Chapter 16: I will be your Luna

What the hell!

    "You came back earlier than i expected." I turned at the familiar voice from behind me.

    "Vassily!" He smirked at me as he took his final step to my side.

    "It is good to see you again little one, and so soon at that." I rolled my eyes at his smugness, folding my arms with a frown etched on my face.

    "How am I here and why am I even here?"

    Vassily placed his hands around my neck, urging me forward with him. "How at you here? Well, your teleportation magic is what brought you here, and before you ask how that is possible, you should know that embracing your magic means tapping into them once at a time."

    Somehow i wasn't surprised how Vassily knew of what Hera had told me about embracing my magic, if I were even to be more honest, I would say I already accepted the weird fact that I was fae.

    "So the first of my abilities i tapped into is that of teleportation." Vassily nodded to my statement, patting my shoulders.

    I continued.. "Fine then, so where exactly am I? Because i do understand that teleportation only works with agreement to the mind and I certainly do not remember wanting to be somewhere else."

    "You are where you've always wanted to be."

    "What do you mean?"

    "Look beyond what you see little one." He added. He snapped his fingers in front of my eyes as he pointed to the vast field. "You at in your memories little one, see for yourself.."

    Suddenly, the field was gone and in its place was a very large castle like mansion.. A palace?

    "This was your home before you got lost" Vassily said even before I could ask. I could only gape. "Follow me," He added.

    "Princess Bella! You should stop running around with your magic hanging loosely on the tip of your fingers, you could hurt someone!"

    The little girl turned to her handmaid, laughing. "But I just want to play Precia, or won't you let me play." She pouted, blinking her eyes rapidly.

    Precia smiled at her, rubbing her hair lovingly. "Of course I would darling, but first you have to learn to keep your magic in check."

    "How do I do that?" Bella asked, her eyes shining with curiosity.

    "It is actually so simple, just let —" Precia was unable to finish her statement as the atmosphere suddenly changed, everywhere began to darken and soon the palace was in chaos with people running helter skelter.

    "Precia, what is going on?"

    "The dark fairies! They are invading the city in troops"

    Bella turned at the sound of her mother's panicky voice. "Mama!" She ran towards her. "Mama what is going on? What does precia mean by the dark fairies?"

    The queen stared at her daughter unable to explain to the poor little girl what was going on, she turned to Precia. "Take her out of this city, and do not bring her back until it is safe to do so."

    "But My Queen, what about you and the prince?" Precia asked.

    "I will bring Trik myself, do not worry. Just take Bellatrix as far away as possible. There is a man waiting at the city gates, he will show you where to go." The queen smiled and crouched to her daughter's level.

    "Mama, why are you telling Precia to take me away? Mama doesn't want me here any longer?" Bella pouted her lips as she watched her mother expectantly.

    "Of course not Princess, listen to me baby. Mama has to let you go for a while, but do not worry. I'm going to come for you as soon as I can eh?"

    "And Papa and Brother?"

    "Yes Baby, we will come for you and be back as one big Family."

    Bella smiled, her mother never failed her promises, but was she right? She wasn't, because that was the last she saw of them.

    "Mother!" I jerked awake at my own scream, blinking my eyes rapidly.

    I remembered, who I am and why had left but why didn't I ever remember my roots? That was still a mystery to me and I intended to find out, actually there were many things i had to find out. Where was Precia? What had happened to my family? My brother, was he alive? Our realm? Our city? What had happened that morning, and how could I have forgotten my family? My true family! My head ached as I tried to think.

    I sighed, pressing my fingers to my forehead as I looked around. This time I knew where I was. I was in the room where Alec had left me with Hera. Hera, where was she, it seemed like she knew more than she let out. Maybe she could help me.

    I got down from the bed, slipped my legs into the flops at the foot of the bed and walked out of the room. I wondered if the boarder attack issues had been solved. I scoffed inwardly at my own thoughts, why am I even concerned about that.

    I walked down the stairs, already knowing that the pack house was filled up upon hearing chattering from the main room. I was right, there were people scattered around all doing something or the other. I could see some bringing in food and some were treating others. Did they get injured.

    "Bella." I turned at Alec's voice. He was standing on the stairs staring at me. If I wasn't who I was, I would have screamed in fright at the sight of him. His whole body was covered in blood, even dripping from his lips. I gulped loudly.

    "Alec." I called back. I couldn't explain why but I found myself walking towards him in desperation, wanting to know why he was like that.

    "Alec are you okay? What the hell happened to you." I tried to keep my voice down, but I ended up raising it, even i could hear the fear in my voice.

    Alec smiled. "Is this why you do not want to be with me? Because this is who I really am Bella. An animal?"

     I scoffed, if only he knew. "I don't recall saying that you Alec." He smiled again and started walking back up the stairs, I followed him. When he got into the room where he had left me with Hera, he entered and slumped down on the bed.

    "You need to wash up Alec, you are covered in blood!" I said and moved to side. "Here, let me help you unto the bathroom." I couldn't understand why I was suddenly caring for him, why the thought of him being werewolf and me being his mate didn't repulse me like before, and even so i wasn't about to dwell on that thought.

    Alec held my hands, pulling me down to his side. I gasped as he firmly held my waist and rolled atop me. "There is only one thing you can do for me Bellatrix."

    "And what would that be?"

    He pushed off me and took up a sitting position, I did same. He then stared at me for awhile before he finally spoke. "Be my Luna"

    I was silent for a while and i could see the urgency and desperation in Alec's eyes as he waited for my answer. "Fine."

    "W..what?"

    "I will be your Luna."
