smile on her face. “My name is Dr. Wilks and let me just say congratulations.”

“Thank you.” I said feeling proud that I put a child in my mates stomach. I looked over at Mila and she was blushing.

She motioned for Mila to sit on the hospital bed like chair and I helped her. Dr. Wilks instructed Mila to lift up her dress and she did so.

“I understand the confusions with your pregnancy, Princess Mila.” Dr. Wilks started as squeezed some clear what looked like to be gel out of a tube and put it on Mila’s bare stomach. Then she used what I believe to be a so called wand to look inside the womb. She traced along Mila’s stomach until we heard a sound, I really didn’t know what it was.

“Ok, I hear something can you?” I asked them.

“Yes, just give me one moment.” The doctor said looking at the screen and moving the wand around Mila’s stomach. Then she chuckled. “Ok Now I see,”

“See, See what?” i said almost in a panic.”

“You see these three little dots?” She asked pointing to the screen. It was kinda hard to see at first, but when she pointed it out I could see the three pea like dots on the screen.

“Yeah?”

“Well those are your babies, I was wondering why there was a whole bunch of noise in there, there was three heartbeats beating.” She laughed.

“Three?!?” Me and Mila said at the same time.

“Yup, three. And it looks like you’re in your first trimester at 8 weeks.” She said.

“Eight weeks.” Mila said out loud “But We’ve only been awake for a week.”

Dr. Wilks wiped the gel off Mila’s stomach, and I helped Mila sit up.

“So far there’s nothing wrong with the babies so far, and I could understand your confusion with your pregnancy. With you and Alpha King Elias being of two different species, It’s hard to tell how fast the babies will grow.” She explained. “I was told that you would be going to the Wolf Empire yes?”

We both nodded. “Well in like a week or two you should get another check up just to see how fast the babies have developed.”

“Alright, Don’t worry I’m make sure she makes all her check ups.” I told Dr. Wilks. She nodded, then handed Mila some prenatal pills, telling her to take them regularly.

After that we left the doctors, “Ready to go?” I asked her. She took in a deep breath looked around then nodded. And we made our way out to our new life.
