Caleb

“ I have Max checking into it but it's a dead end. I'll find out who did it . In the meantime you're staying with me. There's no debating on that and Holly will agree with me ” ,I said, holding her hands.

“ Okay”.

The door opened and Holly and Ryan walked in.

“ So ?” Holly asked, looking at us.

“ They've already decided to be together, don't you see he's relaxed ” ,Ryan said looking at me. I tossed the pillow at him.

“ Okay, Then you two need to leave. I'm sure you don't want anyone knowing and Cassy and the others are headed here” , Holly said looking at us.

“ Okay. When she's discharged you're bringing her to my place Holly ” ,I said looking at her.

“ Okay. Now go they'll be here ” ,She said impatiently.

“ I'll see you soon” , I said, giving her a kiss.

“ Okay ” .

Ryan and I left, we were about to walk out when we saw her employees walking in so we walked out the back. On the way back to my place. Ryan was giving me a rundown of What's been going on. For the last month I didn't really have an interest in anything.

“I need some of the construction workers to come over to my place. If she's going to be there she won't be able to go outside. If she does anyone can see her”. I said, looking at him.

“ How high of a fence are you thinking?”he asked. He always knew what I was thinking.

” Not sure, let's get them out here first then we'll decide ” ,I said, pulling up to the construction site.

Aria

I didn't say anything, Holly just hugged me and smiled.

“ So you're officially together?” , She asked

“ Yes but it's just you and Ryan that knows,no one else. You know how people in this town are plus Lacy” ,I said quietly.

“ Okay ” , Just then Cassy ,Grace and Mya walked into the room.

“ What the hell happened Aria. I showed up at the cafe for work and found the entire place destroyed ”Grace asked, taking a seat on the chair. Holly explained everything .

“ So what are you going to do now?” Cassy asked.

“ Nothing, the insurance company will come check it out then I'll repair it. Don't worry you'll be paid your normal salary until the cafe is up and running again”. I said

“ okay,if you need any help let us know ” ,Cassy said

“ I will. In the meantime I'm going to get an estimate on my place. I need to rebuild my home ” , I said looking at Holly.

“ Where are you going to stay? ,The apartment above the Cafe is ruined ” ,Mya said.

“ I'm staying with Holly in the meantime ” ,I said.

“ Okay that's good. Please be careful Aria. It seems like someone is after you. First your house then the cafe. I don't like that”.Grace said quietly.

“ I know. I'll see you girls soon. I'm supposed to be discharged soon so I need to start getting everything back in track ” ,I said

“ Okay be careful and take care of yourself, don't forget to call us if you need us “ , Mya said.

“ I won't” , I said, watching them leave one by one.

After they left the doctor came in and checked me over and told me I was okay to leave. On the way back we stopped at the police station. Chief Williams didn't have anything to say other than what we knew. We headed back to the cafe. When we got into the apartment,it was turned upside down.

Luckily, after the fire destroyed my place, I took all my important documents pertaining to the businesses I owned ,my financial documents, house papers and everything and left it in a safety deposit box at the bank.

They broke my TV, computer, Turned the fridge upside down, and smashed everything. Even the closet all my clothes were ripped To shreds.

“Who the fuck would do this ?”. Holly said

“ I don't know. I need to buy some clothes ”, I said walking around the apartment. When I walked into the cafe ,my heart broke. My mother rented this cafe when I was seven. She was a single mother. She said my dad Was a married man and she didn't know he was when she got involved with him. He didn't want the child so she left ,she moved here to Payson Arizona and raised me herself. She had this cafe for my entire life. When Mrs Giddings took sick, Mr Giddings wanted to sell the building.

Mom bought it from him and redid the entire place and made it ours. Holly,mom and I spent many weekends upstairs having fun. I've spent half my teenage years in this cafe,so did most of the girls in this town and now someone destroyed it.

I walked over and picked up the broken picture frame that was on the ground. I picked it up brushing off the glass shards. It was a picture of me and my mom. It was after I graduated high school.

I felt Holly beside me “ I'm sorry Aria I really am, don't worry Caleb is going to find out who did this we will find out who did this. Come on it's not safe in here there's broken glasses everywhere”.

We walked out of the cafe.

“ Okay come on here's what we'll do I'll take you to get some new stuff and I'll drop you over at Caleb's place . I know that people are going to assume you're staying with me , well the crazy bitch Lacy may be keeping an eye on you, so you won't be able to leave Caleb's place freely . Don't worry , just trust me, I'll handle the insurance company pertaining to the cafe and everything else okay. Just tell me what you need done and I'll get it done for you, just don't leave there until we figure out what's going on”. She said, looking at me.

“ Thank you Holly, really thank you, you're the bestest friend there is, you're more like my sister than a friend and I don't know what I would do without you. You mean the world to me and one day I'm going to show you how much you mean to me” . I said looking at her.

“ Yes yes you love me I know and I love you too" .she said, smiling, throwing her hands around me.

We did some shopping and after four hours I called a halt. I had more than enough clothes, we had a quick bite to eat at one of the restaurants and around four she drove me over to Caleb's place . When we got there , they were construction workers about to leave. Henwa building a fence, was it because I would be here?. I told her to drive straight into the garage and park inside. I didn't want anyone seeing me there . the minute we got into the garage the door closed. We got out of the car and the door to the garage leading into the house opened and he was standing there.

“ They didn't see you did they?”., He asked

“ No” ,I said , getting out of the car, as he made his way over to me.

“ Damn this is a sweet place you got here Cross ” , Holly said, opening the door and grabbing my bags. I guess Caleb saw the bags and had a confused look on his face.
The bags were from the high end stores in town.

“ Those fuckers destroyed all her clothes,she needed new ones ” , Holly said walking past him into the house. He pulled me into him. Caressing my face. I took the time to properly look at him. He really was handsome and his eyes were mesmerising.

“ Why are you staring at me baby?”., he asked leaning in closer to me.

“ Nothing, Just looking at you ” I said

“ Hmm”., He said minutes before taking my mouth. His hands in my hair, pulling and tugging. I couldn't help but moan. When he deepened the kiss, My body shivered. He groaned into my mouth. He looked at me.

“ You are absolutely amazing Baby girl ” ,he said holding my hands.

“ Let's go. Ryan is out back barbequing, For some unknown reason” ,he said, leading me into the house. We heard yelling, when we walked into the kitchen . Holly was yelling at Ryan.

“ umm, Holly what's going on?”I asked her.

“ This idiot is trying to make biscuits,I told him he's doing it wrong but he won't listen. He's hard Headed” , she said

“ Umm Ryan you should listen to her, she's known for making the best biscuits “ ,I said looking at him.

“ Okay fine you make them” ,He said, throwing up his hands and walking away smiling.

“ That's right, get out” ,Holly told him as she continued. That's when I realised she got played. He wanted her to do it. I sat by the counter and looked at her. When she put the biscuits into the oven Ryan walked into the kitchen and sat next to me.

“ Should I tell her?”., I asked him

He smirked, “ Sure “

“ Holly you got played” , I said looking at her.
