Ava is Sick
Standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in his villa, the bright light and faint pearly lustre reflected on his face and reflected black. His contour was dark and blurry. His back was straight and wide.
His waist was thin, he did not have much flab, it connected with the compact hip, and the outline was balanced and fit.
Suddenly, a tall and strong frame appeared behind him and called out, “Zac,”
“Walker's right-hand man is currently in the Pure Nightclub, and I've sent Ariana to take care of him” Reid delivered and waited patiently waiting for his remark as he continued to stare at his powerful back.
Hearing this, Zac gradually turned around to look at Reid. He nodded his head twice, his face not giving away any emotion. Nobody could tell what was in his mind, he was just used to being calm and indifferent.
“Where's Lee?” he asked in a deep-voiced, sounding dull and sharp.
“In any case, shit might arise. So, Lee and some other men had surrounded the place” Reid clarified, and a quick smile emitted from Zac's lips as he strode past Reid in the hallway who followed him immediately.
Reaching inside his room with Reid behind him, he grabbed his cigarettes pack on the nightstand, pulled out a stick, and put it between his lips. His eyes searched for the lighter, but were unable to find it.
“Here, boss”
He tilted his head to see Reid standing before him, who had lighted his own lighter for him. He dipped his forehead and lighted the cigarette from the tiny flame in Reid's hand, and then walked to the window, leaving a long shadow on the floor.
The smoke passed through his nose forcefully as he kept his mouth sealed, allowing himself to be thrown into the memories of that night Ava spent with him. His lips slowly curved to an especial arc as he swiveled around abruptly and then consciously retrieved his device from his pocket.
Reid looked at him up and down bit by bit and was seldom startled by the wimpiness that had covered his face suddenly. The softness between his eyebrows had never appeared before. He watched him carefully as he dialed his phone and pressed it to his ear.
In the club.
“Cheers to our Ava and Zac's new but shall be colorful relationship!” Hazel proposed a toast and they all cheered.
After making the toast, Hazel and Freya returned to the dance floor immediately, and it was only Ava and Caleb left on the seat. Ava smiled to herself awkwardly, rubbing the space between her eyebrows. She had concluded not to argue with her friends anymore, only she knew too well in her mind that, there was nothing like a relationship between her and Zac.
Shortly, her new smartphone began to ring inside her small pink shoulder bag. She quickly fetched the phone and realized that the number was unknown.
“I'll be right back, Caleb” she notified and scampered out of the place at once before the phone would stop ringing.
As soon as she got to a quiet area, she answered the call, “Tinkerbell,” recognizing the musky voice, it felt like there was an electric current that flow into her blood towards her cheeks which caused them to boil up.
“Where are you?”
Her mind had totally gone blank, and for a moment, she couldn't find anything suitable to say. Her brain turned quickly after a few seconds, and she replied,
“In a club” her voice inevitably trembled without notice. However, after reckoning what she had just said, “With my friends” she quickly added.
Ava didn't know why she had to explain herself because there was no relationship between her and Zac. However, she was afraid of arousing unnecessary suspicion from Zac.
“Get out of that place now,” his next simple, but sharp words immediately stung Ava's heart. She looked around the peaceful environment and thought that what could be his reason for asking her to get out of the place, but she dare not argue with him.
Ava rushed back to meet her friends, she saw that a lady was now flirting with Caleb in his seat who in turn had no interest in the lady, while Hazel and Freya were still dancing recklessly around in the red and green lights.
Knowing very well that she could never get them out of this place without a logical excuse, Ava suddenly held her belly and staggered to her seat.
Caleb soon saw this and leaped to his feet, “What happened to you, Ava?” he asked worriedly, holding her hand. However, Ava cried out in pain this time to intensify her pretense.
“We need to get out of here, Caleb, please call others,”
Caleb didn't continue to stand there, he hurried to the dance floor and nudged Freya's arm. Freya turned to look at him but didn't stop dancing, "Ava is sick,” he told her and her active movement came to a sudden halt, “What?”
Freya whispered the same thing into Hazel's ear and together, they fled the dance floor to where Ava was sitting, still holding her stomach and wriggling in pain.
“What happened, Ava? Is it your time of the month? Hazel interviewed frantically, holding her and making her stand on her feet.
“I don't know, Hazel, let's just get out of this place,” Ava choked on her words as she spoke while squeezing her face in agony.
“Do you want to go to the hospital?” Freya asked in concern as she and Caleb carried their bags.
“No, Freya. Let's just go to my place, I have some pills at home”

Duke Ford looked over at the voluptuous figure that just stepped into the room, her sleeveless red dress barely covered her butt, exuding an alluring temperament. Her long legs stepped on a pair of black heeled boots. Her palm-sized face, her ponytail, her delicate nose, and her pink lips…every bit of her looked delicate.
Duke could feel his member throbbing strongly inside his trouser. Without discarding his gaze from her, he quickly hauled his glass of wine and gulped the remaining content.
“Don't stay away from me, gorgeous. Please come here,” he said with a beam, outstretching his hands forward. The lady smiled coquettishly and ambled closer to the man, “Hi, sir” she greeted seductively, fitting her legs on either side of his thighs.
Duke felt his brain already melting as he steadied himself on the bed, with the lady on top of him.
“What's your name, beauty?” he asked in a daze, sneaking his powerful fingers into her dress. She rocked her body against him, eliciting a deep groan from him.
“Ariana” she replied sweetly, and began to undo his buttons and took off his long sleeves completely. “Whoa, Ariana. Have you heard of my name before?” he quizzed, enjoying the magic her delicate slender fingers were doing to his chest.
“Of course, not, sir. I'm just an available slut who was called upon immediately you arrived here,” Ariana explained and slowly dipped her head forward and clung her mouth to one of his nipples.
Duke shut his eyes while he raised her dress and slid his hands into her panties and drowning in a sea of pleasure.
Ariana's lips curved in a lopsided smile as she slowly reached out and hauled her gun from her boot carefully and suddenly became serious, positioning the gun on his forehead.
Duke became scared, surrendering himself by raising his hands to the air, “Please don't shoot” he implored, pretending to be scared. Ariana cocked the revolver and attempted to shoot. However, she was suddenly thrown to the floor but soon regained her equilibrium and stood up to face him, who had already managed to attain his handgun under a pillow.
“Surrender yourself now, you bitch! Remember my men are outside” Duke said through clenched teeth, as they both pointed their pistols at each other.
Taking note of the number of men that were standing outside truly, Ariana knew that the only escape route for her was through the window. However, she retreated to the door, only stopping when there was no space left behind her. Duke sneered relentlessly and aimed a bullet at her, but she dodged out of the way in time and shoot him in his chest twice.
She unbolted the door quickly and paced out to see Duke's men at the door, pointing their guns at her, while a few of them ran past her to meet their boss where he was lying in pain.
“Who sent you here?” the one who seemed to be the team leader questioned gloomily, bringing the gun close to her head.
Ariana gulped and slowly counted the men, they were just five in number. Gradually, she lifted her hands in concession, and the men exchanged glances among themselves. She stole this chance and unexpectedly strike, she hit the one who was standing so close to her with the bottom of her gun, shoot two among the other fours, and ran off in the hallway.
She was close to the stairs when she felt an intense pain suddenly whacked through her left arm. Her eyes had instantly turned a bright shade of red as she twirled around swiftly and shoot the man in mask thrice and then fled the staircase.
By the time she arrived in the big lounge on the second floor, the whole place had become haphazard as everyone ran for their dear lives. She ran out of the place with them, but her action was a reflex than others.
“Ariana?”
She looked up to see Lee standing in front of her in the parking lot, “Please tell boss that I'm so sorry,” completing her few words, her eyes went dark, and her consciousness gradually faded as she fainted but was soon caught by Lee before she would collapse to the floor.
