“ I should be asking you that question. I saw Catherine Davidson leave the car . Are you Two seeing each other?”.

“ No ,she needed help with something”

“ I overheard some locals talking about Cross, he's here and building a resort. Make sure that doesn't happen ”.

“ Sure” , I said without looking at her.

“ Any news on the search for Cassandra Milton?”. I looked at her.

“ Amanda Russo now Amanda Cross and Cassandra Milton. You asked me to get revenge on them and their families. I never questioned you why, I did what you asked but I need something now. I can't keep blindly fucking with people's lives without knowing exactly Why?”.

I turned my phone slightly and saw that the call was still connected, so I turned the phone over and left it.

“ He was the guy I've been in love with. When Cassandra and Amanda transferred to the same school as me , we became friends little did I know he would choose her over me”. She said looking out the window.

“ Who are you talking about?”.

“ Michael, Michael Cross. I was in love with him and Amanda took him away from me. Then Cassandra has an affair with my husband. They planned it ”.

“ You have me going after these women and their families because. A man didn't choose you. Cassandra Milton didn't know he was your husband. He never told her” , I said looking at her.

“ How do you know that?”, she yelled at me.

“ Because Dad said so. He knows I'm looking for her. He never told her who his wife was and she never asked”. I said

“ Find her ”

“ And then what mom?”.

“ I'll deal with her ”. She opened the car door and got out.

I watched her walk away. I turned the phone back over and put it on speaker.

“ So what do you intend to do now Cross?”.

“ Someone's working on the grave for Cassandra Milton ”.

“ Sure. I'm returning to New York right now, please inform your parents that I'll be visiting them. I need my mother to understand and hear it from Michael Cross himself that he is and was never interested in her.”

“ Sure I'll call ahead “

I ended the call and sat there. I looked at Pete. “ Nothing that is spoken here is to be ever mentioned to anyone understood?”.

“ Yes boss ”.

I ended the call and looked at her.
“ We'll figure it out Baby ”.
“ Okay. I'm going to grab a shower and make dinner ”, she walked out Leaving me alone.

I dialed the number and she answered on the second ring. “ Yes big brother?”.

“ I need to speak with Mom and dad ” ,
“ Sure, gimme a minute ” , I heard her calling for them.

“ Caleb what's wrong?”,
“ Mom please put the phone on speaker ”,
“ Okay, it's on. What is this about?”, she asked warily.

“ Jason Campbell knows the truth about Aria. He's no longer a problem or a threat to us. However you and dad are both the original targets”.

“ What do you mean?”.

“ Diane Kensington. Do you know that name?’I asked hoping she said no.

“ Yes ,D was a friend of mine and Cassandra but she dropped out of school. What does this have to do with the Campbell's?.”

“ Diane Kensington is Diane Campbell, mom. Jason will be visiting you later today. Don't worry he just needs to talk to you and Dad and get the story straight. He'll explain everything ” .

“ Okay if you're sure. How's Aria?”.
“ She's okay. I'll speak to you soon”.

I ended the call and was looking at the phone. I called Max.

“ Yes Boss ?”.

“ I want you to find out where Anthony Mayers is, her ex boyfriend. Find out who he's been talking to and meeting. Also Find out exactly where lacy is?”.

“ On it boss “.

It's either him or Lacy, one of the two had something to do with what was happening to her. I heard someone yelling. I walked out to the living area and I saw her hiding behind one of the pillars. I was going over to her but she shook her head no and pointed towards the front door.

I walked over and saw Catherine Davidson in my front yard screaming. I walked back into the office and grabbed my Phone. I made a call.

“ Ryan, Catherine is outside the house yelling and throwing a tantrum. Make a call to Jacqueline and have her send someone down here ,also get the girls from town. Let everyone go live on social media “.

I ended the call and walked towards her,
“ Did she see you?”.

“Yes and No. I was just coming down from my shower and I barely saw her . She saw my outline but not me. She knows there's a woman in here”.

I pulled out my phone and called Jason. He answered in the third ring.

“ What can I do for you Cross?”.

“ How does Catherine know I have a house here and I'm here?. She is standing outside my house creating a scene and your sister is hiding “.

“ Shit. That means someone else is helping her. Do whatever you want with her. Did she see Aria?”


“No ,she knows there's a woman here but not who”.

“ Then handle it, she's not my problem. I'll head to your place tomorrow , I have some things to deal with . I'll send someone down to deal with Catherine “.

Ryan was calling.

“ Yep ?”
“ We're ten minutes away,is he still there?”

I walked back to the front door and she saw me.

“ Yep”.
“ Okay we're almost there “.

I ended the call and walked out the door making sure to lock it behind me. I stood looking at the woman standing in my front yard.

“ How could you Caleb? I love you and you had the nerves to let me hear you fucking some random slut that you've made your wife?”.

I didn't say anything, I just stood looking at her.

“ Answer me god dammit, I was faithful to you, we're perfect for each other and all because I love you a bit too much you've done this, You've painted me as a psychopath?”.

I saw the cars pulling up. Guess Ryan really did bring everyone. Even a News crew.

“ Tell everyone Why you're here Catherine?” I said looking at her.

“ I DON'T FUCKING CARE WHO'S HERE.You belong to me Caleb Cross and if I can't have you then no one can”. She yelled picking up a piece of wood.

She started breaking the windows on my SUV. I showed them to stop, letting her do the damage.

“ You're a psychopath, Catherine Davidson. That's what you are?”.

“ Bring that FUCKING SLUT OUT HERE. BRING THAT WHORE YOU HAVE HIDING INSIDE OUT . I'LL FUCKING KILL HER”.

This girl is absolutely insane. Everyone was looking at me.

“ There is no one in my house but me . If you think I'll let you step a single foot in here you're absolutely crazy”.

She started picking up stones and throwing them into the windows. I saw Chief Mathew looking at me. I nodded,he understood what I meant,she was here. A Black SUV pulled up and a woman got out. Hmm Mrs Davidson.

“ Catherine, what nonsense is this? Apologize to Mr Cross and everyone standing here this instant”. Her mother said, grabbing her hands. She pulled away.

“ Why should I apologize?, he's the one that's cheating on me with the whore he had hiding in there “, she yelled As she continued breaking the windows.

“ Chief Matthew , I'm pressing charges against Ms Davidson for destruction of property”.

He started walking towards her ,her mother looked at me.

“ Mr Cross please,let me Calm her down, I'll pay for the damages “, she walked over to Catherine and slapped her.

“ You are from the Davidson family, this little show if yours is disrespectful and degrading. Caleb Cross has nothing to do with you nor does he want anything to do with you. Apologize Now”.

She pushed her mother away and she fell to the ground. Everyone was shocked.

“ I didn't do anything wrong”, Catherine yelled walking towards me.

“ Take one more step and I'll hit you”, I said looking at her.

“ Ha , yeah right you love me”, she said walking up the stairs towards me. I didn't even think, I slapped her across the face.

“ Caleb?”she whispered, holding her cheeks.

“ As of this moment, Catherine Davidson is no longer a part of the Davidson family “. Her mother said looking at her.

“ Mr Cross you can do as you please ”, she said walking back towards the car and getting in. She left and everyone was just looking at the drama that was unfolding.

“ Caleb please, we're perfect for each other. I love you ”, she said, grabbing onto me and trying to kiss me. I pushed her away.

“ You're Disrespectful and I despise you. Get the Fuck out of my sight “. I said walking into the house and slamming the door in her face. I walked upstairs and found her in our room.

“ No Caleb ,It's over. I'm not doing this anymore. I need to figure out what is going on and who is doing this to me. Jason isn't a problem for me. As long as his parents aren't here then I will have no problems. Leave Payson Caleb, Sell this house and leave. I'll send you the divorce papers “.

I walked over to her but she stopped me.

“ If you touch me or say anything, I'll walk out those doors and let everyone know ”, she said walking out of the room. I looked at the bed and she left the ring and necklace I had given her. Fuck
