18- Choices Made

***Dianna POV:***
It’s been weeks since I last saw Elias and I just knew that he was with the demon whore. Dressed in tight shorts, a large tank top and a pair of wedges. It was almost midnight and I was still pacing in my room. My emotions fueled by one thing and one thing only, anger. I picked up a green vase that was on my dresser and threw it on the floor, crashing it into a million pieces. No one was telling me where the hell Elias was. The only thing I knew was that he was at the party four weeks ago then
he just disappeared. And a week after he disappeared, his father came and took over the alpha duties.

***Three Weeks Ago***

I sped walked through the halls after I heard word that the Alpha was back. I needed to see him to talk, to him, to ask him anything and see if he was ok. Even if he may not know it, I do care about him. The week that he’s been gone, I’ve been worried. Worried that something's happened to him.
Climbing up stairs and walking down halls, I finally came to his door. Taking a deep breath to calm my breathing, I straighten out my black hair and tucked it behind my ears. Taking in a final deep breath I pushed the doors open. Sitting behind the desk wasn’t Elias, but his father Peter Woods.

I was confused as hell. Peter wasn’t the alpha, so why the hell was he here? “What are you doing here, where’s Elias?” I asked him.

He just leaned back in his chair and looked at me. “Well, my dear, I don’t think that’s any of your business.”

What the fuck did he just say?!? I just gave him a small chuckle. “What do you mean it’s none of my business!? He is my mate I have every right to know where the hell he’s at and what he’s doing!!” I yelled. I didn’t mean too but he was pissing me the hell off.

“Well, my son has made a choice, and as soon as he comes back. Well, let’s just say there will be some changes.” He just smirked at me. Peter never liked me, I understood why but still.

I didn’t know what Elias’s choice was, but I know for sure it had something to do with removing my title. And that was something I wasn’t going to stand for. Turing on my heels, I stormed out the room slamming the door behind me.

“This is all your fault!” Merla said in my head and it kinda gave me a headache. It was weird that I heard from her. It’s been years honestly, ever since Elias and Axl declared they wanted nothing to do with us. I not only lost my mate but my wolf also. She was there when I needed to shift, but other than that she wouldn’t talk to me at all.

“Wow, look who’s risen from the grave.” I joked.

“Shut up you filthy slut.”
Ok ouch.

“It’s your fault we’re losing everything, I can’t believe I got stuck with a pathetic human like you!!” She yelled, and honestly it was starting to hurt a bit. I mean your wolf was supposed to be there for you no matter what. And here she was against me, just like the rest of the world.

“Don’t worry I’ll get him back, I wi-”

“Oh just give it up, you cant get shit back because he doesn’t want you just like Axl doesn’t want me” With that she shut off connection and I was left hurt and even more pissed off.

I was not going to let that demon bitch take my title no matter what.

***Present.***

Elias still wasn’t back yet but I knew for some reason that he was coming back very soon. I couldn’t explain it but I could just feel it. But that wasn’t the problem, the problem was my title was going to get taking away by that demon bitch.

I paced the room thinking of something, anything that could change the outcome. “The only way to change Elias mind is if he fell in love with me.” I said to myself. But then I chuckled at my own comment. Like hell he would after all these years it’s not like he could magically fa-.

I paused as a light bub went off in my head, "Magically," I said out loud "Magic, a love spell that's it!" I knew just who to go to for a powerful love spell. I grabbed a large sweater, then made my way to Elias's room. His room still smells like him, yet the scent was faint. Making my way to his dresser and grabbing his hair brush that most likely still had strands of his hair in it. Then I made my way out of the house and into the night.

The drive to the edge of border right where the Wolf Empire meets the beginning of the Shadow Forest was a long one. That’s where you go for all the shady deal, the spells that you can’t get anywhere else, or the spells that the Empire of witches refuse to do. I made my way to a witch by the name of Joanna. She does both black and white magic, but her love spells are what she is most famous for.

The inside of the small shop was dark and lit with candles here and there. Joanna was sitting behind a desk reading a book and drinking a cup of tea. Her long red hair was loose around her shoulders and looked beautiful against her caramel skin. Hat on and Hood pulled down low, I made my way to her.

“Hi, Joanna right.” She looked at me. Her eyes were a light shade of red that wasn’t scary but unique.

She nodded to me. “What can I do for you?” She said putting the book down and giving me a small smile.

“I heard about your services and I need a love spell. A powerful one.” I told her getting right to the point.

“Well love spells are my specialty,” she gloated brushing her hair behind her shoulders. “How strong are we talking?”

I paused, worried if I should tell her or just use for an example. “Well strong enough to charm, well lets see.” I paused for a moment like I was thinking. “The Alpha King, you can say.” I told her with a chuckle, hoping she would take it as a joke.

She raised an eyebrow at me for a moment and gave me a questioning look.
Shit, she’s gonna find out.
“Is it weird that I used him?” I asked her thinking fast “Because I was just thinking, if it’s strong enough for the Alpha king then it’s strong enough for any one right?” I chuckled nervously.

She just continued to eye me suspiciously then started to laugh. “No it’s not weird, just the other day I had someone come in here asking me to make a potion strong enough to make Lucifer fall in love with her.” She laughed, I just laughed with her.
Thank god she didn’t catch on to me.

“As you know, I am going to need something of yours and something of his.” She said. I nodded and pulled out his brush and gave it to her. Then she reached over and cut a strand of my hair. “Now this should be good.” she said placing both on the counter.

“How much to I owe you?” I asked her reaching in my pocket to grab my purse.

“Well you don’t pay until the potion is finished and it’ll take around five days.” She told me. I nodded.

“See you in five days then.”

“See you.” She smiled.

I turned and walked out the store. “That was easier then I thought.” I said out loud.

“And you really think this is going to work?” Merla asked ruining my mood.

“Of course it is, she’s the best in her field.”

“Watch, this is going to come back and bite you in the ass.” She huffed before ending the conversation.
This is going to work; it jsut has to. I want to make things work between me and my mate no matter what I have to. But I should really have a backup plan.

Joanna POV:

It was midnight and honestly it was quiet. Around this time is when people come out to this part of time and require some of my services. No one wants to be seen going to the dark part of town, that could only mean their looking for trouble.

I just sat behind the desk and read until I heard the door chimed. I peeked up and a woman came in. She looked like she was trying to hide her identity, but in was failing terribly. Even in the dimly lit room, she looked a bit familiar I just couldn’t place where.

“Hi, Joanna right.” She asked as she looked at me.

No shit Sherlock.

I just looked at her and gave her a small smile. “What can I do for you?” I asked her as polite as I could as I put the book down.

“I heard about your services and I need a love spell. A powerful one.” She said to me getting right to the point.

Well thank you. I thought as I let my ego swell.
“Well love spells are my specialty,” I said brushing my hair behind my shoulders. “How strong are we talking?”

“Well strong enough to charm, well lets see.” She paused for a moment like she was thinking. . “The Alpha King, you can say.” She chuckled, her face hit the candle light and that’s when I saw it clearly. No matter how much she tried to hide it, I knew who she was.

And because I knew who she was, I knew what her problems were. Everyone, in every kingdom did. We all knew that her and the alpha king were separate yet together. There was even a rumor going around that he found someone new. And that person was Lucifer’s daughter.

I just raised an eyebrow, if she was really asking what I think she was. Then shit just got real.

“Is it weird that I used him?” She asked me “Because I was just thinking, if it’s strong enough for the Alpha king then it’s strong enough for any one right?” She chuckled nervously.

I had to think fast, if the Luna Queen Dianna knew I was on to her she might just go to another witch that would do it and not give a rats ass.
So I played it off and started laughing “No it’s not weird, just the other day I had someone come in here asking me to make a potion strong enough to make Lucifer fall in love with her.” I lied.

I needed to take this to my Queen, but I knew I would need some evidence. Then a light bulb went off in my head.
“As you know, I am going to need something of yours and something of his.” I told her , she nodded and pull out a brush that I believe most likely belonged to Alpha King Elias. But I also needed something of hers. So I reached over and grabbed a strand of her straight black hair and cut a piece off. “Now this should be good.” I said as I placed them both on the counter.

“How much do I owe you?” She asked reaching into her pocket.

I couldn’t take her money, if I did, I knew I would be signing a deal and I wasn’t about to do that. So, I just made up something, that wasn’t exactly a lie, but it wasn’t the truth either.

“Well you don’t pay until the potion is finished and it’ll take around five days.” I told her. She just nodded

“See you in five days then.”

“See you.” She smiled.

I watched her walk out, and when I saw her car pull out and away I picked up the phone and I automatically picked up the phone.
The phone rang and a heavenly voice picked up on the other end.

“My Queen, I think we may have a problem.”
