Book 2: 5: His Name
Darkness surrounded me.
I didn’t know where I was, only that I was in darkness and wearing nothing but a robe.
*“Cara Mia, Cara Mia.”* He called out to me in the darkness. *“Finally, I’m going to have you all to myself. Mi manchi, Cara Mia.”* His voice was deep and low. With a strong thick Italian accent.
I could feel eyes watching me from in the darkness all around me. I knew he was there watching me; I could feel his gaze piercing my skin. I wanted to see him. I needed to see him, just to make sure that it was really him. I had to be sure.
*“Say my name Cara Mia, Per Favore.”* His voice begged out of the darkness. It sounded like him. The way my body shivers at his every word was also a sign that it was him. But I had to be sure.
“Where are you?” I called out to him. My voice echoing in the darkness.
*“Di ll mio nome(say my name)”* He begged again.
“No!” I yelled “Not until I see that it’s really you.”
He chuckled then he stepped out of the darkness. My breath caught in my throat, and my eyes widen. I couldn’t believe it. There he stood in all his glory. He wore a black and red robe that was tight against his beautiful muscular body. His short light brown hair was gelled back, his hazel eyes just bored into mine. I could already feel myself becoming more and more wetter the longer we had our little stare down.
He walked closer to me until he was right in front of me. His hand came up and gently brushed up against my cheek. The warmth of his touch made my body vibrate. *“Now, Cara Mia say my name.”*
Do I do it? Do I call his name? Because if I did, we would just go back to the way it was, the way we were. Our bond would strengthen. And I couldn’t do that, right? I mean I have a family. I have a husband some one I soul bonded with. If I called out his name, I would be giving myself to him, giving myself to what we have. Starting everything all over again. I would be throwing everything away. I promised that I would stay faithful to Eli. But If I call his name all that goes down the drain. I was so busy in my thoughts that I didn’t even notice him come up behind me. Until his hands wrapped around my waist and he pulled my back close to his chest.
The tip of his nose brushed against the crook of my neck as he breath in my scent. “Call my name Cara Mia.” He moaned in my ear. Then I felt the heat of his breath as he started to nibble on my ear. I couldn’t help the moan that escaped my lips.
*“You have to Cara Mia, say it, say my name. Let us go back to the way we were all those years ago... remember.”*
Then out of nowhere he bit my neck, right over Eli’s mark. It slowly started to heat up, until it turned into a deep agonizing burn.
I screamed out in pain, as the burn from my neck started to radiate all over my body.
*“Say it Cara Mia, Say my name.”*
The pain was terrible and made me feel like my body was melting. A pulse of pain flashed through out my body making me scream louder.
“Dante!” I screamed and everything went black.
*"Your Mine now Cara Mia, you can never escape me you never could have you were always mine and I was always yours.”*
