Chapter 26: Leave, Alec!

Bellatrix:
The rays of the morning sun from the half opened window is one of what wakes me up, apart from the music from the harp coming from wherever in the castle. I remember waking up to this too when I was a kid. Mamai told me music was one of the magic of the Faeries and because of this, music never left the castle, it was like a ritual that should never missed. I loved it though, even now because there was something about Fae music that brings that sooth you need at the right time.
"Are you awake, Princess Bella?" A startled gasp escapes my lips as Alec literally appears right in front of me... okay he did not basically, he just got out of the bathroom almost naked and the only thing making it almost is the towel hanging loosely around his waist.
"You like what you see?" He smirks at me. Holy fuck! Did I add that he is dripping fucking wet and it is so goddamn sexy as the water cascades down his well toned abs disappearing right down to his navel. Yeah, I did not, but seriously.. It takes a while for me to notice that he has moved away from his previous position and is now really close to me with his hands pressing down on the bed and his lips only a few inches away from mine.
I blink, once.. twice and take in a large gulp. "Ugh..Good morning Alec..." I am a fucking stuttering mess as it is, and Alec sure as hell is not helping matters as he moves a little bit more closer again. I am holding my breath just as Alec leans close and pecks me on the lips. I feel it. It is only Alec who would touch me and make me feel that rush of excitement and yet still put my heart at peace.
I do not think denying would cut the chase anymore, even a blind man would be able to tell I am in love with Alpha Alec of the winter pack but yet this is me, and denying my feelings has always been a norms, because even now that I have most of my memories back, I still can't accept the fact that my whole life has been a sham, a lie.
I instantly pull myself away from the kiss, leaving Alec staring at me with confused eyes. "Are you okay?" He asks me.
"I'm fine" I tell him, careful to look anywhere but at him. Why did he even come here with me in the first place?
"Bella..." He calls again. This time I do not answer him, instead I get down from the bed and walk to the window side . I sigh as I look down at the city. The view from up here is definitely amazing. I see the citizens going about their daily life and even though we have lost our first city, Michal rally did a good job of returning life to L'agaib by rebuilding it. Speaking of Michal though, I need to see him.
"Really Bella? This is what you are going to do all day? ignore me?" I turn back to see Alec already dressed up in one of the Faeries fine linen and he is staring at me with a.. a sad look?
"Well... I did not ask you to come with me or something... for crying out loud Alec you were already giving me out as a sacrificial lamb to your Alpha King! what are you even doing here? I mean why would you leave your beloved pack members and follow me into the fae realm. I am confused, really."
Alec rubs at his face and then stalks towards me, stopping right at my front. "You do not understand, do you? You do not know that wherever you are is where I belong... and for the record I never would have given you out to the alpha King.. I swear on the goddess's name, I would never leave you to die."
"But you let Ryan..." I start to say but he cuts me off with a wave of his hand.
"Listen to me Bella, I had a plan I swear, I was not going to leave you to die and I can swear my plan was going on fine until Ryan came back looking all roughed up and all, telling me had lost you" He sighs and runs his hands through his hair which I noticed he does whenever he is in a tight spot.
"Apparently he had been ambushed by a man who had magically disappeared with you and the car"
"Tee" I muttered. Alec raises his brow at me..
"What did you say?" He asks.
I shake my head and reply; "Your Beta needs a lot of training if all it takes is just one man to steal me away from him"
"I know right" He says chuckling at my statement.
I shrug. "So how did you get Michal's place? or rather how did you magically appear out of thin air in that place?"
"Hera and my mark" He nods to my neck, making me pull up my hands to graze my fingers over it. "Hera found out where you are through the mark and she teleported me there"
"So what is that like, a tracking device? is that why you marked me? to monitor my movements? how conceited is that?" I do not know why, or rather I do not want to know why I am suddenly annoyed at him. I feel absolutely foolish to have thought that there was actually a special reason to him marking me, only to find out that he only did that to track me!
Stupid asshole, how did my stupid heart end up softening towards him anyway? Damn me for loosing my touch.
"Bella..." He calls, trying to hold me but I swat his hand away.
"You know what Alec, how about you just go back to your pack and stop fucking with me... that would definitely make me happy!"
"Bella!" he exclaims.
"Just leave Alec!" I snap slash yell back a reply and as if obeying to my command, a gush of wind blows into the room and right before my eyes, Alec vanishes.
