GOT WHAT SHE DESERVE
The moment Lee stepped into the mansion and saw how devastated his boss looked, he sighed in regret and lowered his head while walking wholly into the ravishing living room.
It has been two days and two nights Ava has been missing and for these past two days, he hasn't stopped persuading Arianna to release Ava but Arianna wouldn't oblige.
She'd noted that she didn't care about the consequences and would kill Ava with her own hands.
Of course, Lee didn't care about Ava. Arianna could do whatever she wanted with her for all he gave a damn. However, his boss was greatly affected. Seeing his boss drinking alone in the bar and looking quite sad didn't sit well with him at all.
What hurt him more was that he knew the person doing this to his boss but he couldn't stand the outcome if he told the truth. Arianna would surely die at Zac’s hands. He would kill her for sure.
Sighing deeply, Lee stood aside with his head lowered, his heart aching terribly as to why he would be found in such a tight spot. A kind that had never occurred to him before.
“Boss,” Nick called out softly, emerging in the place and panting softly.
Zac spared him no glance as he poured himself another shot and gulped it in one go.
“Arianna is missing too, boss. I've been trying to reach her for these past two days but to no avail,” Nick disclosed, sneaking a peak at Lee’s face.
The boss gave no reaction whatsoever but the glint of fear that flashed across Lee’s eyes couldn't go unnoticed by Nick.
Then he continued, “Ried sent me a text some hours ago, boss. Walker and his men are on the low at the moment with no tasks. Could it be that one of us is behind this abduction?”
Nick cast a glance at Lee’s face again when speaking his last words and much to his surprise, the fear on his face was now evident, and his fists had curled to balls.
“The fuck are you saying, Nick? Do you mean Arianna is possibly behind Ava’s kidnap?” Lee snapped at Nick, his eyes shimmering with masked trepidation.
Nick stood straight and looked at him in the eyes, peering into his soul as if searching for the truth.
“Judging from Arianna’s natural hatred toward Ava, there's a high possibility that she could abduct Ava,” Nick said naturally, his chin raised high in confidence.
Zac halted the glass that he was taking to his mouth but didn't raise his eyes to look at both of the men, it seemed he was waiting for their next words.
“And why do you look apprehensive, Lee? Do you have a hand in this matter?” Nick asked again, his eyes holding Lee’s agitated ones. He looked like he was about to snap Nick’s neck.
This time, Zac raised his eyes and also noticed Lee’s tense expression. Then he dropped the glass cup, slowly stood up from the bar stool, and walked out of the barroom.
“Look for Arianna, Nick, and once you figure that she is behind all this mess, then don't even bother to notify me before getting rid of her,” as he spoke gently but deadly, his piercing gaze fixed on a wavering Lee.
Nick nodded that he got it and planned to turn around and get to work when a thumping sound stopped his movement. Lee had dropped to his knees.
“Forgive me, boss. I didn't mean to hide it from you but I thought I could cajole her before now, please forgive me.”
Lee had barely completed his words when Zac had trotted back to the bar stand, grabbed the glass cup, and gulped the remaining liquor before hurling the cup at Lee.
The liquor flew all over the floor alongside shattered glasses, emanating the fragrance of alcohol but it was a thrilling moment.
Lee held his bleeding right head. He was so ashamed that he wanted to find a hole and hide himself.
“You bastard! Where's Ava right now?” Zac growled, his voice dripping with anger.
“First lane, Freedom Way estate, boss. I’ll t-take you there,”

A silent tear escaped Ava’s eyes while she watched the lady who hadn't stopped punishing her for the last two days.
The truth is, she hadn't beaten Ava up or any kind of merciless beating but her hands were never far from Ava’s cheeks as she always slapped her at any slight chance.
This had caused Ava’s face to be swollen a lot, her lips were torn with traces of dried blood on it and her eyes were as reddened as a firecoal.
Biting her lower lip and watching Arianna drink some beers, Ava cursed her bitter life inwardly. It seemed she was destined to be unhappy from above.
She was unable to attain a mutual bond with her family and even though she was not able to come to terms with the fact that from the beginning, she did at last.
Now the only person who had come through for her and made her feel loved, like the most special thing in the whole world.
Sure enough, she knew she by no means belonged to his caliber but she was willing to give her all so that she could be a woman seen with such a person.
However, she had never imagined her end was so near and she wouldn't be able to vent her gratitude to that man who had made her life a meaningful one.
“Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!” Arianna clicked her tongue, threw away the beer can she was holding, and then slowly came to stand in front of Ava with a pistol in her hand.
“It’s too late now, College girl. You had the chance to pick up your heels when Mia Dawson was involved but now, you’ve left me with no choice. Zac will never be mine but he'll never be yours either,” she deadpanned, her eyes flashing dangerously.
Ava could only lower her head, wordlessly. She had no words to say to this mad woman as there were no words that could possibly talk her into letting her go.
Hence, she had accepted her ill fate. She just hoped that Zac would live a happy and good life thereafter. He had made her happy a lot of times so her only wish was for Zac to get over her death very soon and be happy.
“You’re smiling?” asked Arianna in disbelief, pointing the pistol to Ava’s face.
It was then Ava discovered that she was truly smiling and she just smiled wider. “I’m smiling because I thought of the man who makes me happy,”
A tear rolled down her face and passed over her mouth, “It’s a pity I'm dying today because of him though but I don't regret it. The times spent with him are the most lovely times I've ever spent in my whole life before,”
Arianna became even angrier, “Will you shut up and keep quiet?!” she bellowed, triggering the gun and ready to fire.
Ava’s eyes slipped closed and expected to hear the gunshot but that wasn't what she heard, instead, she heard Ariannacry.
Instantly, she opened her eyes and saw that she was already on the floor, whimpering and holding her bleeding hand.
What's going on?
“You really wanted to pull that trigger or was that a prank just now, Arianna?” came the voice that never fails to send shivers down her spine.
She swiftly looked in the direction of the voice and saw him coming nearer. He was wearing an open black coat and it revealed his inner clothing which was the pure black handmade suit. His clothes and sleeves were fluttering and he was expressing a natural powerful aura.
“Zac!” Ava cried out joyfully, her heart expanding and filled with so much happiness.
Oh, God. Her Man is finally here.
However, Zac paid no heed to her. His body kept twitching several times as he was extremely angry.
His hands balled into fists as his intimidating form shook with rage, jaws clenching and unclenching, and he could not help but tremble at every footstep that he took toward her.
He looked like a demon walking against the light, causing Arianna to tremble with fear and chill.
The flaming of his eyes told her he wanted to destroy something, a volcano inside him wished to unleash. She had never seen him that furious before.
The wild look on his face… Jesus, it was flat-out terrifying and more than intimidating.
“B-Boss,”
“What was my warning to you, Arianna?” Zac asked in that deceptive calmness of his. Meanwhile, he was already picking Arianna up and her feet were now flying in the air.
Nick, who was still holding the silencer gun that was shot at Arianna's hand earlier, quickly let it go and ran up to untie Ava.
“Are you alright, Princess?” he asked, concerned. But a loud bang resounded through the quiet building, cutting off Ava’s response.
She looked over and saw that Zac had flung Arianna across the room and an audible whimper could be heard from her.
“Zac, stop it!” Ava cautioned, assisting Nick to extract the ropes from her body, and sprang to her feet but she fell to the ground as soon as she got up. Then It occurred to her that her legs had gone numb.
“Hey, careful,” Nick helped her stand up and sat back on the chair but Ava had become restless, seeing that Zac was about to kill Arianna.
“Stop him now, Nick. He will kill her,” she tugged on Nick’s sleeves but Nick only shook his head as if to say that he couldn't interfere.
Ava didn't stop. She noticed Lee standing afar and motioned to him to come closer and stop their boss but Lee lowered his head like a deflated balloon while tears stung his eyes.
He thought in his mind, who was this girl pleading for someone who had almost ended her life to be spared?
Zac’s hands clenched into balls, shoulders tensed. His expression tightened while saying the word. “Remind me of my warning to you again, Arianna,”
His lips curled into a sneer, and the vein of his temple popped up as he took a threatening step toward her, making her stumble back on her knees.
“Y-You told me not to m-mess with her again, boss. Y-You Pr-promised to kill me the n-next time,” Arianna recollected, shaking, sobbing and stuttering.
Lee’s eyes shut on their own and a tear rolled down his face on its own accord after hearing Arianna’s words just now. So the boss had personally warned her to stay away from his woman but she still…
There was no way she could escape death today. Gw concluded in his mind.
Ava’s mouth on the other hand gaped open and her eyes widened in disbelief. They had such a conversation?
“I TOLD YOU TO STAY CLEAR AWAY FROM HER YET!” Zac roared and punched her on the cheek.
The sound of teeth-rattling was heard even before her teeth popped out of her mouth and scattered on the floor.
Ava gasped and covered her mouth with her hand, her eyes dilating in shock…terrified.
“HOW DARE YOU LAY YOUR HANDS ON HER?!” Zac grabbed her like she weighed nothing again and hurled her to another part of the room.
Arianna landed with a crash, groaning loudly as pain shot through her from various parts of her body.
“Boss, p-please,” Arianna tried to plead for mercy in a trembling voice but he raised his hand and gave her another hard slap.
Ava closed her eyes immediately, not willing to watch the atrocity scene anymore.
“Take her out of this place,” she heard Zac have an order and she quickly opened her eyes and saw that she was being carried by Nick.
“No, Nick. Please put me down! Put me down,” Ava cried but Nick turned deaf ears and walked out of the place.
“Zac, please. Spare her, I beg of you! Don't kill her, please,” Ava pleaded earnestly in a crying tone but an unbearable wail of Arianna was the next thing she heard, and her shoulders slumped in sheer defeat.
Nick smiled when he saw the tears in her eyes, “Worry less, Princess. She got what she deserved,”
