When we got to the airfield the private jet was already waiting. There was no need to stick around or stay any longer. I left all my clothes, just the important stuff Ryan grabbed within 20 minutes we were in the air.

“ How the hell did she find you?”, He asked me

“ I have no idea,Max didn't see anything. Luckily she didn't find me in the house with Aria ” , I said looking at him.

I told him what I heard over the call. She lied about her name which was smart.

“ As long as she leaves and doesn't run into Lacy then their won't be any problems”, he said

“ Max already sent Nathan to meet Holly he's going to speak to Holly instead of her I already sent her a burner phone I explained everything the keys to the house and the cars are also there I know she's not going to go to the house or use any of the cars but still at least she has it and she can have the police chief check on the house for me”. I said

By five that afternoon after four hours we landed in New York. One of my helicopters was there. I didn't say anything. I grabbed my laptop, and Max grabbed my bags.

“ I'm heading to my place, lemme know when you get home, I'll see you tomorrow at the office. Hey be careful “. Ryan said, getting into his car.

“ Okay, Yes Ryan I will “ ,I said walking towards the chopper.

After the whole problem with Catherine and Jason, I had my parents and my sister shifted to a bigger house in the less crowded side of Manhattan. The place was a damn mansion with enough Yard space for the chopper to land. When the doors to the chopper opened, I saw her. She didn't wait, she ran straight towards me and hugged me.

“ Welcome home big brother ”. She said, looking at me. We kept low and walked out of range of the chopper's blade. Max already took my bags.

I hugged my mother.
“ Oh it's so good to see you. Where is she?”. My mother asked ,I needed to call her.

“ Let me grab a shower and then we'll talk. I'm hungry ”,I said looking at her.

“ Go on, the West side of the house is already cleaned up”. She said, I looked at her, Aria probably told her. Once I was on my side of the house , I checked the time,it was now seven in the evening.

I pulled the burner phone out and called her. She answered in the third ring.

“ Hey baby,I just got in” ,

“ Okay, that's good. Tell your family I said Hello ” ,She said quietly. She sounded hesitant.

“ What's wrong princess?”.,

“ Nothing, I'm just a bit tired,I didn't get much sleep last” ,she said

I could hear the ,laugh in her voice.

“ Neither did I, but it was worth it” , I said, pulling off my shirt.

“ Umm after I came back from the station, there was an altercation with Lacy ”. She said

I grabbed the phone, She told me everything that was said.

“ So now all the women in Payson are out to get her” ,She said in a sigh.

“ That's good baby, it'll keep her away from you. I miss you ”. I said

“ I miss you too. Have you eaten?”.

“ No , I needed to speak to you first ”,

“ I'm okay. Holly and I just got in. Go Take a shower and eat and spend some time with your family. I'm going to grab a shower and Holly and I are going to relax. I'll let you know if anything happens ” ,she said.

“ Okay. I love you Mrs Cross ” , I said smiling

“ I love you too Mr Cross ” ,

“ bye baby” ,

“ Bye Caleb “ , she said, ending the call.

I grabbed a quick shower and headed downstairs. After dinner I told them exactly what happened that caused me to return right away.

“ Okay that's good. When you get a chance,find a way for her to come visit even if it's for two days alone ” ,My mother said.

“ I will , Shit I forgot to call Ryan “ , I said pulling my phone out.
