I don't understand Euniel. What does he want in the end? It was he who let me leave the last one, humiliated by Sandra. He did nothing, nor even followed to give me an explanation of his behavior. Whereas a week earlier, he had promised me that we were going to get together and that he would end his relationship with Sandra. It sounded like he wanted to humiliate me and it worked. His fiancée didn't stop taunting me and telling me they're happy together. And today he comes to play super jealous and upset. I think it's me who should be the one who's upset, since he really hurt me. Anyway, I hope I was clear enough with him and that he is not going to venture into my life again.
I enter the fully inflated house. My father was sitting in the living room. He was still calm as usual.
"Good evening dad !" I launched against him without however stopping me.
"Good evening my daughter. Come sit down!" My father ordered me in a calm voice, but one that was at the same firm.
I comply then I go to take my place near my father.
"So where are you from?"
"I was out with Nicolas, you know."
"Why did you come home so late?"
"The walk took longer than expected dad. Why are you asking me all these questions?" I say to my father not understanding where he is coming from, since he knows me responsible enough not to do stupid things.
"Don't be offended if I ask you all these questions. But I'm worried about you."
"Why, then?" I retorted surprised at his sudden concern.
"Daughter, I know you still love Euniel and he loves you too. Trust me, you will only hurt yourself by dating a man you don't love."
"And why can he be with another woman and I should be embarrassed to go out with another man?"
"Euniel also hurts being with Sandra. But he is convinced that it is the best thing to do."
"Why ?"
"Because Sandra is expecting a child from him and he doesn't want to make that child suffer the same fate he suffered as a child, by separating from the mother of his child." My father explains to me in front of my curious look.
"Sandra is pregnant?" I asked looking into space.
"Yes. And that's why Euniel feels compelled to stay with her."
"He tells himself that he will reproduce the same thing as his mother by leaving the family." I watched the gaze and thoughtful.

"And what about Nicolas? I've already given him my word to get together. Don't you think it would be weird to come back and tell him that I've changed my mind? me a speechless person."
"To tell you the truth, you were wrong to accept his proposal to put you together. I don't know how you young people today are. You change partners as if you change clothes. Who told you that the heart changes so easily? You torture your heart and it ends up hardening in the long run. That's why so many young couples suffer in their homes." My father reprimands me severely.
"I'm sorry dad, I just wanted a way to forget Euniel and get him out of my heart." I stammered, lowering my head.
"And you thought you were doing it right by using another man?! Is it a bug to help you forget about Euniel? Can't you decide, for example, to start working hard, or traveling, or do anything else? Why do you think it takes a man to help you forget another? Know then that in the end you will be unhappy because your heart will refuse to love this man, and this man will also be unhappy because he will put a lot of effort into making you forget about the other man. I listened attentively to my father and was captivated by his great wisdom. I exclaimed while listening to him

I believe my father is right. I shouldn't use Nicolas as if he were just an object, or a spare tire. Nobody deserves to be treated like that. Instead, I want to focus on my life and do what can help me grow. But first, I have to think about how to help Euniel. He helped me when I needed help, it's my turn to return the favor to him. For that, I need the Lord to give me strength and wisdom to be able to help him.
In the days that followed, I decided to clear up everything in my life. The following week, I asked Nicolas to meet and I told him that I no longer want our relationship.
"But why Muse? We were good together. You promised me we could be a couple!" He is sadly offended.
"I know Nicolas, but I was wrong. Being in a relationship would be a big mistake. I prefer to be alone and focus on my well-being before thinking about getting into a relationship."
"Is it because of Euniel? It's him huh? He told you he wants you to get back together? He's lying to you Muse. He's not planning to get together with you because he's still with you Sandra and they are getting married. He will never be able to come back with you, because these two are expecting a child and he will not abandon it for anything in the world."
"I know Nicolas. I know everything you just mentioned and let me tell you that my decision is not influenced by Euniel. He does not know that I am ending our relationship. "Hello!" I say holding the phone to my ear.

"I didn't ask how things were going, but I'm asking you to let me know about your fiancé and his pesky troupe." Pauline said to me, growling.
"Madam, ever since Euniel came back from his trip to his father's, he wouldn't tell me anything about the meetings they usually hold on Sundays." I told him in a small voice.
"How come he didn't want to tell you anything. Didn't you ask him? You're his fiancée, he's supposed to hide nothing from you, I think."
"I asked him to update me on their progress and that I would like to help them in their search, but he flatly refuses. I told him that he should not hide things from me, since we will be getting married soon . But he didn't relent." I told Pauline.
"And did he tell you why he refuses to give you information about their discussions?"
"Even there, he refused to give me a valid reason. He gave me a pretext like what, he waits until everything is cleared up, to tell me where they are. But until they have an important lead, he can't tell me anything."
"That only means one thing." Pauline pointed to the voice giving the impression that she is pensive.
"So what? I hastened to ask him.

"No, I don't think so. In which case, he would have confronted you by now. I don't think they have any idea who the mole is, but are just dismissing you as a precaution." Pauline she said confidently.
"And what to do so that they do not suspect anything?" I asked worried.
"For now, you don't have to do anything. Just put pressure on Euniel to get married. That way, he won't have a reason to hide anything from you anymore. And for the rest, we're going to have fun at to confuse them so as to be able to prevent them from achieving their goals."
Pauline spoke in a reassured voice and I wouldn't like to be them right now, because she is someone to be avoided so as not to be her enemy.
