Chapter 14: Faeries? How true?

"Faeries? As in Fae?" Vassily was still standing before me with hands outstretched.

"You won't take my hands? Did you not say you wanted to leave." He smirked as he stared at me.

Vassily and Michal were smart for one, because they knew I was naturally curious and would want to hear the rest of their story after him saying they were faeries. But I could shock them, I would find out without their help.

I smiled back at Vassily and reached for his outstretched hands. "I did say that, so can I leave now?." Vassily pulled me up and motioned to the door.

"Go on out." I balanced myself on my two feet, seeing that I wasn't going to collapse again like I had done earlier, I hurriedly walked to the door. I then stopped and looked back at them.

"You are not letting me go just because I asked for it, are you?"

Michal nodded as his fingers tapped the arms of the chair he sat on. "You are a smart one Bellatrix and we would be waiting for you to come back for us."

I squinted my eyes at him. "What do you mean?"

"You are leaving because of your pride little one, but your curiosity will make you come back. That day would be soon."

"You wish." I muttered as I stepped out, letting out a loud gasp when I suddenly found myself at home, in my sitting room.

"Trix, what the hell! Where did you emerge from?"

I glanced at her as she stared at me just as shocked like I was. "Magic." I muttered as I slumped down to the couch.

    "Trix?" Kay called again.

"Were you not supposed to resume at the dorm today?" I asked her without giving an answer to her question.

"I changed my mind, and you are not going to tell me how you suddenly appeared here? I do not remember you possessing a teleportation ability."

"You do not have to know Karen, not yet." I replied and stood up to walk back into my room. Karen had school to focus on and I wasn't going to bother her with my own issues though I knew she wouldn't let me be until I told her, nevertheless I was still going to try to keep my newfound knowledge to myself until I was a hundred percent sure, besides I didn't want to think about what would happen if Vassily and Michal were indeed right.

    "Trix..."

    "Go to bed Karen"

I slammed the door to my room shut, I grabbed my laptop and sat down on the carpet. My fingers shook as I turned it on, fact is; somehow I was scared, scared of what I would find out, scared that Vassily and Michal didn't lie about what they had said. It was bad enough that I was mated to an Alpha, but being Fae in addition to that? I didn't think I could handle it.

    Fae?

Was there proof that I wasn't human? After scanning through different articles about Faeries, I had started to question myself. Faeries were paranormal creatures, existing from the lineage of the goddess Fayre, who had been known as the fairy witch.

With time, faeries began to crossbreed and soon there were no full faeries again, making people believe they had gone into extinction even though there were still few of them scattered about the mortal realm, but that wasn't what caught my attention, what did was the description of the true descendants of the fairy witch, they were mostly female with fiery red hair and their most common ability was that they could control earth materials, in other words they could disseminate materials and people into the earth and never to be seen again. That alone, had described me.

Lies. I tried to reassure myself as I ran my hands through my hair. It could just be a coincidence, it didn't mean I was Fae. I shut down my laptop and leaned back on the carpeted floor, my head throbbing slightly. I am not of the Fae world. No, I couldn't be. I shut my eyes as somehow I was starting to waver in and out of consciousness.

    •

"Bella! Bella open this damned door!"

Did I fall asleep? Was I still asleep? Enough to hear Alec's voice in my dreams. Stupid gorgeous Lycan, did he have to invade my dreams too.

"Bella!" I heard a loud bang, followed by frantic footsteps. My head was throbbing more fiercely than before and I couldn't even open my eyes. "Bella! Bellatrix!"

Bellatrix? He rarely called me that. I felt strong arms grabbed me and lifted me up from the floor. I guess this isn't a dream. Sighing, I nuzzled into the familiar male scent I had come to realize as Alec's and slipped out of consciousness again.

    •

"I said stop fucking touching my sister Mr Alpha!" I hear Kay's voice as I awake from my supposed slumber

"You literally begged me to come here, didn't you?" Alec snapped a reply to her.

"That was me being desperate, and your contact was the only named one on her list, it doesn't mean I approve of you fawning all over her like a lost puppy."

I chuckled, very typical of Karen to act like that. "Bella! You are awake!" Alec let out a gasp as I opened my eyes. He was sitting right beside while Karen stood at the door.

"Thankfully." I said with a smile.

Alec sighed and slowly placed a kiss on my forehead not minding the glare Karen was giving him.

"What happened Trix? You passed out after you weirdly teleported into the house." Karen asked stepping closer to my bed.

I sighed. I also didn't understand, why had I fallen unconscious? It still didn't make sense. "You are not getting enough rest, I bet that's why. Did I not tell you to come stay with me." Alec huffed, a worried look on his face.

"I also remember telling you I am not interested in playing your mate, don't you get it?."

"Back to the Bella I know, are we? Cold and aloof. You just don't want to accept the fact that you are my mate. The pack's rightful Luna."

    "Disgusting.." Kay muttered.

"Leave Kay." I said, sitting up, her eyes widened in surprise.

    "What?"

"I said leave! I need a moment with Alec okay?"

    "You can't.. Trix?"

"Karen!" I snapped, clenching my fingers tight.

"Fine" She said with a scoff looking from me to Alec before storming out slamming the door behind her.

"She is a feisty one, isn't she." Alec remarked. I rolled my eyes.

"Good observation." I replied and tried to get up. Alec immediately held me back.

"You shouldn't leave this bed until I am sure you are strong enough." I scoffed, forcibly breaking my hands free from his hands, and contrary to his earlier statement, I stood up and slipped my legs into my flops.

    "Bella, what the hell!"

"I have to get somewhere and you playing caring mate is certainly not helping matters." I muttered. I needed to find answers, but lying down here wasn't going to bring that so I had to leave. I raise my eyes to look at Alec who was staring at me, anger clearly evident in his eyes. Right now, i would prefer the Alec I had met when i had first stepped into Howls — The cold and distant Alec.

    "Bella..."

"Take me to the pack house Alpha Alec." I suddenly said without thinking, or probably I was thinking of that crystal blue pool, If my hunch was right, then it was what Tee called the pool of transition, which also meant i could get my answers there.

"You want to go to the pack house?" Alec looked shocked at my request.

"Yes." I replied and started to walk out, he gulped loudly as he followed behind, his looming presence clearly evident in every step he took.

"Do you want to meet the pack?"

"No, i want to meet the pool.." I paused and turned back to face. "The pool of transition, it calls out to me."
