Caleb

Ryan was pacing back and forth.
“ Okay, this throws a wrench in thing's ”, he said, taking a seat.

“Well I already told Tyler, her husband has someone that fucks up anyone that Screws with her so , let him handle it . I'll deal with Catherine ”, and I knew exactly how to do that.

“ Arch, Chief Matthew , Gertrude, Holly, Mya, Grace and Ryan and now him. Those are everyone that knows we're married. Everyone knows Who he is except Mya and Grace. Was Tyler the one that burnt the cafe?”,

“ I believe so”, I looked at Max

“ The cameras in the surrounding Areas were disabled before the fire started and were enabled minutes after, the person wiped away all evidence”, Max said.

“ Max get me Jason's number “, He nodded and walked out.

“ What are you going to do boy?”Gertrude asked me.

“ Diane Campbell wants Cassandra Milton Dead that's Why she's looking for her so , we'll give it it her”,

Max walked back in and Jason was behind him. Well this was a surprise.

“ My father is in Payson and so is my mother”

“ I swear I would lose my head. Arch told me yesterday,the senators conference is in Payson this year. With everything I forgot to mention it to you ”, Gertrude said looking at us.

“ Your mother wants Cassandra Milton,so give her Cassandra Milton. Find her but she's already dead. We'll get a tombstone ready ”, I said looking at him. I looked at her.

“ You Are going over to my house and staying there. Max, get some more security for my place. Everyone in Payson knows I have the house. Have the girls at the cafe spread the story of what Lacy did that'll be the reason for the security. You'll stay there until they leave and I swear baby girl if you try to fight me on this I'll lock your ass in the room ”, I said looking at her.

“ But the cafe?”..

“ Holly and I will handle it”, Gertrude said looking at her.

“ Your choice baby. Locked away here in Payson or New York?”,.

“ If my mother knows you're here, she's going to stick around to see me screw with you “. Jason said.

“ Yea Sure do whatever the fuck you want as long as she's not involved in anyway or she gets hurt, if that happens I'll strangle the fucking life out of you ”.

“ Good then it's set . I'm heading over to meet them. You'll have thirty minutes to get her out of town then my mother will start roaming around ”, he said, before walking out.

Aria

My life has turned completely upside down. Running the cafe and dealing with My ex was nothing compared to this crap. I Stood up and walked out without saying anything. I saw the car so I just got in.
He got in beside me and was quiet. Ryan and Max got in and didn't say anything.

“ I'll stop by the Cafe and let Holly in on the situation. I'll get your stuff”,

“ Thank you Ryan “,

When we dropped Ryan off and left for his place.

“ Max , Did Nathan get everything replaced?”,

“ Yes Sir, He had help from the construction crew. He burnt everything as instructed ”.

“ Okay ”

I didn't say anything,my head was hurting. My house,my cafe, my mother's past ,my father and his Crazy family,this was all too much for me. When we got to his place I just got out , I didn't wait for him. I walked straight into the house and to the kitchen.

I found alcohol in the fridge, so I took a beer and drank it. When I turned around he was leaning against the wall quietly looking at me. This was too overwhelming for me. I downed the beer and grabbed another one,but he still hasn't said anything. I finished it and walked past him and headed to the room.

When I walked into the room,it was different, everything was new, even the carpets. I stood for a minute and just breathed. This was a nightmare my entire life had become crazy because I met him. I shouldn't have given him a chance. This relationship wasn't possible. I heard him behind me.

“ How long?”,

“ How long what? baby girl?”,

I was getting frustrated “ How long will we keep hiding this? Whatever this is between us.My life has become too complicated Caleb. Give me a divorce, let me go back to my quiet life”, I said quietly

I felt my hand being grabbed, he pushed me into the wall.

“ Divorce?, that's not happening Aria. I'll give up everything I have if that makes you feel better. I would Walk away from everything I've built so I can keep you. Let's go , I'll take you away to an island where it's just the two of us. Will that make you feel better?”,

He asked, looking down at me , caressing my face.

“ Caleb, please “

“ No Aria. You're not leaving me”, He said, holding me into him.

“ I love you Aria, just. Please don't do this. Just give me some time and I'll take care of everything I promise please ”,

He said holding on to me. I would be lying if I said I wanted a divorce. Knowing that he wouldn't let me go made me feel relieved and it calmed my anxious heart.

“ Okay “

Holly

We were in what used to be the Cafe cleaning ,I saw Ryan walking in. He nodded to me and I walked over to him.

“ What's up?”,

“ Her father is here and so is the wife. Jason decided to drop everything with Caleb and protect her from his parents. You'll know what they look like if you see them. She's going to stay at Caleb's place until they leave. She needs her stuff ”.

“ Okay, I'll go pack it up and leave it in the living room so you can swing by and get it. What about Catherine?”,

“ Caleb's going to deal with her himself,Jason will handle Benson ”.

“Okay”.

I was about to walk away when I felt the tug at the back of my shirt.
“ How are you handling all this?”,

“ I'm okay. Aria is all I have. I just want her safe. With Caleb here you'll need to go back to New York ”, I said looking around the cafe. Everyone was busy doing something.

“ I'm okay, I'm heading over to get her stuff”. I walked over to Grace and told her I had something important to do. I got into my car and headed home. Once there I grabbed her suitcase and packed her belongings. I had just finished and walked out to the living room wtjr door opened and he walked in.

“ Here it is ,all packed “ , I said, placing the suitcase In Front of him.

He walked past the suitcase and grabbed me ,his mouth on mine.
“ I've missed you ”, he said, whispering against my ears, holding me.
“ Ryan, if anyone….”

“ No one saw me”,

I wanted to tell Aria but I wasn't sure about him. We're not from the same world. He spends his time around women of elite backgrounds and here I was. Yes I was wealthy and accomplished but I felt inferior. Everything he asked me to give him, give us a chance but I was scared.

“ I'm not leaving yet Holly, just give me a chance please. One chance to prove that I mean it, that I want you ”.

“ Okay ”

“ Thank you, you won't regret it , I promise”, he said, kissing me.

“ I'm going to drop this off . I'll be back tonight okay ”.

“ Okay, I'm heading back to the cafe ”.

Only time will tell if this is the right thing. I gave him a twenty minute Head start then I left and headed back to the Cafe. When I got back, everyone was still busy. I had stopped at the restaurant and got dinner for everyone.

“ Okay, break time. I've got food , dessert and drinks”

“ Now this is what I'm talking about, ” Gertrude said, walking over to me.
We were relaxing, eating and drinking when the makeshift door pushed open and Tyler Benson walked in.

“ WHERE THE FUCK IS HE?”

We just sat there looking at him. Blood was dripping from his face.

“ Boy don't you dare shout in here . Now Who are you looking for?”, Gertrude asked

“ Aria Garcia's husband. Look at what that fucker sis to me ”, he said pointing at his head.

“ Aria's husband is away on deployment. That's probably the work of one of his boys Who he has watching his wife. Now that man doesn't fuck around when it comes to his wife”. I said. Thankfully I remembered what Caleb told him. When I looked outside, I saw Jason Campbell sitting in his car looking at us. He nodded at me then drove off.
