Chapter 43
Paulina
Things are starting to get complicated for us now. Since the return of this cursed daughter of Muse, everything is starting to get tough for us. I would have liked so much that she stayed there and never came back. This weekend, Pen is there and I spend the day of Saturday in his company. I gave Georges the pretext that I was going shopping and that I was going to go to the hair salon afterwards. He knows I'll have enough for the whole day. So being at Pen, we spend the whole morning making love. It's always like that when he comes here. I take full advantage of it. Pen is a real sex beast. He knows how to go about giving me intense pleasure. It's the only one to get there. After our sex party, we start talking about more serious things.
"Things are already getting tough for our business. I'm afraid the noose is tightening around us." Pen says to me, caressing my back with his index finger, while I am lying in his arms.
"It's all because of that plague Muse. If she stayed Abroad, we wouldn't be here."
"That's for sure! I wonder what we can do with her!" Pen retorts in an overwhelmed tone.
"And the worst part is that Cécile's son also happens to be Mr. Hawam's son. What a coincidence! I still can't believe it's true. Of all the men who exist in this country, it took let him be his father."
"You're joking I hope!? How come Monsieur Hawam is Cécile's son? Who told you that?" Pen hastens to ask me, not coming back.
"You heard him right! He's his father and he was even here a week ago."
"Here at home? To do what?" Pen asks me the question by putting himself on alert.
"Calm down my darling! He was more at his father's Charles. He found me there." I tell Pen, bringing him back to his composure.
"And what were you doing at his house?" He questions me jealously.
"Nothing bad. We were just talking about our business, plus now is not the time to be jealous. Know that Cécile's son asked him why he lied to him that he was not his son. .."
"And the idiot told him the whole truth?" Pen interrupts me.
"No, but he already knew the truth. He just wanted to confront Charles and refused him anything." I explain to Pen.
"And how did he know that Mr. Hawam is his father? Besides, we didn't even have that information."
"I don't know by what magic they found out either. But Sandra told me that according to Euniel, they did a DNA test and it came back positive."
"Shit! It's getting more and more dangerous for our business!" Pen exclaims angrily.
"And that's not all. Charles told me that Euniel let him know that he is going to find his mother and he will find her, whatever the cost. And he didn't seem to be kidding." I tell Pen who loses his peace of mind even more.
"Shit! Luckily Audrey didn't tell her sister about us, otherwise everything would be screwed up already!" Charles exclaims staring into space. I look at him confused. Who is he talking about? Let's understand that he had just let go of a blunder, Pen tries to pull himself together, but I don't take long to question him
"Dui are you talking about? Who is this Audrey?"
"Uh... Audrey? Forget that one! She's nobody, just a colleague who asked me for help." He tries to justify himself nervously by lying crudely. My disbelieving eyes on him show him that I don't believe him at all.
"Don't take me for a kid Pen, it's insulting to my intelligence. You want to talk to me about this Audrey, otherwise it's going to end badly between us, and you know it!" I summon him as my anger escalates. Pen, having understood that he cannot escape, hesitantly tells me
"Audrey is a colleague that I met. I swear to you that she is nothing. But while flirting with her, she told me that she is Muse's sister and that they live together with their mother at Monsieur Hawam's."
"And it's in the lion's den that you decided to go find a lion cub? But do you realize what your indiscretion will cause us, if this little one opens her mouth to tell her idyll glass sister?" I tell him in anger.
"Calm down! This will never happen!" Pen responds confidently.
"And how can you be sure? What makes you think she hasn't mentioned you to her sore sister yet?"
"Well, because she's a big fan of me and I asked her not to tell anyone about our story, even her little sister." Pen answers me in a reassuring tone. I already wanted to answer angry because he tells me about a story between them, however I decide to pull myself together. It could be a boon that we will exploit. So I say to Pen thoughtfully
"All in all, this story might not be that bad!"
"Do you think so? Aren't you jealous of her?" Pen asks me hesitantly. He himself can't get over my reaction. I resume by telling him my idea in detail.
"As for jealousy, we'll talk about that later. But we can harness this little one to work for our cause."
"How so? I don't quite understand what you're talking about. Can you be more explicit?" Pen asks me looking lost.
"In fact, if this girl is dating you and you reassure me that she won't tell her family about you, you can use her as a conduit between her family and us. She'll report to you on what's going on. they are doing, their plans and what they are planning for the future. It could be very valuable to us." I tell Pen who listens to me attentively. At the end of my story, he tells me, understanding well
"She'll be something of a mole then, or an undercover agent."
"Bingo! You got it right! It's your job now."
